It was a great experience from start to finish. He had what I needed in stock. Was able to come immediately to install. He charge exactly the estimate from over the phone. He was kind, curteous and a pleasure to deal with. I would reccommend him to all.

DORRANT WAS AWESOME. HE WAS FAIR PRICED, HONEST, AND AN EXPERT IN HIS FIELD. THE BEST LOCKSMITH I HAVE EVER USED. HE WAS VERY NEAT AND CAREFUL UPON THE INSTALLATION OF THE NEW DEADBOLT AS WELL AS THE REMOVAL OF ALL THE OTHER LOCKS WHEN HE RE-KEYED THEM. DORRANT WOULD BE THE BEST CHOICE ANYONE COULD MAKE IF YOU NEED A LOCKSMITH. HE ALSO EXPLAINED EVERYTHING HE WAS DOING AND TOOK THE TIME TO MAKE SURE ALL TEN KEYS WORKED IN ALL THE LOCKS. I WILL BE CALLING UPON HIM AGAIN AND I WILL RECOMMEND HIM TO ALL OF MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY. I WAS TOTALLY IMPRESSED WITH HIS PROFESSIONALISM AS WELL AS HIS WORK ETHIC. I AM PRETTY CRITICAL OF WORK DONE IN MY HOME AND A BIT OF A PERFECTIONIST SO IF HE CAN MAKE US HAPPY HE HAS DONE AN EXPERT JOB.

Quite nice... what a great relief. I had signed up with your company on that day. Apprehensive as to what i might have been getting myself into. I have an Historic home and have had more than my share of interesting characters. Dorrant was polite, professional and extremely courteous. He did his job with out any assistance from me (micro-managing). I'm not really used to that... it's nice for a change!

Dorantt was a little late and called to let us know. That alone is impressive. He was quite professional, had good security suggestions and was very knowledgeable about his products. He gave a well informed explanation about why he thought certain locks would do better than others. He finished in a very timely manner, leaving everything neat and clean.

For my condo I needed a new mailbox key fast because the condo would soon have a new tenant. After checking Angie's List, I called Alockmedic (Boynton Beach FL) and spoke with Durrant. He was exceptionally courteous and helpful. As it turned out he came to my rescue around 8PM that same day. And even though I could not personally be there, Durrant completely solved my problem, and let me pay him by phone.

It is really great to deal with the owner, Dorrant answered the phone and committed to be at our showroom within the hour. He was on time, did the work and was very professional. I would recommend him to anyone. GREAT JOB!

Dorrant answered my call and was able to finish another job and get to my home within about an hour and a half. We had an older front door lockset, from when the house was built, but the daughter of the former owners (estate sale) did not have keys to it. We'd been using the garage door and a lockset inbetween the garage and the house, but were tired of going through the garage all the time. Dorrant was able to come out and re-key our existing lockset (changing it so old keys, if they exist, will not work) with 3 new keys for $85 (including putting the lock which we had pulled apart back together). For an extra $5 he gave us an extra 2 keys for a total of 5 keys. I didn't shop his price, but in my recent experience (except with Angies List providers) you have to pay most tradesmen $75 minimum just to show up. I have also paid $120 - $150 for other locksmiths to get into locked things--so $90 seemed reasonable if not cheap.

Dorrant showed up on time and went to work right away. He provided us with a new lock for the mailbox and 2 keys. He was very professional and a few neighbors stopped by to get is information. We were very impressed with him.

The project went great. A Lock Medic listened to my concerns and needs. They put together an action plan and gave me an estimate. The work was performed perfectly.

The service was A++. We need to install a second deadbolt on our front door because our daughter is now old/tall enough to reach the thumb turn on the original deadbolt. So for our piece of mind and added security, we decided to have a second double cylinder deadbolt installed. I did my research on Angie's list and there were so many mixed reviews about most of the locksmiths that were listed. I came across Alockmedic Locksmiths and decided to give Dorrant a call. The best experience I have ever had, hands down, with any kind of service/contractor. My initial impressions were solid as he was extremely polite and very knowledgeable when I spoke to Dorrant on the phone. I had certain questions about the types of locks I was considering and he gave me very thorough descriptions and suggestions. Dorrant showed up on time and was just as polite and friendly in person as he was on the phone. He performed the work and answered more questions that I had as he worked on the door/lock, without any hesitation. Again, extremely knowledgeable in his field. When he finished with the installation, he made sure that all of the saw dust and packaging was vacuumed and picked up from the premises. He was also very meticulous in his work, making sure to use the right tools for certain areas so that no damage was done to the door. Lastly, he went above and beyond by taking care of the strike plates that were installed from the previous owners, which did not allow the door to close properly. Now, they close without any problems whatsoever. I would highly recommend Dorrant to anyone who needs a locksmith. In fact, He originally had given me two of his business cards for to hand out to others, but I asked him for about ten which I have already given out to family and friends. Since I was purchasing a new home, the first person I always call is a locksmith. I contacted Alockmedic through Angie's list and received a quick response. The appointment was scheduled and Dorrant was on time to change the locks. Dorrant also suggested an upgrade to the builder's lock to increase protection by recommending MEDCO locks. This appointment was scheduled for the following week.

He let me know the prices options and the benefits of the different options. He then let me know his recommendation. His recommendation was what I was actually looking for. I got in touch with him through his high ratings on Angie’s List. Everything I read was backed up with my experience. He isn’t the cheapest, but he comes up with quality solutions. He is well worth the price. The value was absolutely there. The technician who came out was the owner. He did a very efficient, professional job and he had attention to detail.

A ONE service, A ONE professional, I would highly recommend using this company before trying any others. I found ALock Medic after a bad experience on the phone with another company who were rude and arrogant (also found them on Angie's list). Dorrant answered the phone right away and was so pleasant, explaining what he could do for my problem and offered to come over in the early evening after another job he was doing. What a fantastic experience with him. He is professional, friendly, certainly knows his field, was very honest when I asked his opinion about another lock (he told me it's okay and he wouldn't switch it out) and in my opinion, well priced. I hope to spread the word about his wonderful service to my neighbors. I am really happy to have found such a wonderful company.

Dorrant was prompt, courteous, friendly and highly professional. He repaired a broken door latch in the morning. When I asked him about other services he could provide and I discovered that he could install a garage opener keypad, we agreed that he would come back later in the day for that service. Once again, he was prompt and finished the installation in a very short time. He was very patient in explaining how it works and offered telephone assistance if I ever had any questions. Dorrant is someone I would recommend to anyone and if he cannot get to you immediately, it is worth the wait. I have already told my neighbors about him and would recommend him with no reservations.

I am so so glad to have found this wonderful professional. He followed up immediately, as opposed to the other two locksmiths I reached out and left messages. He called in advance to let me know his time of arrival. He advised me as a new home owner on various issues relating to my doors and security, and even helped me with an issue I had not thought about. Would I call him again? Absolutely. With a military/paramedic/fireman background, this guy is the ultimate professional and his high-level work ethic shows in every one of his actions.

Was a little late showing up but not bad really. Was great to work with, very professional, knew just what to do and did it for a great price. I would not trust anyone else to work on my 1971 Grand Sport. He did a A-1 job I would not use anyone else

Dorrant is a true professional, which is quite rare in this day and age. He arrived as scheduled in one of the most modern and organized vans that meets his needs. Got a reasonable quote which I accepted. He told me that it would be around 2pm. He gave me a call right before he was coming giving me a 30 minute heads up. Came and made sure the car belonged to me. He performed the job and the key works. He also gave me a backup key which was really nice.

The guys were very good and did not have to be here very long. It was less expensive than I was expecting.
