They are very quick, responsive, and reasonable.

Prompt response to my first call, discussion of details of equipment, cost, labor cost went well. But I was told there would be written warranty excepting what was written on estimate form. However in view of Health reasons and the reasonable cost estimate I agreed to the deal. As promised the company delivered about 6 weeks later. they were very prompt, professional, cleaned work site. But once they completed the work I was confused about the operation of the unit and simple questions were not answered to m y satisfaction. The questions were answered to my satisfaction. Later the company even went to the extend of calling me to inform me of a rebate of 250 Dollars and helped me to apply for same. I received the rebate. Even though I had some problems in obtaining details about operating the unit, I am satisfied with the unit, workmanship in installing the unit. I intend to call them for the annual servicing. I would recommend their services.

My experience with them was rough but it finally got done. They kept coming back with wrong parts or wrong people. But eventually it got done. Their demeanor was good. It took them a couple of tries but otherwise it was very well done.

So far so good. Part should be received within 2 weeks and when the weather gets cold we'll know if work was successful

It went great. Terry came out and gave us the quote. He explained everything very well and answered all our questions in a timely manner. Gary and Dan set up the Air handler and duct work and were very personable and non disruptive. They had very creative ideas on setting up the duct work and communicated the different options to us. The whole job from start to finish went very smoothly. We were very happy with the job that they did.

I had a question regarding what model furnace was quoted and sent an email back to Harp the following day however, I never received a response. With no response, I chose another company to do the work.

They never showed up! I waited for a few hours and I never received a call. I told them that I was really disappointed and that this was not a good professional way to have a business. It was a special deal for $99. I got a post card from them and then I also checked on Angie's list to check about them and they were on Angie's list. The guy said to me, "Well, you know mistakes are made." and I said, "Yeah, but I've been just sitting here for few hours waiting for you and I had to call you to find out." I had nothing to compare the pricing to. I think that was a pretty good price to have the air conditioning unit looked at and make sure everything was okay for the summer.

Our experience was totally positive. Jay, our technician was punctual and professional. He and his colleagues did an excellent job a d cleaned the area upon completion. Many of our neighbors in our condo complex replaced water heaters at the same time. Our impression is that we got the most for our money and a very positive experience overall.

We have central air and heat in our house and also in our separate newer addition bed room. The heater/air conditioner unit in the separate part of the house was not functioning well. We called Harp Mechanical and Home services to take a look. They installed a new thermostat. Problem solved. After our conversation, They advised that we should get a new thermostat for the older heating/ air conditioning unit in the first floor. We agreed because it was old. But when they installed the new one, that night the air conditioning unit outdoors was running instead of the heater! We called again. By that time it was overnight. So we turned off the heater/airconditioner of that part of the house. Lucky it wasn't extremely cold out. The next day they came to fix the thermostat. It was inconvenient but they did fix the problem. We are satisfied with the new thermostats and with the overall service including the customer service.

Mike Allen came over initially to give me options on replacement units. He was very knowledgeable and gave me good pricing on American Standard products. Jake and his team showed up on time Monday morning. They replaced the units, taking extra care to keep the lines routed as neatly as possible. The left the area very clean and they completed everything in one day. Jake was very knowlegeable and gave a run down on everything they did. He was very proffessional. The system is working perfectly and we are getting a quote from them to replace my mother-in-law's furnace. I would definitely recommend this company for HVAC.

It went great. They were upfront and did the work they said, and fixed my furnace.

HARP Mechanical and Home Services LLC are great. They come right out. Their prices are very competitive. They have different service plans. Thank goodness we had the one service plan. They come and clean your furnace like once a year but then this bill would have been a lot more than $200.00, if we didn't have the plan we had. They come right out if you need oil. They're just customer oriented.

The technician arrived slightly early, followed the checklist exactly and worked efficiently. When he was done, he reviewed the checklist and all operating measurements taken. His manner was pleasant and he answered questions confidently and well.

The technician did an excellent job - well spoken, and did clean up too! Will use again.

HARP Mechanical and Home Services LLC worked that great. There were some extra charges I needed Freon added to the refrigerator. A thick of Freon but it was some sort of refrigerant. They were prompt. They were very professional. Their kindness now was great so they did good work.

Maintenance tech was very thorough. Checked out furnace and air condition systems. Advised us on how to protect air condition system from grass cuttings.

Called left VM. Tech called right away. Owner also called. Received same day service

I turned on my air conditioner at the start of the May 2013 heat wave. The unit ran but was not cooling. I called HARP and they were able to get a technician to my home by 3 pm on the day of my call. A mouse had gotten into the electrical part of the system and killed itself by shorting out a large capacitor. The technician repaired the unit and the AC was now cooling my home. There was no charge for this since the unit had a one year warranty for parts and labor.. HARP did a great job.

They were really, really nice to deal with. We haven't made a decision yet but we're most likely going to have them do the work.

I met with 5 different companies regarding installing central air conditioning in our home. Three of those companies told me it would be impossible to get duct work into a finished walk in attic space attached to our bedroom. Harp came out and showed me just how easy it would be. Only one other company was able to show me how they would go about getting air conditioning into that room. That other company's price was about $1500 less and included a few more vents and duct work so we ended up going with them instead though.

They are on Angie’s List and they were terrific. They were very professional and neat. They had to go up into the attic to look and see if the air conditioner was working and everything. The technician was very pleasant and we had a good experience with them.

My furnace was very dirty and technican went the extra. for me these guys are good each time I call them they professional because what they going is great if you need work done by this company you won't be depointed

When we woke up on Monday morning and tried to warm up the house, the heat did not come on. We noticed the red light on the boiler and tried resetting it. Both our heat and hot water are dependent on the boiler working so getting someone in quickly who would do good work and be fair in price was a priority. I found HARP on Angie's List and called. The woman who answered the phone was lovely and said she could have someone out between 11 and 1. A little while later she phoned to say, she could send someone earlier. James who arrived and did the work was very professional and knowledgeable. It's only been a week, but the boiler is running fine and we are hopeful that the work done fixed any existing problems. I would recommend HARP.

The diagnosis portion of things went well. The tech was reasonably friendly. I understood what he was explaining, he seemed to be working at a reasonable pace. I understood what the plan was to accomplish what we called them about. (order part, they would call Monday to schedule follow up appointment). When we hadn't gotten a call to schedule the install for a week I called another Angie's List member who offered a substantially lower price on the control board (Harp wanted 150% more for the board) and the other company had a similar hourly rate to Harp. Can't fault someone for looking to make a profit, but I can fault them for poor communication. We understood we would hear Monday to schedule an appointment to complete the work and didn't, we still haven't 10 days later.
