BioTech Pest Management

The tech who came out did a great job with the (many) holes above ground. This is an old house (built 1800s), so there are a lot of ways for a rodent to get in to the house. The tech who came out did a great job repairing a lot of holes, including some large structural holes from some inattentive contractors who worked on the house in the past. It's too soon to tell, but I don't expect I'll be dealing with my rodent friends for a while.

I was prepared to use the warranty period I was given by biotech because in my mind, I just felt like the mice problem wasn't gonna just disappear. Unfortunately, I was proven wrong. I would have done this review long ago but I waited to see if I will be needing to call them back. I had a very bad mice situation and had earlier used a pest company, I wont mention names but the problem reoccurred after few weeks. I looked up pest control and read a series of reviews. At that point, I was convinced Biotech was the way to go, I called and was surprised when I was told inspection was free. Randy came in, did a thorough inspection, even in my skepticism, I couldn't believe my eyes when he showed me mice droppings underneath my cabinets, showed me entry points and explained to me what they will do for it to be gone permanently. We agreed and decided to go ahead to fix the problem. John came in, the next appointment and baited....came back a couple of days later to pull out dishwasher and other appliances, sealed the entry points. I was impressed at the extent of work they put in just to make sure the intruders don't gain entry anymore. I was called some days later and asked if I had any issues and I simply said Not Yet. Its been months now and still no recurrence. I am really happy with the work these guys have done. Thanks to Randy and John... Now I can sit still in my house without the usual noise from my intruders.

Was dealing with a mice issue on the outside of the house. Both the sales rep and technician were very polite and professional. The sales rep analyzed the problem, came up with a plan and explained it to me. Lo and behold, it worked like a charm. Thanks Randy and John. Will definitely recommend their services!

They never updated us that they were on the way but simply showed up. My tenant was shocked but allowed them to inspect. She said they looked at the hole and said it would cost $750. They never clearly explained what would take place other than sealing the hole. I rejected this offer and simply put steel wool in the hole to determine if anything was there. After two weeks and the wool still in place we had the section replaced for $130. I could have been FOOL have them do NOTHING for $750. Nawwww I am not telling nobody to call them.

The company responded quickly to an inquiry. The work was done on time and thoroughly.

There is something in my attic. Could be a ghost up there scratching and being a nuisance but I'm more inclined to believe it's some annoying, living critter. My husband called Biotech based on their reviews-----I later noticed that they have quite a few 1-star reviews. He made an appointment 3 days in advance and we were given a window of time. I'm also a business owner. However, I made it a point to totally re-arrange my clients so that I would be home to receive them during the time window. In short, they canceled within a couple of hours of our appointment siting "emergency". Emergency? Huh? What about MY emergency? In fact, I had a 3 day wait so why would someone else's "emergency" take priority over mine? They had the gall to leave me a message requesting I reschedule. Chile, please! I'd strongly advise you not to deal with these people. I'll also be giving them a poor report on Angie's List. This is not how a professional company treats its potential customers.

Biotech came out and while they couldn't determine how they got into the house, it was clear that there were a number of spaces where they could be (and likely were) living in. They were extremely expensive, but were willing to work with me to have me do the initial setting of poison and then they came back and sealed all the holes where the mice could be living. This seemed to do the trick except that after leaving for a couple weeks during the holiday, we came home to a dying mouse in the kitchen and spotted another mouse a week later in one of the bedrooms. Biotech came back, no charge, and filled in an area that they thought they had missed where they thought the mice might have come from. That was a month ago and we have not seen any additional mice since then.

They were very professional. They came and searched all corners of my large house looking for evidence and entry points, from the basement to the attic. They then returned to leave bait and a week later spent extensive time sealing all potential points of entry, pulling out various appliances to seal behind them such as the stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, washer, dryer, under sinks, etc. Very thorough. We did spot a mouse in the kitchen after that and they scheduled a revisit to take care of that. We have seen no indication of activity since then and are happy with their service.

None of the major pest control companies seemed interested in more than quarterly service to bait traps. After inspecting my home, the folks from BioTech were quick to point out problem areas, suggest solutions, and get the work done quickly. While the price was high, I haven't seen or heard a rat since they finished their work.

While I'm happy with the work that BioTech Pest Management did to remove the squirrels in our attic, their price was unreasonable, and I did not receive all of the services promised. I have called numerous times to discuss this with the owner, and he has never returned my message. 1. Getting the estimate. The phone receptionist was always very polite and pleasant. The estimator arrived during the three-hour window that was promised. He looked at the hole outside the house and coming through the ceiling and confirmed that his company could do the work. They would attach a one-way "door" over the hole in the house, and the squirrels couldn't get back in (not actually a trap, per se). Later they would remove the "trap," patch the hole in the house, and inspect the attic for damage the squirrels might have done. The work would be guaranteed for a year. The price was $1,000, which seemed very high, but he said that it was worth it. I was asked to pre-pay, which I did. 2. Trapping the squirrels out. When the workers arrived, they strapped the one-way "trap" on the house, and then left. No attic inspection. They were here maybe 15 minutes. 3. Removing the trap. A week later, they cancelled very late to take the trap off the house and cover the hole in the house, and it took another week to reschedule it. Again, a quick visit I keep asking myself, "Was this worth anywhere near $1,000?" and I just can't say yes. I've tried calling to discuss with the owner and gotten nowhere. My bad experience is partly my fault: I should have questioned the price more before pre-paying or simply not pre-paid. I regret my insufficient diligence and recommend other homeowners exercise more.

