Dave the electrican was outstanding.

This company does awesome work, they were prompt and courteous, a little on the pricy side but the work comes with a one year warranty. Work guaranteed for a year... They have my reccomendation!

Our project consisted of the installation of customer furnished ceiling fans (qty. 4) & hanging light fixtures (qty. 3). The electrical boxes in our home were pre-wired by the builder & not part of this job. In addition, motion sensors were installed into our existing outdoor flood lights (qty. 2). Being a new resident to the region, I did some on-line research of several contractor's reviews & called Expert Wire. The scheduling & estimating process utilized by Expert Wire was exactly as advertised; the customer can expect to not experience any surprises such price increases. Their initial visit to our home was key to understanding the work scope & up-front price estimate. The electrician assigned to our project, Matthew W. was very punctual, professional & knowledgeable of each aspect of the job. Matthew elicited our vision of the finished work & together we added features such as dimmer controls & LED lighting. As an added customer service feature, Expert Wire dispatched an associate to the lighting retailer & picked up our pre-purchased supplies & brought them to our home (at no additional cost). Matthew & his colleague Morgan performed the work of hanging the fixtures in one full day (as quoted) & were very thorough; their work ethic was of the highest quality. They took great care in working in our home & collectively suggested industry standards for height & positioning for each fixture based on our input & expectations. We are extremely pleased with the outcome of our project & intend to contract with Matthew & the Expert Wire team for future electrical service needs.

David B.l and Brian G. were my service providers and were courteous and efficient, provided me with clear information about the job, and came during the time they said they would. I needed new smoke alarms and felt satisfied I got what I needed. I was very happy with both Expert Wire and these two employees!

Very impressed with the overall service provided by Expert Wire.I had a problem with 3 outlets which were not working. Our electrical box was the original one from the 1970's and knew we probably needed to have it changed. I initially contacted their office on a Friday to schedule an appointment for early the following week. I got a live person on the line and she was very cordial, professional and helpful. We scheduled the appointment for Monday morning which was excellent! The tech contacted me 30 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment to let me know he was on his way. He showed up when expected. He was very knowledgeable. He explained and showed me the issues. What he proposed made sense changing the box. He gave me a price which was right in line with the price range I'd determined during my research. He was very organized and completed the work. He explained and showed me the finished work. He was very neat, wearing booties over his shoes. I'm very happy with not only the work, but the overall process of working with Expert Wire. I highly recommend them!

Matt Wothers was great. Very professional, no-nonsense. Installed our new fan and then did an electrical inspection. He shared a lot of good advice and recommendations, and we had him give us an estimate for additional work. We'd had a difficult time finding a good electrician in our area, so we're very glad Home Advisors referred us to EXPERT WIRE. thanks much! Kathleen Baukin

I recommend caution. I called Expert Wire on a Friday evening when an outlet in our garage would not work after a severe storm. We checked all the breakers first and couldn't find the problem. Their worker Juan came immediately, but he was not very familiar with our solar system. He spent 45 mins without repairing or replacing anything. Eventually the outlet worked again (I am assuming it had something to do with the rain). Juan told us the electric panel was dangerous, not up to code and might cause a fire. He charged us over $300 and recommended urgent replacement of our main panel. (Our panel passed 2 previous electrical inspections in the past 4 years). The Expert Wire owner David contacted me several times to convince me of how dangerous our situation was, but apparently his worker did not recognize our Square D double tap breakers which are new, up to code and designed for this purpose. We got a second opinion from a master electrician. Bottom line: panel is up to code, not a danger and not a fire risk. No replacement was needed. The owner did not offer a refund.

Finally an electrical company with competent people!

Juan S. & Brian G. replaced faulty smoke alarms and exterior security light and added a wall switch. They gave a 30 minute prior to arrival courtesy call, were very professional and courteous. All work was explained and the price was reasonable. They even cleaned up after themselves! I only wish everyone followed this level of quality service. Great job, Juan, Brian and Expert Wire! Highly recommend.

They were able to send someone to my home the day after I called to make an appointment. Dave Bittell was courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. This will be the company I always call for electrical work in the future!

They were fast, efficiant and professional. DAVID BITTELL & BRAIN GIBBONS were awesome. Not only was the job completed in a timely manner but they were extremly curtious and explained everything. I WOULD RECCOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.
