Steven was very knowledgeable and answered any questions I had before booking. The job was done fast and efficiently and everyone had a great attitude.

They were on time, efficient and cleaned up after themselves.

They were not equipped to cover my floors or cover my clothes as the attic access was in a walk-in closet. They had no equipment to clean up. They should have given me a certificate stating how many bags were blown in versus my square footage.

Overall, we had quite a good experience with Affordable Insulation. I had contacted numerous companies prior to this one and was unhappy with how they described the work they planned to do. When I requested a quote from Affordable Insulation, Steven called me almost immediately, and I explained my situation. Steven spent a lot of time on the phone with me that day; he was patient and answered all of my questions. He reassured me that the project would be done to my specifications, and I felt incredibly good about hiring them. If I simply rated this portion of my experience, it would be off the charts! The day that the guys came to install the insulation, however, they seemed to know absolutely nothing about what they were supposed to do. When I had previously spoken to Steven on the phone, I had insisted on baffles, and he had assured me baffles would be done. But the installation crew did not know this and did not have the baffles with them. They made some, and it seemed to work out, but I can not be positive they did as good a job on this as they would have, had they come prepared to do that portion of the project. The installation crew did not even know what R-value we had selected. Not only was that information on my quote, but it seems like a kind of important information to come to a project knowing! All of this made me very anxious, and I felt like I kind of had to look over their shoulders (metaphorically speaking) while they worked in my attic. At the very end, I had to remind them that they were supposed to put some batting on the attic entrance cover. I was disappointed that I had to continuously tell the installation crew what they were supposed to be doing, and the difference between the service I received on the phone, and the service I received on the day the insulation was installed was astounding. As far as the quality of work that was done, I believe I am happy with it. The insulation has been in for just over a month, and I do notice that my house is staying cooler; I am tracking my electric bills to see how big of a chance there is, but that is more of a long-term project and I can not report on it yet. In looking at the work, there are some areas that look a bit shallow, so I am not sure we got the full R-38 everywhere. I know it must be near to impossible to make the entire attic uniform, but we do have one spot we measured at only about 7 inches of insulation. But other than that, I am happy with the work. Overall, I am pretty happy with the project and the experience overall, and I believe I can recommend this company for several reasons, the greatest of which are the wonderful communication from Steven (and his patience with my questions) at the beginning of the project, and the value for money (this was one of the best quotes I got). Steven was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, and, although there was some anxiety during the actual installation portion, I am happy we went with this company.

Steve responded immediately to my request for a quote... which was reasonable. The work was done within a week...installers arrived on time and worked efficiently. I asked for photos of before and after, which they sent as soon as the work was done. Iâ m impressed with this company and will gladly recommend them to my friends. We added 6 inches of insulation to our entire house and expect better cooling and lower FPL bills. A first-rate company!

Steve communicated very well before showing up and then once he and his team arrived, they were quick and efficient. They also cleaned up after they were done. Steve walked through the house and educated me on other ways to keep the house cool and help save on my electricity bill. Really great experience and a really helpful group of guys.

Once I spoke with Steve who responded to my inquiry with 5 minutes I knew he was the right guy for the job. Steve and his crew were prompt, clean and efficient with their time. Pricing was affordable and not over market. Good value! He explained the materials used and how the fiberglass insulation process works. My ranch home is 50 years old and still had original insulation that was now bare in the attic. It was long over due. I am hopeful that new insulation (circa 2020) will keep the house cool more efficiently and give the AC unit some needed time off. It kept running all the time. I would definitely hire Steve ans his company again if I had another house to repair. I suggest giving him a call for your insulation needs.

Steven and his crew were very professional. He quoted me a fair price and was able to do the job immediately. They cleaned up after they were done. I highly recommend them.

They start working on Monday. They were informative and considerate. Wore masks and followed 6 ft distancing. I believe they will do an awesome job. They knew there business and products through and through. Very reasonable prices. Cannot wait for them to start.
