Attempted to contact the Service Provider, finally got in contact with him and am going with a different company.

Shay had made this call to our home. He was a little late, about 15 minutes. Not a big deal. The quality of the parts installed were OK. I was given an option of "commercial" or "high end". i went with commercial. I was floored to learn the cost of installing this new hardware. $700 is a lot of money to me to just have 1 deadbolt, 1 door handle and 1 knocker installed. We paid it because we needed this done. Next time if I am able I would shop around for better pricing. I did not have any issues with the final outcome. Just price.

They got it wrong the first time; but then they came back and fixed it. They did it quickly and in good time & no charge.

Do NOT use this service. When the tech came to review the scope of my project, he gave me varying prices to remove my existing solid brass door knobs -- I wanted to have them professionally cleaned -- and then replace them. He worked on a tablet and it was not easy to see all the prices laid out in front. There was no service price list or anything similar. The total job would cost $675. A couple interior doors needed brand new door knobs as well, which I purchased independently. The company will only warranty their service if you purchase product directly from them. Since I can purchase product at discount through my business, I went that route and purchased top line sold brass Baldwin knobs. In less than six months, they were loose, basically sliding back and forth through the door opening. This was the case for both the brand new product AND the replaced existing knobs. We've lived in this house since 2011 and have never had any issue with any of the door knobs. Since the problem occurred for both the new and existing knobs, I can only conclude that the labor was at the root of the problem. When I contacted the company to send out a tech, they informed me that not only would I have to pay a service fee (OK), but I would have to pay another $175 to have the same tech fix the problem. AND I would have to pay in full and up front. When I balked at this (what if there is still a problem -- the tech will do another shoddy job and then leave with my check), I was told this was "policy" and there was nothing they could do. I work in retail and know very well this is not the way to treat an existing customer who has a reasonable complaint (after all, this issue arose in less than six months from the original date of the work done). Word to the wise: STEER CLEAR

For the last week I've been having problems with my front door knob. I spoke with Robin who was very polite and she quickly set me up for service. The locks were changed in 2 days.

I decided not to use this deal. I called and basically, this deal doesn’t include service provided. It is just having them come out and evaluate the lock. I would use him in the future if he has a better deal.

The service was okay. It was quick. Our garage door was old, and I just wanted to get it checked up. I called the, and I told them what I was going to do, and they said that it was good to have the door checked periodically.

He came and sprayed the springs and checked the balance. He didn't lubricate the screw that makes the door go up and down and quoted me $250 to replace the rollers. I was disappointed in the Big Deal and will not be using them again or will I recommend them.

Service provider was very courteous and reliable. He had to come back and redo one of the locks which he did quickly and without complaint.

I was impressed with the customer service of this company. Roy came out and gave me a quote on 30 December. I'd gotten a coupon from Angie's list online for a single garage door install for $99. I was going to hold off on the second until I could get the same price, but he said there was no problem and they'd install the second for the same price. We walked through the style of door to purchase and also the accompanying electronics. He gave me other install price reductions since I had two doors instead of one. Roy called to see if my door style and size was in stock and scheduled me the next day on 31 December. That morning, Eric arrived on time and installed everything in about 6 hours. He was professional, experienced, and did a great job. In just over 24 hours from receiving a quote, I had two new working garage doors.

They weren't very responsive with helping determine the total cost of the services.

Bought a coupon to tune up a garage door opener. Found that the motor was going out and needed to be replaced. The service technician was excellent. I made the mistake of agreeing to have it replaced (and the second that was the same age) at the time and giving a 50% down payment w/o searching for other bids. The good issues. They were prompt, very professional and after a month, the openers are working very well. I am pleased with the results. The applied my Angie's list price to the cost of the whole service which they were not obligated to do and I received a small discount for doing both at the same time. The bad issues. I believe that the price was far too expensive for the work that was done. Everything was in place and measured properly in the set up of the openers, so the work was very simple, replacing a guiding rod and the opener. There was substantial mark up on the opener and guiding rod (expected) but the service charge ended up more than $250/hour, even w/ the discounts given. I paid what I agreed to, but requested a rebate in light of the simplicity of the job., speaking w/ the manager or possibly the owner of the company. It was denied (their right per our contract) but overall I feel that the price was far too expensive for the work done. Except for the cost, I am pleased with the service, especially with the technician that did the work.

Love the new lock, technician was fast, explained everything and gave me three options for replacements. I had sticker shock -- not commenting on whether price was too high, low or just right, only that I should have done research beforehand so I had no idea how much replacement would cost. As the old lock just quit working, I had to move fast. The new lock is strong, secure and great looking.
