Description of Work: We wanted a locksmith to look at our front door lock to have a professional opinion as to where it needed replacing or fixing. His opinion was that it needed neither. He offered to replace it with a higher grade of lock but we declined. Also will note, that he called to say he would be late about 1/2 hour. He wasn't on time but called me, which is important to me.

Description of Work: Replaced a doorknob lock and a bolt lock on our front door. I called them on a thursday and they originally had asked me to schedule for the following week, but my wife had lost her keys and we wanted to get it replaced sooner, so they got it done on Friday. Setting up the appointment was a little awkward in that they didn't call me, I had to call them, and the person I spoke to was a little difficult to understand (too far away from the phone) until I mentioned it and then all was well. The repairman originally called and gave us a time about an hour out, but didn't actually arrive until about 20 minutes after that (traffic). The job was well done, and I'm completely satisfied with it.

Description of Work: The first price the technician gave me was for a cadillac door lock, instead of presenting me with a couple of choices and price ranges. It didn't take long to fix this mistake and select an appropriate lock. The technician installed promptly and courtesly.
