I called Dorrant to re-key a lock. While he couldn't quote an exact price, he gave me a range of prices that it should be in. He called to confirm our appointment, called again when he was on his way, showed up on time and could not have been nicer. I highly recommend him.

It was a difficult installation which I had tried to do myself. The installer was very professional, polite and courteous. We were pleased with end result and the installer's professionalism.

He was excellent and was very personable. He was here within the time that he was supposed to arrive. He explained that he may not be able to do what I needed him to do, but he said he would take the lock to his truck and work with what we had. I was very happy with what he did because I was able to avoid any issues with the Home owners Association. I was very grateful.

I contacted this company on the strength of the excellent reviews on Angie's List. I was extremely pleased in every respect. The locksmith was punctual, polite, professionally groomed and dressed, and drives a well maintained service van. When I described the service I wanted on the phone, he provided an estimate and his bill remained within that estimate, even though some locks were non-standard. No surprises! All the work was done onsite and was completed within an hour. The locksmith also waited until I confirmed that every key worked and that I was fully satisfied. I highly recommend this company and would contact them first in the future.

We saw great reviews on Angie's List so i gave Dorrant a call. He was very professional and responsive and came over that same day to perform the service. He was here for 2-3 hours and needed to find a work around to an issue we had where one cylinder was not the same as the others, but we only wanted one key for all. Throughout the process he was proactive and professional and very nice to deal with. He charged a fair price and did the job very well. I would highly recommend him and would definitely use him again.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It turned out great. They came out about 6 hours after I purchased the deal. There were additional charges because we bought a lock set from them. They were great.

He was excellent. He's neat and courteous. He showed up and told us everything he's gonna do. I would recommend him to anyone.

I was able to obtain much needed service within an hour of my phone call. Dorrant repaired the deadbolt and made the door more secure. He went out of his way to fix the damage to another door and gave me advice on how to secure the garage door. He was polite, professional, and provided comfort with his advice on improving security around my home.

The owner was not only prompt but gave good advice on the need for additional locks and the condition of the locks in our new house. He was extremely polite and knowledgeable. He did the work quickly and quite professionally. He made sure the locks were all working properly and even adjusted them to make sure that their operation was smooth. He did not try to up sell me and on the contrary just gave good sound advise on security issues. I change my keys every few years to make sure of the security of my home and will definitely use this provider again.

Services were performed exactly as described. He was on time and performed the work.

I spoke with Dorrant about a week prior to the date I wanted the service. We agreed on a date and time. On the day of the service he called to let me know he was on the way. He looked at the locks that needed work and advised me one lock was a double dead bolt and there would be a additional charge. He then went to work. Within about 30-45 minutes he was done and reinstalled the locks and made additional keys. He was very polite and professional. I would recommend and use his services again.

We started with some initial misunderstanding as to what work was required and consequently the price seemed excessive. Once we identified exactly what work was required the price made more sense to us and he completed the work then very professionally. We would use his services again for sure.

Very professional, on time and courteous. Job well done. Dorrant explained how every thing would work. He re-touched the paint on the front door and left the premises very clean. I really liked that my keys are both the same for the front and back door. Would definitely recommend them.

I thought customer service was gone, especially here in Florida, but I was wrong, Dorrant was amazing! He was professional, kind, honest, and a perfectionist! He takes extreme pride in his workmanship and his company, and that shows. I needed my home rekeyed, and I was hoping to have new hardware for my front door one day, but I never went out to purchase it. Dorrant came to my home for the estimate, I told him I wanted new hardware and he asked me what i wanted, he then went to the store, emailed me pictures, and purchased the hardware for me at a better price than I could get. He came back that afternoon and installed everything. He also cleaned up everything and even left my home cleaner than when he got here!! WOW!! Within and hour of leaving my home yesterday, I gave his card to my family and they are calling him today! If you need a locksmith. call Dorrant. I obviously give him the highest rating possible, and I now know why he has 148 positive reviews.

This is my 2nd time using Dorrant's services. I used him at my property in the historical area of WPB. Kept a mental note as to how professional & polite he was. Just moved into a property temp/for my home restoration. Called Dorrant again to change out locks on leased property. He is a very professional & genuine individual. After changing out what I had called for. I asked @ a good place to hide a key. He gave me his opinion. Just like a big brother would do. I decided to go with a keyless garage door opener. He had already had his sched full on that day. However, made time for me at the end of his day. Kept his word & returned to install the garage opener @ 8:30p- It's rare that someone follows through with their promise. He is professional, honest and a pleasure. I would highly recommend Dorrant!

Cannot say enough positive things about Dorrant's service. He was on time (even gave me a call when he was on his way), very professional, honest (didn't try to sell me stuff I didn't neet) etc. Would use him again in a heartbeat.

Mr. Mowatt is a really, really nice guy and I can't recommend his services enough. He was incredibly punctual, arriving at the property way before we did ourselves. He was very patient with us as we had to finish up with the tenant first. He was in no hurry at all when in discussions with us and gave us his complete attention, explained everything clearly and thoroughly and gave us different options, answered any and every question we had and did not pressure us in to buying more expensive products. He was very polite and professionally presented and completed the work efficiently and to a high standard. I would strongly recommend Mr. Mowatt for any of the services he provides. There are other locksmiths on Angie's List with good reviews but we will be sticking with Mr. Mowatt for any future lock needs and whenever I over hear someone mention requiring a locksmith I won't hesitate to jump in and offer his contact details.
