Steve was awesome!!! Came out and gave an estimate, and was totally in agreement when I said I wanted to get quotes from other companies as well. After contacting two other companies, I found that Florida Garage Door's pricing was in line with the other companies. I actually had dealings with Florida Door Company in the past at my job as a purchasing agent and they did repairs for me on loading dock doors, so I was familiar with their work, and I knew that they had the proper insurance to perform the work I needed. They secured the necessary permits and even arranged for the inspector to come out to inspect the door the next day. The job went extremely well, and passed inspection with no problems. The new door looks great!! I would definitely recommend them for replacement and repairs and would use them again without hesitation.

Provider was responsive and communicated when he would be there. He showed up on time and did a thorough job. He took the time to explain exactly how the system worked and the pros, cons, and service life of the system I have. He did a great job of preventive maintenance and did not try to sell me on a system I don't need yet. My garage door is about 15 years old and he pointed out what to look for in terms of wear. All in all a great job. When my system does need replacing or repairing, which all mechanical things will at some point, I will not hesitate to call these guys.

Steve was easy to work with and his crew did a great job. They handled obtaining the permit. They showed up when they said they would and did a good job of cleaning up after they were done. Chris from Florida Garage Door Company was friendly, prompt and professional. He called and confirmed an accurate arrival time, then met me at my home within my narrow availability window. He then took his time in educating me about my garage door, never being condescending - he was just a friendly guy helping a fellow guy understand something new. His knowledge was amazing - top of his game. He diagnosed the problem at a glance, offered two different solutions, and ultimately offered to do more than I expected. He needed a part and I had to return to work, so we agreed he would come back and finish without me being present. He called back within the hour to inform me he had returned and the work was underway. Shortly after that, another call to confirm completion and handle payment. When I got home, the door was not only functional again, but operated more smoothly and quietly than ever before. It's like a new door and Chris confirmed it would hold up for years. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and to recommend Florida Garage Door Company to anyone. They are the benchmark against which other service companies should be measured.

My garage door wouldn't close. Called Florida Garage Door Company, and though they weren't able to come out that day due to scheduling, they provided advice on how to manually close the door until they could assess the issue the following day. By the time they came out, the door was functioning properly again, but they still provided a standard tune-up, which was surely needed. Very nice, professional company. Will definitely continue using their services.

This was the 2nd time I called Florida Garage Door Co. for service and the results were the same: excellent! Earlier in the year I needed a new opener and it was installed very well. At that time I knew I would soon also need a new garage door. We had recently moved into this residence and the garage door was the original door - 25 years old. It did not meet hurricane code and began to fail by getting stuck and not allowing full closure. Steve sent Chris out again to check out the problem. Chris said he could attempt to smooth the problem but it would only be a temporary fix. He showed me the details of what was causing the problem. I decided to replace the door rather than having to call for service every several months. Chris explained the process and described the alternatives. He also explained in detail the extra work they would door to more securely install the new door to meet/exceed code. I decided to take his recommendation on which manufacturer to use. He did some measurements and told me Steve would get in touch with me to arrange the proper permitting. Steve called and scheduled a convenient time. He showed up on time, took final measurements, had me sign the permit forms. The price he gave me was the same as the price Chris quoted. He arranged all the permitting, I didn't have to do anything. The replacement work was scheduled and he gave me an estimate, the same as the estimate Chris had given me earlier; and, gave me an estimate of how long the job would take. Chris and another installer arrived on time again to begin the job. Shortly thereafter Steve showed up with all the permit papers. The installation was completed within the time estimate given me. I also saw how well the new door was installed with many new heavy bolts right into the masonry - that door wasn't going anywhere! The job was completed and they cleaned up the garage even better than how it was before they started the job. The job went well. The repairman responded and quickly began adjusting my garage door that was definitely out of balance. He lubricated all of the appropriate spots and proceeded to change each roller as requested. I had already purchased a set of rollers from Amazon that were high quality and the service man had no issues using them. I'm very pleased with how quiet my door is now and it no longer slams down hard. Although I learned a few trade secrets during his visit, I plan on using them again in the future when the time comes.

