I used them before on a sink drain pipe. Both times they were efficient, on-time, professional. I am running my mother's household from 150 miles away. Mike Mancini has been understanding, easy to schedule with, knowledgeable and a delight to work with. Contacted him, explained the problem over the phone and he had someone out that afternoon. They located the leak, fixed it. They also took the time to check out the tub shower plumbing just to be sure that it was in working order. It is an older house, 80 years old, with access to much of this bathroom's plumbing through a small access panel in a closet. Can't praise them enough!
Description of Work: They found and fixed the leak in my mother's bathroom that was dripping into the downstairs. Old toilet plumbing was the culprit, but they checked out and OKed the shower/tub too.

Plumber was there for 15 minutes and charged $189 to unclog two slow drains in bathroom that connect into one trap. TOO EXPENSIVE!!!!
Description of Work: Needed to have slow drains in bathroom unclogged. Plumber was there for 15 minutes and charged me $189 to do work. Thank god, I had $25 coupon. I asked why it was so expensive and was told "BECAUSE WE ARE THE BEST". At that rate, Mike is making $1,572,480 per year. Really, I guess I will be seeking out a new plumber.

The owner was super nice on the phone and the plumber who showed up did a good job and was efficient... and was even nice to the baby! I thought it was a little expensive, but I expected it to be since they came same day, though I think the valve for the boiler cost more than the visit.
Description of Work: They showed up within a few hours of my call to repair leak in the shut off valve to the house, replace a leaking valve on the boiler and a leaky faucet.

On both occasions Mike arrived only slightly later than originally scheduled, but we were notified by phone each morning that he was running a little bit late, a courtesy that I much appreciated. Mike was polite, pleasant and had a sense of humor. He very quickly diagnosed each problem and explained what was needed. Mike worked rapidly and efficiently, then cleaned up any water or debris left in each area, including sweeping a bit of sawdust from the bottom of my kitchen cabinets, then putting my bowls and pans back in place. Replacing the water heater at my son's home was quite a job. Mike worked for almost 3 hours in all, as he had great difficulty draining the old tank sufficiently to make it light enough to be removed, due to an accumulation of sediment in the bottom of the old water heater. Nevertheless, in a super-human effort, Mike was finally able to pull the heavy old tank up the cellar stairs and out the front door without leaving any footprints on the rug. I was very happy with Mike's services and would recommend him to anyone. I don't have a frame of reference by which to evaluate the cost of all this work, but most of the bill was due to the new water heater installation at $980. By the way, Mike correctly identified the dishwasher problem, according to an appliance repairman who has since checked the dishwasher.
Description of Work: Mike installed a water supply to my refrigerator ice-maker, He repaired a leaky sink faucet, as well as a bathtub faucet, which would shoot off (!) when the shower was run. Mike also diagnosed a leak from my dishwasher as due to a cracked valve, which would need replacement by an "appliance" repairman. At my son's home, Mike fixed a leaky kitchen faucet, as well as a leak at the shut-off of the hot water supply to the washer in the basement. In addition, he got the kitchen sink disposal working again by retrieving some coins, which had accidentally fallen into the unit. Mike also re-positioned the dishwasher hose, which had been installed incorrectly and was causing water to back up in the bottom of the dishwasher. Mike made a second visit to my son's home to replace an old hot water heater.

I have used Advanced Plumbing and Heating on a previous occasion and was very satisfied with the service I received. I called them on the morning of July 5th. The individual that I talked with indicated that the plumber should be able to be at my home by 1pm, depending on the time required to complete their morning job. I received a call from the plumber indicating the time that he would arrive. He arrived on time. Quickly identified the cause of the slow drain and subsequently identified the source of a previously unidentified leak. He repaired the leak and cleaned the area. I am very satisfied with the work that was accomplished and the professional nature and ability of the plumber.
Description of Work: I had a bath tub drain that was draining very slowly. They cleaned out the drain and subsequently identified the source of a leak which they repaired.

The owner (Mike) was very cordial and professional. I had broken a pipe in my basement and needed prompt service. I called at 7am and the plumber was there by 8:30am. The price seemed high but the quality was very good. Overall, I would use Mike again.

I spoke with Mike on the phone who was very professional and courteous. He was flexible, and willing to send someone over the next day. The next day, Kris from Advance showed up, diagnosed the problem, fixed it (old house, old tub, big clog!), and was helpful in both explaining the issue as well as describing how to prevent it in the future. He was professional, informative, eager to be helpful, and spotless (they even wear boot covers to cover their shoes when walking in the house!). Problem solved!
