Amazing service. The floors came out gorgeous, very professional job. Andy was constantly available and responsive, even getting to our job sooner than promised when we needed the work done quickly to sell our house. I could not be happier and am so grateful to have found this company. They do beautiful work and charge slightly less than others who gave me a quote. They clearly care about having happy customers and deserve their great reputation!

Couldn't have gone better. Andy (the owner) looked over our situation and gave us multiple options to accomplish our goal. This company doesn't mark-up the cost of materials. We picked out the flooring we wanted (pre-finished) at Lowe's & the Company placed the order, picked up the materials and brought them to our house. We paid Lowe's directly. The removal and installation crews were very professional. Treated the furniture that had to be moved with great care; kept dust, etc. to a minimum - even made sure the cats weren't too freaked out. There was some material left over which the company returned to Lowe's for us to get credited. The floor looks great & we would use these people again. Highly recommended.

Andy came right out to give us our free estimate. He forwarded us his number by that evening. His price came out less than half of all of the others we had come review the scope of work. He was able to start right away, and even though we werent quite ready, he was able to send his guys over to do the floor installation and then wait until the following week to start the sanding and refinishing. The floors were installed fast and beautifully. You cannot even tell where the new floor ends and the old floor begins. They even did a couple of sample stains so we could see what the colors we liked best looked like on our floor. Once we picked the color we wanted, Andy's men came out and started right away. They sanded, stained, and sealed the floors within 3 days and they look great. They were quick, clean, and very detailed oriented. They patched some areas of flooring by our closets, kept our trim nice and neat, and cleaned up after themselves. We are very happy with the way all of our floors turned out and will definitely be calling Andy and his crew back when we are ready to do the rest of the house.

Andy was able to install a new floor in the kitchen area and weave it into the existing dining room floor seamlessly. He sanded down all of our existing hardwood floors, patched some missing floor boards around our closet areas, and refinished everything with a great stain and polyurethane. We had about 3 other people quote the same scope of work and Andy came in half of what the others did. His workers were timely, efficient, neat, and accommodating. They were available immediately upon putting in our deposit. They came over first to install the new floor and weave it into the old floor. They allowed us a week to finish up some additional construction before coming to stain and finish. Andy even sent someone over to perform a couple of sample stains so we could pick the one that looked best in our home.

Andrew and his crew were great to work with from start to finish. I had no issue setting up the initial consultation, my quote was delivered in a very timely manner, and the crew was able to start the project in such a way that it worked perfectly based on my timeline. They were incredibly patient with me while I debated stain colors, completed the work within the timeframe discussed initially, and the floors look amazing. Great experience all around. I would work with them again if needed and would recommend them to anyone looking to have this type of work done in their home.

My wife and I called Hardwood Floors LLC / Kleen Floors in early June to refinish hardwood floors in a new home we expected to close in late June. We worked primarily with George, who was highly responsive, polite, friendly, kind, and helpful throughout the process. We initially selected the company due to low price and flexibility around start date. My wife was 9 months pregnant at the time of our move, so ability to get in immediately after closing and complete the job in a timely fashion was paramount. George first visited on a Sunday to walk through the house and give us a quote on a day we planned to visit the house from Brooklyn. Initially, we planned to refinish the first floor, stairs, and upstairs hallway, but George pulled back carpet in one of the bedrooms and identified hardwood in great condition underneath. We decided to tear up all carpet and refinish both floors in the end (~2,300 sq. ft. of hardwood, or ~75% of my house). George helped us select a dark walnut stain, took down a 50% deposit, and agreed to a start date of July 2nd (holiday weekend). The actual process and end product went far beyond expectations. George sent a team in led by Sebastian that quickly removed the upstairs carpet (through a sister handyman company), neatly stored all carpet and construction debris in two locations, did a beautiful job sanding, walked us through the house at various steps to outline minor issues (e.g., small gap between floor and baseboard in one bedroom), and communicated well throughout the process. At the end all carpet and trash was removed from the site and I received a text letting me know when it was OK to enter the house. The team worked three days total to complete a two floor job over a holiday weekend, only taking off July 4th. Thanks to their hard work, we were able to move in on July 6th before my wife's due date. We are extremely satisfied with the outcome and would hire them over and over again. In the end, Kleen Floors was not the cheapest option ("no stain" quote was very competitive but at least one other "stain" quote was ~7.5% cheaper), but once we started through the process with George it became apparent that this isn't something you contract out to the absolute lowest bidder. The floors look absolutely brand new throughout. Once we are able to paint the walls, our home will look 30 years newer. We highly recommend Kleen Floors for your next floor refinishing.

It turned out well. They seemed to work in a timely manner. They came and did a pretty good job. It wasn't what I expected that they were going to do. They didn't try to upsell me, but it seemed like they were going to put a different finish on the floor than they did. They just cleaned the floor.

