We couldn't ask for better. Each time they were on time and they called when they were on the way. Very professional installers. Better prices than their competition. Awful! The technicians were polite, and were kind enough to take pictures of what it looked like under the house when I asked them to. They were able to repair the issues without having to replace entire lengths of duct work. But at 3AM I woke up hot, and it was 77 degrees in the house - worse than it had been before the duct work was fixed. I called and left a message on the company voicemail, left my number, and asked them to call me in the morning. Unfortunately, they never called. At all. A friend suggested I try restarting the system, since I mentioned that the last time they shut the system down, they switched off the breaker without first shutting the system down. So I shut the system down at the thermostat, then the breaker, waited five minutes and then turned it all back on. That seemed to work. Then I called the company so that they could make sure their techs did not do this to anyone else's system, and to comment that they never bothered to call me back. The woman who answered the phone first said this was the first she was hearing of my issue. Then she said she had heard I called, but she had been told I would call back, and I did not call (implying I was at fault). Then she kept talking over me rather than listen to what I was calling about. It was more important to her that she defend herself than listen to the customer. She never said I'm sorry. I had to ask her if she would stop talking to listen. Twice. Then I told her what the tech had done, and that I had solved it myself. That alone would have been enough to turn me off of the company, but the owner just called me. Not to apologize for the misunderstanding, but to say "I did call you!" He said he did call, but the number on the caller ID, and not the number I left in my message, which is also the same contact number on my account. He did not say he was sorry for the confusion. Then he started to argue with me that the techs only turned the breaker off on the inside unit, not the outside unit. I told him he was incorrect, as both the techs and I had been looking at the breakers together, that both breakers were turned off, and that one was even labeled "Outside AC Cond." However, he continued to tell me that did not happen. I finally told him that I was not going to stay on the phone and argue with him, and that I would not use his company again. Then he yelled at me that I was "very rude!" Any company that calls up a customer that has an issue, for whatever set of circumstances, just to say "you are wrong" and not to apologize, will not keep customers coming back. So if you'd like to use a company that is going to argue instead of trying to resolve an issue, call Above and Beyond. Because the owner went above and beyond to ruin their reputation with me. Customer service is not their forte.

"When we arrived you had multi issues with your duct work. While the tech was fixing the duct work the fan came on. He ask you to turn the power off so he could fix the hole in your duct work. We fix your duct work and even did extra work and inspected all your duct at no additional cost. The breaker never got turned back on and i apologized for that even though we didnt turn it off, but you were to busy yelling and being rude to here me. We strive to be the best and most honorable company in the area."

G.L. was excellent and took care of this on a Sunday afternoon for us. I explained what I knew of the situation and he gave me an arrival time of just over an hour. That's amazing for a sudden call like that, much less on a Sunday. He showed up on time, even calling to let us know when he was getting close. He quickly diagnosed the issue and had the part he needed on his truck. Not long after we were back o normal. I would recommend G.L. to any one who asked.

The heat pump was installed 4 yrs. 11 mos. ago. I had a problem with the ventilation fan kept running constantly in a serial communication system with all the bells and whistles. The installer retired some years ago and I had been unable to find a suitable HVAC company since that time. Some companies were absolute DUDS. The manufacturer of the system (Rheems), appears to be of no help. This company truly went above and beyond to resolve the issue and had a control board flown to the area for repair. They were prompt, courteous, low cost and extremely professional. I have added them for an annual maintenance contract as well.
