Computer Express

The tech showed up on time with all his paperwork and got right to work.  I didn't have a snapshot of the exact issue/error message but I explained it to him.  He started running some diagnostics, found the problem explained the problem and what he was going to do to fix it.  He made a few suggestions, simple do's and don'ts to pay attention to in the future. 
The whole process was quick and painless.

I looked on Angie's list for a few names to choose from. Computer Express offered a senior discount so I went with them and wasn't sorry. When I called Desmond he asked me all kinds of questions about what I had done so far to fix my problem - like going back to another 'restore' point, using my search features to find the IE, shutting down and reconnecting all wires again. I had tried many of the things he asked me about so he scheduled a tech to come out. Louis came out and discovered the malware on my computer and reinstalled IE along with Chrome so that I had 2 ways to search the internet. He added a security package so I could stop using McAfee that I was paying through Verizon. And to top it all off because I was a senior I got a discount on my bill. After the tech left I had a few new issues with the computer and he came back to fix them also. All in all I was very pleased with both Desmond and Louis. They got back to me in a timely manner and fixed my problems. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

I had been a client of Computer Express for several years when my two-year computer locked up. After calls to Lenovo and Microsoft proved unhelpful in that there was no way to salvage the computer's contents, I called Desmond. As always, he was professional, listened to my description of the problem and the responses by Lenovo and Microsoft, asked questions and said he was confident that the data could be saved. The technician arrived, was also polite and very knowledgabe, worked several hours to get the computer functioning again and stayed until he was sure everything was working fine. Both he and Desmond called the next day to follow up.
When I've called on other occasions, Desmond will spend time with me on the phone trying to trouble-shoot the problem prior to sending out the technician. I highly recommend Computer Express. The people are professional, personable and knowledgeable; the service is top-notch; and the price is reasonable.

I have used them more than once. They are very helpful over the phone, and they schedule appointments within a short amount of time after your phone call. The technicians that come home are focused, they do their work, they explain what they are doing, and every step of the way. They are personable. They fixed everything that was broken, and that is most important to me. Every time they came to fix something, they did it. The pricing is fair, but I really don't have a basis for comparison.