What a great experience! Andy came right out to my home to look at the floors we wanted refinished and I had a quote in hand the next day. They scheduled it around our needs which was also very helpful. The crew showed up right on time on the scheduled date, completed the sanding and first two coats of poly, and came back the next morning to apply the final coat of poly. Such a fast and easy process and the floors look absolutely fantastic! I can't even believe it's the same hardwood. I'd absolutely recommend Kleen Floors for any refinishing job.

Started off on funny foot because there was a scheduling snag but owner recovered very graciously. Workman was courteous and finished results looks great.

Kleen floors did a great job sanding and staining the hardwood floors throughout our new house. We closed on the house June 25th and Kleen floors came out the very next morning to start work on refinishing 1300+ square feet of hardwood floors. The original estimation said the floors wouldn't be done until about 7/2. Well the crew ended up working through the weekend and my floors we completely done by 6/30, a full 2 days earlier than the original estimate. The house now looks 30 years younger due to the revitalized floors brought to life by Kleen Floors. My only negative about the whole situation is that there was a bit of a communication gap due to Andy being injured at the time of the initial estimate and his brother-in-law had to come out instead, so so there was some confusion at times because Andy not completely familiar with the project. But in the end that was a very, very minor issue and had no effect on how well the final product came out.

I called Andy the owner and he came over the next day and gave me a quote for the work to be done. A few days later his team, led by Sebastian, started the work. They used dustless sanders which really made the cleanup a lot easier. The sanding was completed in one morning and they put the first coat of stain on the floors at that time. The next day they arrived and put on the second coat of stain. The following two days they put one coat of polyurethane on the floors. The floors came out really nice and exactly matched the other floors in our house. Black is a tricky stain to match but Sebastian and his crew knew what they were doing and the work was fine. Sebastian and his team were punctual, arriving each morning around 8:00 A.M. The price was very competitive. It was a really good experience. I would use Kleen Floors again for any of our floor restoration needs.

I had complained that the owner did not keep his appointment, nor did he call about why finally did get a call from the owner, he explained that he was still in the hospital and that a medical emergency kept him from coming and calling I will attempt to use his services once he is back at work

Ultimately, Kleen Floors did not do the work on my floor but I felt compelled to write a review as the experience was educational and Andy refunded my money, in full, despite having put in a fair amount of time and effort. Andy and Kleen Floors came in after another flooring company had installed a floating hardwood floor without doing the proper leveling. This other flooring company was kicked out and I sought out a new flooring company to pull up the existing flooring, level the subfloor and reinstall the same engineered hardwood. Upon pulling up the flooring, Andy recognized immediately that the leveling required would be extensive and brought in a specialist that he had worked with. That specialist also said thate the leveling was too extensive and suggested bringing in a mason. The mason came in and did a preliminary pass at leveling. At that point, Andy came back and was uncomfortable using the existing flooring to do the job and still felt that the leveling was not sufficient to get us the quality floor we were looking for. While we parted ways with Andy at that point, his guidance and expertise were ultimately accurate. We eventually worked with our general contractor to purchase new flooring material and do additional leveling (all done by one vendor). While Andy was not that vendor (as he and his team were not interested in taking on the extensive leveling), I appreciated his responsiveness and forthrightness throughout the process. As you can imagine, the whole experience was trying for me and for Andy, but he refunded our money in whole and I would recommend his team for friends going down the path of a new flooring installation.

We were concerned there was a catch when Andy quoted us more than two times less than what 2 other companies were going to charge to refinish the hardwood floors in one very large and two smaller rooms. Even when we accepted his quote, we were expecting to see numerous hidden costs added to our final bill. Surprisingly, the total bill was the exact estimate Andy had given us. Talked to Andy on three separate occasions: 1) request estimate 2) to let him know when we wanted him to start job 3) to let him know what an amazing job he and his team had done.--in only 3 days. We were never there to meet Andy but we definitely wanted him to know that this entire process was more than a pleasure The cost and outcome cannot be beat. The finished product was beyond anything we could have imagined. I never thought you would be able to take these floors, that have not been touched by a cleaner or sander in over 4 decades, had numerous large stains deep within the wood, and bring them back to life the way you did!! Andy came two hours after my initial call! Gave me a price and scheduled me in for wed...two days later! The guys came at 8:00 am, were DONE the next evening. I had been waiting for a callback from three other companies for more than five weeks.... Andy completed the entire process in two days.

We are going through a kitchen renovation, and there was an old hardwood floor covered by two layers of vinyl. Andy took a look at the old hardwood, and didn't think it was salvageable. Our contractors then removed the 3 layers of flooring (2 vinyl, 1 old hardwood) and prepared the flooring. Andy's guy brought the select-grade white oak floorboards in and installed them. Since we were still in the process of getting the cabinets in, we elected to hold off on finishing the wood to minimize scratches. The floorboards are currently unfinished, but the plan is to have them sanded, stained and finished later this week. He will also be finishing a staircase that has probably not been refinished in 50 years.

Everything was great, the service was on-time and they did a great job. Would definitely recommend Kleen Floors to a friend.
