Shortly after completion, noticed that several broken stones had not been replaced and the stone filler and joints between the stones were creaking.  It took over a month before all of the broken stones were replaced and the gaps in the joints repaired.  The contract with the company contained a one year guarantee.  After the winter, the material between many of the stones were cracked or missing, some of the stones were raised, thereby creating a hazard and many portions of the wood framing were coming out of the ground or pulling apart from each other since they were apparently not installed deep enough or anchored properly,   Calls were made to the business and when the owner finally came over, he stated that he could make the repairs but that he could not come back until toward the end of May.  He never came in May.  Called in first and second week in June.  In third week of June, left voice message that if did not hear from him within one week, would take appropriate action.  Owner returned last call in which he was aggressive, abusive and totally unprofessional.  Perhaps owner feels that taking the aggressive, abuse approach will result in the homeowner going away.  We found out that he did exactly the same thing to a friend of ours who used him and also complained after the job was done.  In that instance, our friend simply didn't want to deal with the abusive behavior and never did anything else.  KEEP AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!

The individuals were all very nice and polite and seemed knowledgeable.  Unfortunately, although the fundamentals were done well, the final stage (sealing) was a disaster.  Seal coat product bubbled up like crazy and manufacturer said it was a classic case of over-application.  Bestcrete tried to remedy the situation using 40+ gallons of a highly toxic chemical to think out the sealer (I wonder what that will do when it seeps into the groundwater).  The area has never been right and we still have issues years later.

I called, made an appointment for an estimate, then after meeting with another contractor chose BestCrete to do the work.

They were called Sunday August 30th, came August 31st for an estimate on work and they were hired to do job. Arrived 8 am Sept. 1 and finished Sept 3. They removed all parts of old sidewalk, some concrete, some asphalt and some large stone-which went down hill and curved. The straightened it, poured all concrete which was flat,(not downhill) level ,and did a very smooth connection to driveway and existing step. It was done very professionally. Workmen were polite, explained when we could walk on sidewalk, cleaned up everything and left has if they had never been there; except for the nice, level sidewalk
