My experience overall went very well. The staff was friednly and professional. They were also detailed with their explanations of the work. They gave an estimate up front. The pricing was a little high but the quality was work was great. I would highly recommend this company to others.

Service was great, Shay had the door open in minutes. Very professional, would recommend to other folks.

Gut the technician was in time, fully explained all problems and performed the task efficiently.

We booked Keyed In for a free estimate to change locks in our new home, and they arrived early, and ready to help. This turned out really well for us, because we began the encounter by setting of the alarm (brand new home!). Shay was very professional, gave us our estimate, waited for me to call another prospective lock-smith, and then countered with a lower estimate. I only gave him a and quot;Band quot; for price because the initial estimate was significantly higher. He also guided us on changing the style of the existing lock, and was quick and professional in his work. As a bonus, he took some pictures for us on the steps of our new home!

We received great service from Guy, the locksmith that Keyed In LLC sent out. We called on a Sunday night for service and Guy came out on a Tuesday. He was very professional, calling to update me several times on his arrival time. Once he got here, he did a quick walkthrough to look at our doors, told me what he recommended, and gave me an estimate. We decided to proceed immediately and it took less than 30 minutes for all of the locks to be replaced. Bonus is that they all use the same key, so no need to carry around a bunch of different keys. The company uses paperless technology, which was also great. I got an email receipt (I'd lose a paper one) and have all of their info saved for a future need. They also provide 90 days of service on the locks in case anything goes wrong. I'd definitely use them again.

BAD Experience!!! Here is my experience from the beginning. First I called Keyed In LLC and asked for a price quote for the lockout.and they replied with $100. Then I called another company called Pop A Lock Baltimore a local company based in Colombia, MD (they also spoke without a very strong accent) not Washington D.C. like Keyed In and Pop A Lock quoted $99.00 total. There was a coupon for Keyed In for $100 worth of service for $75 so I figured I would buy that and save about $25.00 because all I was doing was having a lock picked not having a kitchen remodel done so I thought it was a simple job. Guy did show up on time but when he got there he told me, and quot;It is $155.00 for the service calland quot;. At least that is what I heard with his thick accent. I expressed being upset because on the phone I was told $100 and now I am being told $155.00. It seemed like bait and switch to me. I really wanted to get into my house so unfortunately agreed to let him go ahead but he definitely knew I was an unhappy customer. So here is the real kicker! He finishes and pulls up the receipt on his iPad and shows it to me and asks me to sign a bill that is for $165.00. I lose it telling him that his company quotes one price and then charges something different. He responded that he said, and quot;$155.00 plus the service calland quot;. Of course he didn't tell me that the service call was going to be an extra $10 nor tell me the total price was going to be $165.00. He seemed to hide that until the end. Why didn't he give me that price at the beginning? Why didn't they give me that price on the phone? Eventually after a lot of arguing and yelling because I was furious from being taken advantage of, he lowered the price to $145.00 which was still $45 more than I would have paid with Pop A Lock and I probably would not have had to deal with the deceit and lies and yelling. To make things worse because I wanted to make sure I just did not hear them wrong on the phone I emailed them about another fictitious lockout job a few blocks away. I did this because Guy made me feel like I was never quoted a price of $100 and that I was the one who was wrong. Below are my questions and responses: I am locked out of my house at: 1404 Locust StreetBaltimore, MD 21226 I found you through Angie's List. What will be the total cost for you to get me in my house? Thank you, Bill Minimum lock out charge is starting in $89+ depends on your lock.Best, The Keyed In Team 888-247-4656 Next email: It is a plain deadbolt. That is it. What would the total be? I need to know so I can compare your estimate to other locksmith companies and make a decision who I am going to use. Thanks, Bill What is the model number? Shay Knaani and lt;[email protected] gt; My response: There is no model # visible from the exterior. I don't believe I've ever seen it from the inside either. Are any of your customers able to remember what the model # is to their deadbolts? It does say, and quot;Titanand quot; on the exterior. Keyed In LLC response: Lockout charge for residential lock is $89 Service call $45 Total $134 Shay Knaani and lt;[email protected] gt; So by email the price is not $89 or $100 (by phone) or $165, it is $134 and the service call is $45 not $10 like Guy was going to charge me in person. I wouldn't trust these people ever again. They seem to make up prices as they go and don't stick to any quote they give you. My advice is to find another Locksmith. I have no idea why this company has any good reviews after all the lies and inconsistencies I dealt with them in only 1 experience.

Called prior to arrival; showed up on time; clearly explained a variety of options at different price points; performed the work and cleaned up work area prior to departure.

Everyhting was fine. Job was well done. They were very quick.

Purchased Angie's List coupon for Locksmith services. Company contacted me within hours, made appointment, explained options, completed work.

The men called me 60 min ahead to get me know when they'd be arriving. They were polite, professional and efficient in their installation.

Provider arrived on time and changed the lock, but I feel he misled me about what was covered by the Angie's list offer, and ended up charging me an additional $80 dollars to do work that I thought was covered by the offer I had paid for. I ended up feeling he had pulled a bait and switch on me. I definitely would NOT recommend this provider to others, and do not feel well served by Angie's List in having been steered to this provider.

The locksmith promptly called within the window I was given a couple of hours after my initial call and arrived within minutes. At the door he introduced himself, did not mind my dog and was very professional. He worked on the door for about 10 minutes and opened it without any damage. On his way out, he tightened my entrance door knob at no additional cost. I will certainly call them again if I need a locksmith.

I was extremely pleased with the service provided by Keyed In LLC. After locking myself out of the house and calling the first provider I could find on Angie's List, the locksmith arrived at my house less than 20 minutes later- I was greatly impressed with this speed. He explained what he would do and the charges that would be incurred, and asked me to approve them before beginning. Due to the nature of my door his initial attempt to unlock it was unsuccessful, so he then proceeded with the second option of knocking out the doorknob. After successfully removing the doorknob and unlocking the door, he was able to provide and install a new doorknob that matched my existing key. Overall, I was very pleased with the speed and efficiency with which the locksmith both arrived and solved the problem. He was very friendly and I was comfortable having him in my home. Additionally, he provided a 15% discount for being an Angie's List member. I hope to not need a locksmith in the future, but if I do, this is who I'll call.

Mr. Khaani arranged to visit our newly purchased home on the same day that we called. He was incredibly professional providing all of the details to the various options available, never pushed in any direction, provided a couple of quotes for different configurations, and ultimately performed the work himself. He was very professional, efficient, and provided outstanding service for us. We would recommend this company to anyone in the future. Really positive experience.

They were available exactly when I needed them and I appreciate the flexibility. However, they were not able to give me an estimate for the services on the phone - which did not allow for pricing/ price value comparison. And when the arrived they weren't able to provide the service I wanted so we went with a less secure option. While I believe practically their concerns were legitimate and likely no one else would have been able to fulfill what i needed, it would have been helpful if they'd been able to have a more in depth qualifying conversation with pricing, so that I'm not left feeling like it's a bait and switch.

They called me immediately and came out the next day. They gave me a quote that was very reasonable. They did a good job.
