The only thing I didn't like about the services provided by Emerald Green Of Bradenton was that there was no detailed graphic print-out. They typed up a written description. There wasn't really a visual drawing. Other than that, she gave good advice and was very pleasant to work with. I was just disappointed that there was no graphic plan. They had really good prices and were really friendly people.

Apparently, this company has extremely limited resources whereby delivering lawn mowing services takes a priority over lawn sprinkler services. If they could not provide a timely service, they should concentrate on their core business of lawn mowing where they may have a higher degree of success in delivering good customer service.

Emerald Green was very good at the begining when we paid them extra to do some extra clean up since our prior lawn service did not do a good job and things were very overgrown. We discussed our needs with Emerald Green up front and made it very clear we wanted a service that could keep up with the trimming of hedges, etc. and keep the weeds under controls. They said they had no problem with our request. As time passed they did less and less trimming and weeding. We would consistently point out the things that were not getting done. They finally said they never said they would pull weeds, that they only spray them. Which does not really address the fact that we had 20" tall weeds in the garden. They confirmed they do not trim on a weekly basis, but the longer we had them, the less they trimmed. They eventually said they no longer wanted to do our lawn work and at that point our gardens were so overgrown that they were in the same shape as before they started. Very disappointing as things started so positive. They would react quickly if it was something that we had to pay extra for (the initial clean up when we wanted plants added), but the weekly service declined.

THE OWNER WAS TEACHING THE SPRINKLER TRADE TO SEVERAL YOUNG MEN WHO DID THEIR BEST. I DON'T KNOW HOW LONG THEY EXPECTED TO BE AT OUR PLACE BUT THEY SEEMED LIKE THEY WERE IN HURRY UP MODE. GUESS I GOT WHAT I PAID FOR. CHEAP ISN'T THE BEST WAY TO GO.

Emerald Green Of Bradenton charged me a very fair price. They are dependable, reliable and are true to their word.

Overall we are happy with the plant choices and mulch. We've asked them to install more plants in the back and continue maintaining the bushes.

Very polite and accommodating and clear on the phone. They would try to fit me in on a few different dates if they finished a large job early, otherwise they would come in about two weeks, which was fine. However they showed up on a day when I was not expecting them and when no one had called ahead. It was fine with me however. I just wanted the shrubs trimmed, and some shoots removed by the trunk of an oak tree. They said, "that's what they do." Three men were here instead of two; they were very fast; they seemed knowledgeable about the shrubs; and they finished in an hour and took away all of the trimming debris. They forgot the shoots that I wanted removed. They mowed the lawn, which I didn't want; and they did not remove weeds which I assumed they would do, but I did not ask for. I fault myself for this. They are very nice and very efficient and they do know what they are doing. However, I feel that I was an extremely small job for them and that they were in a hurry to end their day. I would consider Emerald Green of Bradenton for a large property to be cared for efficiently and professionally.

Overall the service exceeded my expectations!! After recently moving to the area, I chose the first lawn serice to knock on my door since I was overwhelmed with unpacking. Needless to say, my lawn suffered for a couple of months. After admiring Emerald Green work in the neighborhood, I finally made the switch in October. They were right over and worked on the yard for almost 4 hours.........and boy did it need it. The company is family owned so you get a personal feeling when talking to the owners however the service is that of a big company. The workers take pride in their work and offer improvement information for your lawn and garden. The only regret is that I did not hire them earlier. I already have plans to let Emarald do an overhaul on my Garden. Their quality of work is an example for the other lawn services to follow. Mark

Service commenced March 2011. We have St. Augustine grass and requested that it be mowed to a height of 5". We were told that the mower was set up on a transit setting for 4-1/2 inches. We put a rule to the grass and found that they were cutting at a 3" height which can burn the grass and did in patches. We tried to work with them, however, the comment was the mower was set for 4-1/2 inches and there was nothing they would do about it.
