I used Advance Plumbing and Heating based on positive comments from Angie's list and I think I made a great choice. Joe did all the work (Joe the Plumber - must hear a lot of bad jokes about that one). When he first came, he diagnosed the problem and did a great job of explaining it to me. He told me that I could save ~$200 by opening up the ceiling myself (my leaky toilet made a water stain on the ceiling) and then calling him back to do the job. After I did that, Joe came back and did the work. Joe was extremely professional and I'm asking for him by name next time I need work done.

Ours was a most favorable experience! We utilized the services of Advance Plumbing & Heating in West Hartford, CT to replace our Hot Water Heater. The owner and on-sit repairmen were all exceptional. They performed the job when they said that they would - on a rush basis no less. The work performed was done professionally and completely and at the price competitively quoted. Also, they followed-up the following day to verify our acceptance of their services rendered. I will use this quality contractor in the future and will recommend them to family and friends without hesitation.

AWESOME! He came in a clean uniform, and left filthy as ever. But he didn't stop working until our pipes were clean. We had tons of questions of what could have caused this and what to do to prevent it. He was very knowledgable in his work. He was able to answer them all and gave soundful advice. Kris was very professional and friendly.I would recommend this company to anyone!

Joe had to snake the drain 4 times until he could be sure it was fully unclogged. The whole job took him 2 1/2 hours, so at the end I was convinced the price was reasonable.
