+ 0 moreHe was very easy to get in touch with and very responsive. He gave us an estimate one year, and it was a bit expensive for us, but he was patient as we gathered other estimates and in fact we waited a whole year to do the project. He came back immediately to fix up one piece of trim around the door that didn't look as great as the rest of the house, and he didn't give me any attitude about it. He painted our neighbor's house and during that time I saw his crew working hard and effectively and her house came out great, so I got his number. Her house still looks great after three years, so I am optimistic that my house will look good for several years too. Many of our neighbors have commented on how great a job he did, including one who is home during the day and so got to watch the crew at work. The final cost was very close to the original estimate (within $100 I think). I would hire him again in a second.
Description of Work: Ron and his team did the exterior painting on our clapboard house. They used lead-safe procedures and were very forthright about what they could and couldn't do, what was worth the cost and what wasn't, etc. He painted the whole exterior, the trim, aluminum gutters and shutters, and the windows. He used one coat of primer and two coats of paint on most of the house (and one coat where it was not too bad). His estimate was a little higher than others but he was the only one who offered to do two coats of paint instead of one and his pricing scheme was the clearest in his estimate (everything was spelled out -- windows, trim, etc). The exterior paint was peeling and in pretty bad shape in some parts and he made it look fantastic.

+ 0 moreA great experience from start to finish. A fair quote, did the job when scheduled, and in only 5 days, including one day to power wash. Ron was on site every day to work and supervise. He communicated everything clearly and promptly. His crew was punctual, quiet, and neat. Cleaned up after themselves every day, and once they were done you wouldn't know they'd even been here. He went out of his way to match the paint color to what was already on the house. Now the house looks great. I dreaded having to get the house painted, but Ron made it all go smoothly. I wouldn't hesitate to use Ron or Dean for any paint job, inside or out.
Description of Work: Painted entire exterior of 5000 sq. ft house, including pressure washing, sealing nail heads, painted siding and trim. Washed and stained deck. He hired Dean Perkins to help. (Dean also has his own company.)

+ -1 moreHE DID A LOT WORK IN THE INSIDE OF MY HOME. HE SEEMED LIKE A VERY NICE MAN. HE CAME OVER AND GAVE US A GOOD ESTIMATE. HE TOLD US WHAT PROBLEMS COULD COME UP WITH THE PAINTING. HE EXPLAINED EVERYTHING VERY WELL.
Description of Work: HE PAINTED SOME OF THE ROOMS IN THE INSIDE OF MY HOME. HE FIXED SOME OF THE WALLS AND TORE DOWN SOME WALLPAPER. HE ALSO PUT SOME TRIMMING AROUND THE WINDOWS.