Since I have a very busy schedule, i appreciated the punctuality of Steve and his assistant. He fitted me in his schedule on the same day. He knew immediately what was wrong with my door, replaced the sprints really fast and door is working again. A really professional team!

The appointment started off well with the repairman arriving on time. He got right to work and replaced the wheels and lubricated all moving parts. He replaced the rubber strip on the bottom of the door. After all the work was completed and the work site completed cleaned up of all parts and materials, he asked me to check it out by opening the garage door and closing. He explained that the sound would be different that the one I heard previously. Operation of door was smooth. My door opener is old and that is a bit noisy but he told me it was in good shape and should last a few more years. I am confident now that the door is operating as it should and that if I need a repair that Florida Garage Door company is the company to call. Honest, professional, punctual and fairly priced. What more can one ask?

It was marvelous. I had called another garage door company and they said I would have to get a whole new garage door, or it would cost $900 to fix my current one. Florida Garage Door Company sent one guy who was able to get it fixed in one hour. It was a great service.

First Steve came out and gave them an estimate. His estimate was very fair and they felt his company would be the best to go with out of the estimates they received and the fact they did like dealing with him. He knew his products and reviewed them with my son. Work was scheduled for March 7, 2015 and they (Eddie and Robert) arrived on time. They were great workers according to my son! Work went well and my son was very happy with the outcome. Original price would have been $1,400.00 for white door but they went with the "wood look" door which was $300.00 more but it was well worth it as it looks great. They are very happy with the garage door. It was a very good experience and they will use them again (if and when) any adjustments or repairs are needed. Update: 9/5/2015 Had new LiftMaster garage door opener installed. Robert arrived and installed it without any problems. The installation went smoothly. Cost was $440.00. Garage opener has MyQ and it works very well.

At about 2:30 today, I heard the garage door spring pop. I called Florida Garage Door Company at 2:45 and they had someone here to fix it by 5:00p. The gentleman was very professional and had me up and running in about a half hour. After curiously looking at what a spring repair typically costs, I was very happy with the $140. I will definitely be using this company again (hopefully not too soon) in the future.

I called and spoke to Steve on Friday afternoon. I explained I needed my garage door opener replace. I had purchased one already so I just needed it installed. He said he could do it the next day. He would be at my house between noon and 2 pm. He said they would call me with an exact time on Saturday. I received at call from the tech at 12:45 telling me he would be at my house at 2 pm . He arrived on time, was very nice and professional. When we replace our garage door we will definitely be calling them.

Contacted company on March 29th. They said that they would contact their Palm Beach guy. Ten minutes later they called back and said the guy wasn't answering his page. I told them to give me a call when this could be done. I finally called them on Thursday April 2 they apologized and said the repair guy would be there Saturday. At 9:15 I got a phone call from the repairman who said he would be there by 10. He looked at the door and said that the drums and cables would have to be replaced and he wouldn't be able to tell me anything else till those were replaced. Took a half hour and he lubricated the track and the door was operational. Honest and helpful.

In December I had the sensors replaced on my garage door for a reasonable $125. Today I called telling them I was having the same issue as earlier, and they came right away and replaced the sensors with a better model for free! Really great service. Recommend them A+++

I made many phone calls to have them follow through getting permit,Also getting job started.The contractor never followed through with getting the final inspection from the city of Weston.

They were good. You had to wait your turn for your garage door, but they have good prices. I was a general contractor, and these guys were good. They did a good job with all the paperwork.

They did not try to upsell me anything, in fact when I asked about something else I might need they told me I did not. I appreciate that. I believe the guys name was Chris. He was nice and friendly. They charged me 50 bucks and said it would be $390 for a new one. For an estimate, they shouldn't even charge you. Everybody gives you a free estimate. It was okay. I expected them all to be professional and courteous. The price wasn't fixable.

Scheduled repair with this company the day before service. Robert was my repairman. He called before the appointment, arrived on time and was very pleasant and professional. He was able to figure out the problem and fix it within a half hour. Pricing was very fair and I would recommend this company.
