After reading the reviews about Alockmedic, I called the company. From the moment I spoke to Dorrant ,I understood why this company had achieved such a high rating. From start to finish with all the details along the way, if I could give a higher rating than an A or 10, I would.

The services I received from Dorrant were excellent. I was in the process of moving into a new home and previous owner had not yet finished his move. I had an appointment with Dorrant with the understanding that I would have possession of the home prior to the appointment. Because the previous owner needed a little more time, I was not comfortable having Dorrant re-keying all of the locks while he was still present. Dorrant was so understanding and flexible and after the owners had left, he was able to come to my home within 30 minutes of my call. This gave me such peace of mind knowing that I was able to secure my new home on the day I took possession of it. Dorrant was very professional and was quick to work on all of the locks in the house. In only a short time, he had re-keyed all of the locks and double checked all of the keys to ensure they worked in all of the locks. I would strongly recommend Dorrant and will definitely use his services should I need them again.

What a pleasure it was to work with Dorrant. From the minute I called until the job was complete, he was extremely professional. He arrived very quickly and had the locks changed in no time. I would highly recommend his company and would not hesitate to recommend it to family and friends.

I was a bit skeptical that Dorrant could live up to the reviews on Angie's list. However, he exceeded my expectations. He is a true professional and brings a high standard to the locksmith industry. He was punctual, polite and provided excellent customer service. He is more like a doctor of locks than a locksmith. He actually did more than he promised to do. The prior owners of our home installed very expensive hurricane proof doors, with vertical locking bolts. Dorrant discovered that the bolts were not properly engaging the latch because the bolt holes were not in the correct place. Dorrant drilled new holes (at no charge) so that the doors would properly function. We would never had known that the doors were not properly functioning, and Dorrant could have very easily ignored the issue.

Dorrant was simply awesome! Very friendly and professional from the moment he first answered the phone. Same day service inside of a couple of hours (that's all I needed), and he did everything as promised and more. He wanted to be sure I was happy and that everything was tested and working properly and he went above and beyond with providing extras. I would highly recommend him and Alockmedic to anyone who needs a locksmith and although I'd love to think I won't have any needs soon, I have no doubt that when I do have a need once again, I will be calling him without hesitation. The best locksmith! I will definitely use them again. They were on time, friendly, and professional. They took their time to properly install our locks and I also like that they can make keys on the spot in the truck.

The lock wasn't broke, it was the front door handle-set that was stuck. I could not get into the house even after unlocking the door! Alockmedic took care of it quickly and efficiently. They were very, very nice gentlemen too. Already told my friends if they need a locksmith, I know the right guy(s)!

I needed a deadbolt fixed on my rental unit. They were out the next day, and suggested repairing the existing one rather than replacing. It was done as part of the deal I purchased with a $15 charge for a part needed. I was very pleased with their responsiveness and quality work.

The business owner, Dorrant, was incredibly responsive to my request for a service call. He responded to me the same day and the matter was handled professionally and courteously in a fashion that I am not used to when dealing with local service providers. It mattered to Dorrant that the job was done correctly and to the customer's satisfaction. His van was fully equipped and he obviously could handle anything from a tiny run of the mill problem to probably safe proofing the Vatican. However, I would be remiss if I did not also comment on his personal skills in addition to his professional expertise. His professionalism is of the highest caliber. That goes without saying. What the added bonus is when dealing directly with Dorrant is his human and caring personality. This man gets it right. Service providers are MORE than technicians...they become trusted advisers and reliable partners in maintaining our life pathways. I do not make this statement lightly. Dorrant instills a sense of caring professionalism that is rarely experienced is the world of "hustle bustle get the job done and let me get the h*** out of here" tradesmen. Do not hesitate to call upon and rely upon Dorrant. You will not be disappointed. You WILL be satisfied and reassured of your safety and well being because of his skills and because you have met a caring professional. I called late in the day to arrange to have the locks rekeyed the following day. Dorrant said that he could do it the same day and I was thrilled. He arrived and rekeyed both locks within a couple of hours. Dorrant is extraordinarily polite and professional and I can easily see why they have so many positive reviews. If you need lock work done, do not hesitate to call Alockmedic.

Dorrant, was one of the most polite, professional contractors I have ever dealt with. He was on time, actually a little early, and very, very professional. I had checked on prices before choosing him and by far he was the best priced; not because he cuts corners, he goes above and beyond. The work was perfect. He was very polite, his work truck is stocked with anything you would need to do the job. He was a lot less in cost than the other lock companys I called, but not because he uses a cheaper lock or cuts corners doing the work. As a matter of fact, his work and I don't say this lightly, was perfect. He had reshaped some of the door jams to make the new Medeco locks fit correctly and he did it with such precision. All I can say is, please call around, get prices and I'm sure Dorrant is less, but his work is SUPERIOR, you will not be disappointed. As a matter of fact, I am willing to say if you are not satisfied, I will pay to have it corrected. He is that good. You can't find a better, more professional contractor than Dorrant. The 3 doors he did for us work perfectly, never mind, they are the best locks you can buy, they are not cheap, but it's what we wanted. I'm sure he will put anything you want on your door. I just can't say enough about him as a person and his quality of work. I would recommend Dorrant, you will not be disappointed with him or his work. Dorrant, sorry for the late post, as you know, we just moved into our new home and have been trying to get things in order.
