We were extremely pleased with our experience with Artizon LLC and Mr. Wil Lazo, the owner. Mr. Lazo is very competent and easy to work with-- kind, considerate and patient. In our office construction project it was a matter of partitioning a portion of the ground floor of our home. Artizon installed a pair of sound proof doors and created a separate waiting room. Mr. Lazo is an expert finishing carpenter and he created an elegant set of double doors to separate the waiting room from the main office area. The Artizon crew were efficient and kept to our timetable. The whole job was completed with a minimum of disruption to the family's functioning. Artizon LLC has set the standard for quality of workmanship, cleanliness, and coming in on budget. We are very pleased with the results. We will be using their services again in the near future when we do a kitchen remodeling. We called Artizon again recently when we wanted to reconstruct our deck. This project involved the removal of an above ground pool and rebuilding the deck. The crew was very capable and they worked steadily through a difficult week of extremely high temperatures. Their work was very neat and professional. Unexpectedly, we had to suspend work, on our request because of an unexpected family emergency. Artizon helped us to tidy up the worksite and set up an interim arrangement, putting up temporary railings, building steps and camouflaging an unfinished area with lattice. Finally we had them return to complete the removal of the deck surface and building the new deck. We love it! We would not hesitate to use Artizon again and we wholeheartedly recommend them as excellent remodelers.

Overall it was a very good experience. Wil Lazo, the owner, was a very hands on general contractor who was always extremely accessible by phone or in person if requested. Wil had added a bedroom and an office to the existing structure which required both adding to the foundation, framing and roofing. This work was all done very quickly, professionally and with very good quality. The interior work was also very good but required more on hands attention from myself and my family. The workers provided good quality but did not provide the same quality as those doing the framing and roofing. In the end, they were good and Wil would always answer any issue/complaint we had in a very timely manner. There is some settling now that we will need to have Wil come and repair as he promised. Whenever we had an issue in the past, (i.e. skylight leaking which was partly due to chimney issue, not his issue) Wil always responded very quickly and fixed the problem. The plumbing, heating/cooling and electrical sub contractors Wil had used were all very good. They were reasonably priced and extremely helpful and Wil provided them excellent direction. My only complaint during the course of the work was that I had wished some of the additional costs associated with changes and what was/wasn't included in the initial estimate were more clear. Some of this had to do with my own expectations and knowledge and some was due to a lack of communication on the costs unless I explicitly asked up front. Overall satisfied with the services and quality Artizon construction provided.

He had some great ideas and was very thorough with the quote. He got back to us very quickly.

I found it satisfactory. This fellow seemed a little more knowledgable than another company that I had out. As he started he realized that the situation was worse than he thought and that he would have to replace the whole roof.

We got several estimates, and living in Greenwich, they were quite high. Wil was recommended by a colleague, and his estimate price was good. His change orders, by mutual agreement, were fair. Mainly, he did excellent work on time and on budget. He is busy, but almost never had to miss or postpone an appointment. If he did, he always let us know. A stand-up guy.

We met with 8 contractors, but only received 4 estimates. Artizon was the least expensive, but only by a small amount. We chose Artizon because of Wil Lazo, the general contractor. He was very professional and honest. We were happy throughout the experience. We ended up moving out of our home for three months during the renovations, but we visited nearly daily. The workers were there on time every day and worked late. They even worked on Saturdays, which was really appreciated by us since we were displaced. We never got the feeling that they weren't working as hard, as fast, or as well as they could. Along the way, whenever there was a dispute or question of any type, Wil's attitude was always that he wanted to make us happy and that they would address our concerns. (For example, the walls were being painted with latex paint and the wood trim and doors were too, but they looked streaky. We complained that they looked streaky and Wil agreed to redo the trim in oil paint, which solved the problem and looked much better.) We thought that we had included everything we wanted to do in the original contract, but along the way we added some work in change orders. I would recommend that you try to include everything you possibly want done in the original estimate because the price for small things seemed to go up along the way as we added them. Since our renovation, we have hired other contractors (driveway guy) who we have hated. Looking back, we realize how lucky we were that we got someone who actually showed up to work, returned calls and emails, and was professional. We would definitely hire Wil again for another job. The quality of the work was excellent and our home looks beautiful.

We started in June and hoped to move in around October (aggressive schedule). Mainly due to an independent appliance installers lateness, we moved in December. The job went well. It was my first remodeling experience and things were added along the way and changes were made. Wil was very helpful with the whole design process and very reachable.

We had a great experience with Will and his crew. They were very professional and detail oriented. Will walked me through the entire project before it started, he told me what I needed to get ready for him to start and keep to our time line. His estimate was very detailed so there were no hidden surprises. They kept the site very clean and also worked around my busy household. Will did a great job explaining things and always answered his phone when I called, even on weekends! Will also only accepted perfection on all the details to the project. I love my new bathroom! I would highly recommend Will Lazo and his crew at Artizon Construction.

Overall Excellent!

Fantastic. It was an emergency because a storm blew off my old rubber flat roof. They came right away, covered my roof with a tarp, gave met the best estimate and got the job done in a hurry before the next rain. They did such a good job I went ahead and did the rest of the roof with them.

My 1st project with Artizon was as a result of a leak in our building after days of heavy rain. They fixed the leak and replaced drywall in my bedroom within a few days and painted the room as if there was never a problem. They also completed an entire exterior siding job for our complex in about 2 weeks.
