Description of Work: I purchased this Big Deal voucher in December. At the time, we were very excited to have found a vendor willing to do a set of plans that included measurements for a basement renovation. Well after the holidays were over, I began my multiple attempts to contact the vendor and schedule them to come out and perform the services. After calling the main number for the provider and the cell phone of the specific contact at the provider, each several times, I sent an email to the contact. I never once received a response. I then called Angie's List to alert them to the problem and to see if they could assist. They offered and subsequently attempted to get in touch with the provider and the contact. To my knowledge, they were not successful. My last attempt to contact the provider was made on April 11, 2013 (which I have listed as the approximate service date on the above form). No services were ever rendered. I am very disappointed in this experience and would greatly appreciate a refund of my money on this voucher. Thank you!

Description of Work: Building Services Group LLC simply never showed up. We booked the first appointment and Mr. Joe Giordano was a no-show. After we reported him to Angie's List he said that he had the flu. We booked a second appointment and again he was a no-show. We have no explanation for the second absence.

Description of Work: Joe is a nice person. He probably became overwhelmed by the response. He just stopped answering the phone and left us hanging.

Description of Work: Visit to measure basement was scheduled via several emails; provider was responsive at that time. Provider came to measure on Feb 13th, but then was not heard from again, despite follow up emails from me and Angie's List.

Description of Work: Mr. Joe Giordino contacted me by email on 1/3/13 to set up a time to measure the basement. We agreed on an appointment for 1/9/13. Then, he emailed to cancel, saying that he had caught the flu. He emailed on 2/6/13 saying that he had recovered from the flu and was scheduling appointments for the week of January 18th. I promptly replied, giving him several options for appointments (Jan. 18th anytime, as well as times on January 20 and 21st). He never replied to firm up an appointment. I sent him a follow-up email on 3/15/13 saying that I had not heard back from him and wanted to set something up. He never replied to that email.

Description of Work: I don't have a story. I couldn't get the man responsible for this offer to respond to me so I could set up an appointment.

Description of Work: I brought the coupon in Dec and about a week later, the company contacted me through email which I thought was great. We setup an appointment for a week later and I thought this would be easy. He sent me an email on the day of our appointment to say that he was sick and wouldn't be able to make it. I replied back, that was fine and that we could reschedule when he felt better. I didn't hear anything for a couple of weeks and so I emailed him back and asked when we could setup another appointment. I tried to email him back on several more occasions and have not heard back and so now I am requesting a refund because I don't like the way that this company has done or should I say not done business with me.

Description of Work: I purchased the big deal and immediately contacted the company to schedule a walk-through. After at least 5 calls over a week period, I received no response from the company. I continuted to call following the holidays in January, believing that they were swammped, or perhaps that there was some sort of medical emergency. I'm convinced now that they just don't care.

Description of Work: I lost confidence in the company after reading all the reviews saying that the provider failed to respond after multiple calls and emails. When I called, I was not able to make an appointment but was instead prompted to leave a voicemail for the person listed as unresponsive in the previous postings.

Description of Work: After much harassing on my part, he finally came to measure the basement, promising the design in a week. never came. i emailed again - he promised i'd have it by feb 18. that was a week ago - still no design. i have nothing to show for my $50 and the time i spent trying to get this guy to do what he was supposed to do. a total waste of time - at the very least, i want my $$ back.

Description of Work: painting and drywall work in my apartment. It was extensive work and they did an excellent job. I will be using them in the future for sure.
