Working with this guy was a complete nightmare. Hodges never obtained the proper inspection and a year later I found out the work was done incorrectly. I rehired Hodges to finish/fix the work. After 5 weeks, the job was still unfinished. He obtained incorrect permits, charged me for work that was unnecessary, and the work he did wasn't up to code. I had to hire a new electrician, who got the job done within 3 days. This guy is a fraud and I am currently pursuing litigation and an investigation with the DC Industrial Board of Trade. BEWARE Hodges may work under DH Construction & Electrical, H & M Supply and Electrical, or possibly under a master electrician Etta Electric, Inc.
Description of Work: I hired Darrel Hodges to consolidate four electrical meters into two in order to meet Pepco requirements.

This customer is mad because her staff for some strange reasons believe that service tech work and her representatives leisure. It is not our responsibility to make sure her staff gets to the site on time, and have proper keys which allows us to enter the building. Also we not use to having our clients tell us that they need to re up before they are able to pay. I even went as as sending [members name] text messages about what was going on at her building. [Members Name] made a claim against our bond,and our bonding company found that we did nothing wrong. Her claim was denied. This property was illegally transformed from a four unit building to a two family flat,with DCRA having no record of it. I told [members name] she needs a construction manager not a person who shows up when he feels like it. I have no hard feeling toward this customer I wish her well but she needs better representation.
