Description of Work: Had Mr. Keith check an old baby grand piano we've had in the family for a while. It hadn't been played for a while and had been stored in an old farm house for years before we claimed it. Mr. Keith gave us his honest opinion about trying to restore the piano, and the cost would have been prohibitive. He recommended that if we really wanted a quality used piano that we could probably buy one for several thousand $$$ less than doing a restoration on our old piano. Although disappointed about the repair cost and not being able to restore our old piano we did appreciate his honest feedback. And, we feel like his expertise saved us a lot of time, trouble and money.

 + -1 moreI call Mr. Keitth the "Paino Doctor" because he's well versed in tuning and repair. If he doesn't have the solution to a particular problem, he has contacts in the industry to call upon for any unique problems. He is very responsive, puncutal, and, by far, his fee schedule is reasonable and very competitive. I highly recommend "Doctor" Keith.
Description of Work: Tunes my piano on a bi-annual schedule and does repairs as needed. My piano is an 1897 grand, it's tempermental and requires a high level of expertise. Repairs have included extracting the action board, repairing problem key action, general lubrication, etc.
