The services went very well. The technician was on time, professional, efficient, and kept me updated on how the services were coming.

Good overall. Took a while to get an appointment. Good work and a good price even without the Angie's Coupon deal.

Keyed In first came to my home during a snowstorm -- the only locksmith willing to do so! Of course I followed up with requesting replacement of the difficult-to-find locks, which the company ordered and installed in a professional manner. I plan to use the company again to address other needs. I recommend this company highly.

It went fine. They answered all my questions and the garage door isn't slamming anymore. He had some good recommendation, was on time and cleaned up. The service was outstanding.

He was very nice and polite and had the door open within about 15 minutes of his arrival.

We were moving into a new home and only had 1 key each for 3 doors. The front door needed new keys, the garage door and outer door needed a key and a basement door had no keys. Our provider was able to perform all tasks efficiently while providing some education along the way. He was professional and even cut us a small break on the fly. We'd use these guys again definitely.

I bought a big deal for this service. I did not like them at all. They were rude. He could not fix the lock for a start. He fiddled with it for a few minutes, leaned on the door with his elbows as if it was such a bother. I paid $45 for them to come out. I asked how much it was for a new lock and he said $359, when do you want it. There was, like, no courtesy, no nothing. I just did not like his attitude because it was like I was doing him a favor. He sat in the car on the driveway for at least 10 minutes. I ran out and asked when he was coming in and he said he had another phone call. It may just have been the personality of that one person, I mean, they may be the best in the world. I am very, very easy going. You can ask anybody that. I am not aggressive or assertive in any way, but he put the bristles in my backup. That was it. I thought his responsiveness was poor. I don't know anything about the company because I am new to the area, but I did not like the personality of the person who was sent to me to do the door.

Fine. I'm not really sure at the end of the day that there is a discount if done through Angies list but the service tech was great and the work was done promptly.

Key came out to fix a shaky lock .. the mechanism needed to be placed and dicided to ahead and replace even though it was a custom lock at a very high cost. Unfortunately after paying in full our order got lost many times and it took over five months and ten calls to take the lock delivered .. once it arrived they did come within three days The receptionist/office manager is very nice and helps all she can, unfortunately the service people arent closely watched by management and many things fall through .. a similar drop-the-ball happened to friend with them as well

showed up when promised and unlocked my door. this door was tougher then I thought it would be (which is a GOOD thing). Tech was knowledgeable, polite, and professional. It was late at night and cold so I really appreciate the effort to get me inside. Saved the contact info in case I every need it again. Not 100% sure on the price I noted as I had the service a while ago. thought already reviewed them in Angie's list before, but wanted to share this great vendor .

I loved their service, it was excellent.

1. Showed up late. 2.Repeatedly asked the same questions of which I had already provided information on. 3. Rude and unprofessional 4. Gave me a quote that was 260% higher than what I actually paid to have the work done (after Angie's List discount 15%). I questioned the amount and told him I had previous service done for a 1/3 of that price when I lived in Arizona. He said "Well you don't live in Arizona". I will NEVER use that company again.

Then young man was very professional. He had to measure the window in a very tight spot. That did not seem to be a problem, never disturbed any flowers etc. Would do business with this company any time

Job went fine. Did not expect work to be so costly.

He was very courteous and informative. All he did was put oil on the wheels, which I felt wasn?t worth the cost of the service. He did have a great personality, though.

It ended up being a little more expensive than I thought for the entire package. I didn't understand what I got that it was only a service call. I was satisfied with the service once they got here. They were prompt. They did everything that I asked them to do. It was just more expensive than I have anticipated. Because I had given that key to my family to help in case of something went wrong. The $19 only covered the service call.

This is a long overdue review; however, due to family issues over the past year, and 3 contractors (one being the garage door mfg) all said the work was improper. The initial voucher was through Amazon local, the service was to provide a garage door tune-up. The (new) individual who performed the services was fired the next day. During the tune-up the individual convinced me that my springs were rusty and they were about to break - well, not being knowledgeable in this area and trusting an Angie's list contractor, I blindly agreed to the 'up-sale' to replace my springs, after all I have heard about the damage a spring can do and I didn't want to take that risk. After the work was completed, I called Keyed In the next day with numerous complaints regarding the work and then my garage door would only open 12 inches, due springs being undersized (my opinion). Keyed In was responsive to the 2 or 3 calls that were made to fix the work previously done, even during a heavy snow storm, which was much appreciated. After a year had passed and after receiving 3 separate contractor comments (one replaced my opener so he had a vested interest) ) including contacting the garage door manufacture - all said the work was incorrect. The springs were not placed in the middle as they should have been placed, they are moved to one side. All contractors including the mfg said the spring placement will damage my garage door opener and could also damage my garage door since the springs are not where they should be. I have pictures showing the spring placement. While this company may be good at certain things, I would not use them for any garage work. Now I have to pay another contractor to fix the springs, which will cost me another $800 - grand total will be $1600, not happy.

Very easy. Arrived around 10:30, finished in an hour.

The jury is out. But I'd still consider them in the future.

They had to locate a replacement lock for one of the doors. They searched several sources and did find a suitable replacement.. It was not an exact replacement so Shay had to work to make the new lock fit. I did think the cost was a little high but the service provided was excellent.

I contacted Keyed In after seeing their ad in a monthly Angie's list catalog. I needed a spare for my wife's car and asked how much it would be. After all expenses were factored in, the person said it would be around $320! For a single key! For that sort of price, I probably could have taken it to the dealership and had a copy made, which is what I was trying to avoid. I'm sure they provide good service and help in a pinch, but their prices are definitely on the high side of the scale.

They showed up on time, gave us great advice on the services we wanted done. Was in and out in a timely manner and now we are feeling safe in our new home! It was a great experience and we will definitely use them again.

As I state above and again reference below; the simple service call was more with collecting a fee, than to fix my door, with a simple washer. I'm retired on a limited income. When I spend, I expect the service agent to earn it. __________________ ("My service call was to fix a loose storm door lock. Took 1 minute to take off lock plate, looked at inside then put back on. Said I had a $00.10 broken washer. He would not fix!. I asked why? The service rep. said he didn't think he had the washer. Then he started writing the bill and handed me an invoice for $145.00. I asked the rep. to check with his supplies on his vehicle. He said for me to contact the manufacturer who made the door. __________________ In my opinion, this service was bad. The rep. showed very little people skills and willingness to earn the service call fees. I would never use this Company again. Furthermore, I request a full refund on the paid charges, due to the services not performed"). PS: About two weeks ago, KEYED In LLC sent me a service call survey. I shared my experience and forwarded to them. I have not heard a peep.
