I called prior to buying an electric lock for my front door. Dorrat answered the phone and I told him what I needed. He took my information down and said he would email me a list of suggested items to me that afternoon or "at the latest tomorrow morning". I'm still waiting. In the meantime, I ordered the same lock a friend of mine has from Home Depot (on a really good sale), received it and had Thanks A Lock (Boca Raton) install it. The service call price Dorrat quoted me was $65.00. Thanks A Lock charged $69.00 + their hourly rate and showed up within an hour of my call. I do not recommend Alockmedic Locksmiths.

They were very responsive and executed this service call quickly. My wife and I were not only pleased with their work, but also their professionalism. We will use them again.

The installer was punctual, very pleasant and answered all our questions regarding the installation in a thorough and courteous manner. All the locks work well and there have been no problems whatsoever.

Dorrant the owner came to my house in a very prompt time to help secure my home due to a broken front door lock. When he came he showed me what the problem was and discussed the options and prices to fix the situation. I could tell by his workmanship in diagnosis of the problem, he knew his trade and was very thorough and tidy. He temporarily fix my lock so I could secure my house which was very relieving .He ordered the new door handle & lock which came within days. He changed this front handle/lock rekeyed my laundry room lock so I could use the same key for both doors. and made extra keys free of charge. Dorrant from Alocksmedic Locksmtihs was one of the most professional and friendliness craft person I ever met. Angie's list was 100% to give Alocksmedic Locksmiths an A rating.

I'm not sure I can outdo the comments and remarks of everyone else here who has had the pleasure of doing business with Durrant. What an incredible work ethic!! What a pleasant, likeable, honest and talented professional he is. Called the same day and Durrant came to the residence to change/rekey locks. Right on time. His work was perfectly executed and he is efficient as well, all the while being the most pleasant person you could ask to meet. If you look at the review for Durrant that appears directly before mine, that person was the next job that Durrant went to, after leaving my home at 7 pm on a Friday evening. And his prices were more than fair. A wonderful experience and I found him on Angies List. The system works.

Darrett was unbelievable. I called at 4 in the afternoon. Told him there was no emergency. He said he had 2 stops before me and would be there at 8:05. He was 5 minutes late. LOL Who comes at 8PM at night and he honored the discounted price from Angies List . This kind of service and work ethic is just unheard of today. If you need his service don't hesitate . You will be so pleasantly surprised.

Dorrant was awesome! He was in the area when I called him and he was able to come to our location in approximately 10 minutes! He was extremely professional and did a great job. I would highly recommend this company!

Durrant was excellent. He showed up EARLY (the first time I've ever had a service call that showed up early, or even on time). Durrant is incredibly friendly and immediately makes you trust him. His work was efficient and reliable. Durrant came highly recommended, and I would highly recommend him as well.

I called Alockmedic on a Wednesday, left a message and within the hour Dorrant returned my call. After I explained my situation, Dorrant was very professional and courteous as he explained what he could do. He described in detail the different types of locks that were best suited for pool gates. I asked for written bids and he emailed them within the hour. I asked for changes to be made on one of the bids and Dorrant emailed the changes in less than an hour. We set up a time and date for the Friday of the same week and he arrived promptly. He again took the time to explain what he was going to do to make sure it was what I wanted. Dorrant is easy going, friendly and very knowledgeable about his profession. The pool lock is perfect. I highly recommend Dorrant and his company.

I called late that morning. Dorian said he could stop by on his way to another job. He was here the same day. He kept me advised of his anticipated arrival time. He fixed the keys and locks in his mobile unit in no time flat. A very professional, nice and courteous man. I would definitely recommend.

Fixed Medeco Lock that was not working on inside with Key. Fixed/tightened lock below. Explained and Educated as he was fixing. Dorrant was friendly, respectful, professional and efficient. Would hire again and will refer out.

Everything went very smoothly. The locksmith was able to open a difficult old safe model quickly and change out my deadbolt. He is most professional and knows exactly what he can do and can't do. We had used Dormant to rekey our locks when we moved in. The other day we noticed that the front door was not closing properly and leaving a gap at the top and bottom. Based on the great service and professionalism of Dormant, we called him. He came the same day even though it was after hours. He diagnosed the problem, got the right tools to fix it and fixed it. Now the door closes properly. He is such a pleasure to work with, I know that we won't use anyone else if we have any future lock or door issues. It is great to find someone as professional and skillful as Dormant.

Dorrant sent me a quote with a list of the items/tasks that I wanted him to perform. Therefore, everything was clearly stated on paper. He was on time. Did exactly what I asked him to do. He also cleaned up the mess after he finished the work. He charged me exactly what was stated on the quote. Although he was not the cheapest, I decided to go with him due to his way of doing business. Overall, I am pleased with his service and professionalism.
