Very prompt, professional and courteous

Very polite, professional and prompt. He had it fixed within 30 minutes. We are very happy with his work and would recommend him to our family and friends.

Dorrant was great; he answered the phone immediately and fit me in for an afternoon appointment. He actually met me at Home Depot, as he called from nearby to move up the appointment and came by to help me select the right product. Dorrant was prompt, professional, with very reasonable rates, reliable, a clean and very squared away worker. He provided me with a written estimate prior to starting the job, so there wouldn't be any surprises or disputes. Afterwards he emailed me my signed receipt for documentation and warranty purposes. It's his own company and I wish every vendor I worked with (in my work and personal lives) were as dependable, polite and professional as Dorrant was. I made him give me a bunch of business cards to pass out to family and friends and I will definitely call him for future business. He was truly impressive (can you tell?).

We bought a house on which NONE of the locks worked and the driveway gate didn't work. We didn't even get keys at the settlement! Dorrant came to the house and was amazing. He adjusted a couple of the doors so they would close properly, added temporary locks for the doors that didn't have any working handles and made keys for all the doors. He then offered to get matching handles, exactly what I wanted and installed them in two days. He then went to work on the gate. We were told (by another contractor) that it needed a new housing that would take at least a couple of weeks to order. Dorrant went out there and fixed it in just a couple of hours! He made us an extra remote so now we can have one in the car and the house, and he told me how to sync more remotes for our other cars so we wouldn't have to call him out to do it. We will be talking to him about additional security systems for the house. He has gone above and beyond the call of duty! He has single-handedly restored our faith in contractors !

He was terrific and came out on a Sunday. It is a small company and he has a custom-made van which is very high tech so he does everything right on the premises; it is actually very sophisticated. It is his own business, that's why the customer service is really good. His price was very reasonable.

Single man job. He is a really great guy. Always does a good job. He is very honest too.

Arrived a little late talked him to address by cell as he could not locate the address. Very personable. Accomplished work and would mail keys for lowere lock as had no blanks. Week later never received keys. He came again and rekeyed again. I was surprised at the overall cost.

I used the email provided on angies list to contact the company. Mr. Durrant responded promptly and was able to give me an estimate. We were able to set up a next day appointment. Mr Durrant was the technician. He called ahead of schedule to let me know he was on the way and would arrive as scheduled. When he arrived, it was raining, but he still performed the job in the rain! He was very nice, extremely professional, and I would definantly use them again!

It has been wonderful. My husband felt like the cost was very reasonable, they came on time, and did a great job.

I didn't end up hiring them because the safe is the kind that no locksmith can open because the company that manufactures the safe is no longer in operation and no locksmith had the tools to open it. They were very professional and polite on the phone and tried to help us out but didn't waste our time.

The business owner/installer installed a great quality lock, did it efficiently and cleanly, gave me all the information I would ever need for key copies, and took time to caulk around the new lock to improve its appearance on my front door. He was good at explaining different types of locks and the advantages of the one I ultimately chose.

He was a real nice guy. He went to Westpoint and played football. You can always tell if someone is really honest, and he definitely was.

I called and left a message. A little while later, Durrant called me back...from Jamaica. We arranged for him to come to the house to make new keys. He was willing to do whatever it took to get me my keys, including offering to come to the house at 6:30 AM. He worked to make new keys. The locks were theoretically identical. But he had to work extra to make sure that the keys worked in both locks. He was excellent. Plus his dedication to his work is extremely admirable. He arranged to do the work in a difficult situation. I would highly recommend him. This is the second time I have used his services and I would not hesitate to call him again.

everythingAlockmedic answered my call on a Sunday. We set up an appointment for Monday between 11:00 - 1:00. Dorrant said he would call to let me know when he was on his way. He called at 12:15 & arrived at 12:25. He was very professional and has a positive attitude.I told him that I would like to have him change two deadbolts and two doorknobs on two outside doors on two houses, if the estimate was acceptable. It was .He does excellent work. Very neat, clean & precise!!! I would definitely call this Co. again, as well as refer them.This was the ONLY repair work that I have had done in Florida that I was COMPLETELY happy with!!!! And I've lived here 7 years!!

They were so good. The locks were expensive but these were the top of the line locks. The owner was nice and respectful.

Dorrant is awesome!! His overall professionalism and demanor is excellent. He is super friendly, accomodating and eager to work. He was late to appt a couple hours but apologized greatly because he had an earlier appt that ran overtime.. His service is well worth the wait! We also added on a few items that he didnt originally come for and was willing to do them without a problem. He was going to deadbolt the sliding doors and noticed a wheel missing on the track. He suggested to fix before installing lock and he said he can fix it for us..we were so impressed. He will be coming back again to do more work for us and I highly recommend him for any lock or security related needs.

To say that we recommend this gentlemen is an understatement. We INSIST that you call Dorrant and ALockMedic! You will not be disappointed. Not only is he a master of his craft, but he is courteous and friendly. He ensures customer satisfaction with his attention to detail. He QUICKLY returns phone calls and is in constant communication. If he is going to be late, he calls and keeps you informed. He called and apologized for pushing back the time as his prior appt requested additional work, but was still on time as originally scheduled and even ended up doing an unscheduled door for us. It is his business, and he takes pride in the quality of work and customer satisfaction that he provides. If every company treated their clients the way he does there would not be an need for a customer service/complaint department.

I have a 3 1/2 year old daughter who learned how to unlock the deadbolt and open the front door so I needed to add a lock that she could not reach. I sent Dorrant an email through his website and he contacted me later the same day. I explained my need and he quoted me a price and explained the process. When he came to my home to add the lock he was extremely polite and added the lock without any issues - which is amazing because my daughter was doing her best to distract him! He is professional and completes the work quickly. I will definately recommend him to my friends and use him again!