They laid traps and sealed the entrance area to prevent future issues. The technician was very nice, pleasant and professional. Unfortunately, the caulking material they used was a little messy, but they quickly came to fix the problem.

The consultant came, made a quick diagnosis and recommendation, including a followup appointment once the work was completed to make sure the problem was resolved. The technician was efficient and thorough and followed up a week later for a preventive treatment. There have been no problems since.

The cage and then wire cover are effective in keeping out squirrels, which we are grateful for, but the final work is not particularly professional in looks. The wire patches are just slapped on top of each other. They are nice people in the company but I would look for more professional work next time.

I contacted Biotech because I noticed termite damage in my home. I can't say enough about this company! I can't remember the name of the guy who came out, he was Head of Services; very professional and down to earth. I really appreciated being able to easily schedule an appointment and his promptness. The treatment was reasonably priced but executed very well so you get what you pay for. I highly recommend.

Biotech came out to treat my roach problem. David was very thorough and accommodating with the inspection and all of my questions. I had no trouble scheduling an appointment and he arrived on time. He talked me through his treatment strategy while servicing, so I knew exactly what was going on. They provide quality service for a reasonable price. If needed, I will be using them again in the future!

Well Cliff came in for the inspection quickey addressed the problem explaining how and why the problem was there and explained to me what they were going to do in order to prevent this problem and told me other methods i could do around the house to prevent any future insect problems gave me a fair price with a 90 day warranty and when the tech came out he was very polite i believe his name was christian and he was on time and professional he started the service and finished in no time as soon as they left the next two days passed and i didnt see any ants in my kitcjen biotech is one of the best out there and they stick to their word i highly recommend.

David came in for the first inspection he was very informed about the roaches he let me know that they were german roaches and not just any ordinary kind he said that german roaches are one of the hardest ones to deal with because they can survive with water alone and that they can hide almost anywhere. He gave me the price which i wasnt excited about but i needed the problem to go away so i paid. The same week i had the pleasure of meeting AJ he was on time and knew exactly what was going on and how to go about treating it took 2 visits but after those two the roaches were down to a bare minimum and after the third visit they were completely gone i thank biotech for their business and will use them again in the future!

I was impressed with their staff’s level of professionalism and quality of knowledge about the pests. Considering the mice problem that I had and their effective treatment, I felt their price was very fair. It was very easy for me to schedule an appointment; David came on time and was very pleasant. He helped ease my fears and gave tips on things I should watch for in the event that they might return. If I ever need another extermination, I will for sure use BioTech.

Biotech came in for a inspection very eager to find what they called swarmers which they said were flying termites pretty much that make the others worker termites as you can tell they informed me with a lot that I didn't know about termites they charged me based off the perimeter of my home so I didn't feel like I was being cheated off the price they gave me over all biotech has impressed me on their customer service and problem solving skill I will be using them again in the future.

Biotech was prompt on time professional and informative they know what they are doing and are the best in the the industry in my opinion.

Ever since biotech came in to seal the rodent entry point I haven't heard any crazy sounds in my attic I can finally sleep peacefully at night and so can my family thank you biotech !

Biotech did a great job for our home. We found some cockroaches in our kitchen few months ago. We tried several products we bought from Amazon to kill these annoying bugs, but they didn't work. They kept coming into our home. So we called Biotech to help us. They offered a free inspection first and gave us a reasonable quote. David came and did a great job. Now we can't find any cockroach in our home.

Clifford, the first man came to my house was diligent and knowledgeable, He answered every question I throw to him and made me peaceful after he gave me detailed treatment plan. He moved the dishwasher and fridge to check entry points and pointed out other potential holes. My satisfaction kept when the service guys came out to my home, they were considerable and always with a smile on their face. I do appreciate their hard work, laying on the floor and ensured every hole was sealed. It has been three months and I haven't seen any mouse or droppings since their last visit. Hope will never contact them in dealing such issues, but they do the first choice when you need a true solution. Highly Recommend!

The team from BioTech arrived just inside the time window we had been given. They checked our roof the roofs of our two adjoining neighbors houses, as we requested. Upon inspecting our attic they determined we had mice rather than squirrels. They promptly addressed the problem. They were very professional, seemed very competent and nowledgeable, and were very polite.

Biotech is a very professional and friendly outfit. I sent them a message through Angie's List and received a call back literally within 10 minutes. I explained that we'd be hearing a critter running through the walls of our rowhouse for the past couple weeks. We made an appointment for a free inspection for just a few days later. David was on time for our appointment window, and it was clear that he was very knowledgeable and thoughtful about his work. After inspecting the house, David outlined the options, and we ultimately decided not to do anything, at least for now, given the likelihood that the situation could resolve itself soon on its own. But whenever we next need pest control services, we will be sure to call Biotech.
