Description of Work: The motor on my electric garage door opener had burned out. They replaced the garage door opener and made some adjustments to the tracks. The price was higher than I had expected: $750 for the new garage door opener (single bay), installed, with an exterior key pad and two remote control units. It works very well. They also tried to persuade me to replace the garage door and tracks, giving me a price of approximately $2,000 to $2,500, depending on the type of door. I chose not to replace the door at this time. I think their service is high quality and professional, but no bargain in terms of price.

Description of Work: The sales representative was punctual in arriving to my home but that was the only positive point of the consultation. The representative was arrogant, unprofessionally brief, and seemingly uninterested. As if his demeanor was not enough, the price he quoted me was $1400 more than another company that I solicited. The Medallion Security representative was remarkably patient and thorough, explaining the company's history and every step of the service process from the measuring, to production, to installation. Additionally, he provided custom gates and doors that had grid patterns to match my door and window. The door and gate are visually undetectable from inside of my house. Keyed In only offered expensive, rudimentary prison patterns and a sales representative with an attitude.
