I wanted to take a moment to tell you how happy my wife and I were with the services of Florida Garage Door Company ( in Boca Raton) . The company is first rate as they did everything exactly as promised. The Hurricane Proof Garage door they installed on my house in Valencia Shores looks beautiful, it opens and closes so quietly, and it is so much stronger than the one that was replaced (which was not hurricane proof). The installers were great and it took them only a few hours to do the job. They showed up on time and did everything perfectly. It passed inspection by the county on the first try. We would highly recommend them as they are honest, dependable, hard-working, and did everything they promised to do. You would not be disappointed. Their prices were competitive and they offered the very latest in products. Highly recommend!

Excellent service. Called about 9:15 AM on the 20th. Rep said they could fix spring same day, before noon. And, they did! Jake was the service man. Knowledgeable, friendly, efficient. Answered my questions. Did the whole thing in less than an hour.

They did great job, were done quickly and even came back within a few hours to check when I thought (incorrectly) that I had a problem. They were really helpful with helping me pick the right door for my community - ended up getting a great door made by DAB and very happy with it. Would definately recommend this company - and have to my neighbors.

The guy who did the service was upfront about everything it needed and the cost. He was a super friendly, very professional and very polite. Even the guard dog liked him !

This is the second time we have used Florida Garage Door Company. We find them to be very friendly and professional. They responded the same day because we could not open our garage door at all. In a few hours the problem was resolved. Would highly recommend.

went perfect. I didn't understand the angies list coupon but they applied it toward the spring repair.. Repair guy had everything we needed in his truck. Very polite and professional.

This is great company with very professional installers. They were neat and very pleasant.

Overall, everything with the initial visit went well and the springs were fixed. They told us they would order the panels that needed to be replaced and would call us to let us know when they were ready. However, we did not hear back from them and so we called them to inquire about the panels. They told us the panels were no longer available because of the age of our door. Again, everything was fine except they did not contact us with an update which required us to finally call them.

I purchased a 99 dollar garage door maintenance. That was well and needed. I did however need some repairs. I was a little disappointed that when some repairs needed to be done, they were not willing to budge a bit on the price for that repair.

All went smoothly. I received a call confirming an appointment time. I received a call when the technician was 30 mins to arrive. The condition of my equipment. Recommendations and options were explained plainly. When I decided on what I wanted to have done,arrangements were once again made simple. The technician arrived promptly with a 30 minute call ahead. Preformed his work, instructed me on how to use the features. Last but not least the bill was exactly as stated, no surprises. I highly recommend this company

Just be aware of this service provider that is unfairly overpricing the garage doors to gain extra money when the garage doors here in Florida are all from the same few manufacturers. They should have the ability to do the service of installing doors if you buy them apart from them but they don't do that. Based on the starting point prices they gave me for garage doors and garage openers, they are overpricing the materials.

It was so, so. We really didn’t need it but I didn’t know at that time because it was relatively new but he didn’t tell me that. He was alright, nothing exceptional. He was just an average person. He could have been upfront with me that I really didn’t need it.

GREAT. Steve is one of the best mechanics who has worked at my home. My door malfunctioned at 5pm. I called his office n spoke to Sandy. She was very polite n an assets to his business. She called Steve n confirmed that he would arrive between 4pm-7pm. Steve arrived just b/4 7pm n completed the job ln one hour. He is professional, worked quickly n is very courteous. He made a complete repair, replaced rollers as needed, straightened railings, repaired cables, adjusted main spring n chain, n adjusted the electric lift motor n finally tested functions.

I can purchase a basic garage door opener for about $130 or a MyQ enabled opener for $160 and install it myself (I have installed at least 20 in my lifetime already for myself, friends and family). I did not shop around but I would think that the installation of a opener should not be ore that $100 - 150, but as my pain point is not having the time to secure and install a new opener in a timely fashion to meet my tenant's needs, I figured "opportunity cost" and pay ~$200 more and have a pro take away the burden on me and provide a turnkey solution. I chose this company due to their great Angies list rating, location to my rental home and the number of positive responses. Here's my experience: Called 3 numbers (2 on Angies list website and one via a web search), and all went to voicemail. Left message on the Palm Beach line and Sandy called back within a couple of hours. She explained the cost if a good Chamberlain 'workhorse' chain ($350) or belt driven ($400) opener and then if I wanted to add MyQ internet functionality, the prices would jump another $100 (for a model that has MyQ internet connectivity, battery backup, etc). I felt that a basic 1/2 hp chain drive would fit my needs so she offered to contact my tenant directly and arrange for a visit later in the day as they were already booked up (understandable). No issue thus far -- was willing to pay the price for convenience. I sent a text to my tenant to say that Sandy was going to call him directly and arrange a convenient day and time to come out -- he responded OK and was happy that there was a plan to get him fixed quickly. Around 6:30pm my tenant called saying that no one had contacted him. Sadly I cannot recommend this vendor based on my experience. Everyone has bad days but for the amount of money charged, I would have expected better response. If you have time and are willing to follow-up with a vendor that provides quality a service at top dollar prices then perhaps you will probably be a satisfied customer. p.s. To her credit, Sandy did call this morning and left a message apologizing for dropping the ball but I cant take a chance and will just rely on myself to get the job done later today.

/I am in the process of painting the house and need an expert opinion on the garage door before I paint over it. I called on a Saturday and surprised that someone picked up the phone. After talking about what I was looking for I scheduled an appointment for the next business day. I forgot the tech/rep's name, however when he came he was knowledgeable and answered the torrent of questions I had for him. Originally, it started out for just an estimate and I ended up hiring him for service on the garage door. I want to make it clear, he did not pressure me or sell any service for me. He gave me an explanation on what should be done to maintain a garage door. Ever since I owned/had the garage door, I didn't do any maintenance, so I decided to have it done on the spot. He tightened the spring/coil and changed the rollers. I thought the price was decent. I would hire again. He also explained the difference between my current door vs new "up to code" doors. I had a lot of questions.

He was really great. He was so nice, so helpful and instructive. He said that the garage door was taken care of really well by the previous owners and it should last 5-7 years more and to keep doing what I've done. He spent a long time and did a wonderful job. Not only did he fix what was wrong, but gave me a good fair estimate on how long the door would last given the condition of the rollers etc. He also helped me sync my new car with the garage door opener by getting up to the motor and changing a setting. I definitely recommend him.

Within a few minutes of purchasing the deal, I received an email from the company. Their technician contacted me a few hour later and told me that he could be in my house today. He was always in contact with me and text me stating that he could arrive earlier than schedule. I agreed. During the repair process he was very courteous and explained everything he was doing. He also gave me some great tips on how to keep our garage door working for years to come. Very friendly and polite. He clean his work area and made sure he was not leaving anything behind. I will recommend them to anyone looking to repair or replace their garage door!

I couldn't get my car out of the garage since the door would not open. They were quick to respond that afternoon to replace the broken torsion spring. They were very profession and neat. Even though they had a hard time gaining access to my gated community due to gate phone system being broken. They were persistent to gain access to accomplish the job. Its a pleasure to have work accomplished by two fine technicians like Rafael and Robert. Most of the garage door companies I contacted could not provide service until the next day or later, this company was quick to work me into their schedule that day. I will use them again and highly recommend them to others needing garage door service.
