Advance Plumbing did an excellent job We were able to get a same day inspection. Kris was very thorough in his inspection and explained everything he was doing and why. He repaired the problem and made sure all of our questions were answered.

I contacted Advance Plumbing & Heating to remove an old toilet and install a new one. I had hired this company in the past for a drain repair and everything went very well. This time, however, it didn't. I made an appointment for around 2:00PM. I was told by the owner that the appointment time may be a little later if the service person runs into any unforeseen problems on the job prior to mine. That is understandable. However, when 4:30PM came and I had waited for this person for 2 1/2 HOURS, I was done. No one had shown up and I didn't even get a phone call advising me that the service technician was running late, or even if he was going to show up at all. It is UNACCEPTABLE to keep customers waiting like this without even providing updates on the whereabouts of the service person. After that, I left my house. If he showed up after that, too bad. I would never hire this company again.

They did a wonderful job with a difficult task. They went the extra mile to provide a good solution and they exceeded our expectations.

The experience was a positive one. We called Sunday morning and they were willing and able to send someone on Monday but we weren't going to be home so they set it up for fist thing Tuesday morning. The gentlemen arrived on time, worked efficiently, cleaned up everything, thoroughly explained the new heater set up and were done in about 2 hours. They were able to get a locked up valve to work but we decided to replace it. Tom had a replacement valve with him so he was able to take care of that for us as well. All and all a very pleasant experience. I'm not sure if the price was competitive as we did not get any other quotes.

Our drain had become loose due to a part breaking underneath the sink. A new part was installed and the leak was fixed. I would use this company again for any future plumbing needs.

Very responsive, on time, repairs were done properly. When I called about a question on the billing, they were also very responsive to get back to me and resolve the issue.

After initial contact, Mike was quick to respond (same evening even) and quick to make an appointment to come out and look at the work I needed done. He was professional, efficient and with a "no-nonsense" attitude. He knows he is not (by far) the cheapest, and works hard to earn the premium he charges. After the quote, we had a bunch of questions which we submitted via e-mail. All the questions were answered within a day or two. Scheduling of the project was also simple with a week or two waiting-time. At this time, I also asked if he would be willing to let his guys perform a side-task if there was time left at the end of the day. The quote was essentially for them to come out and work for a full day anyway, so I figured no harm in asking. Mike made no promises, except that he was fine with that, time permitting. The day of the appointment, Mike called to introduce the crew that would come over, and also give me a head's up they were running behind by about 15 minutes. In my book, calling ahead to notify of a delay makes most delays perfectly okay, things happen and the important thing is communication. The 2 man crew arrived, they had a list of the work to be done and we started by quickly going over the work items. Midway through, Mike also arrived, and went over the work items in a bit more technical detail between themselves (how/where to run pipes etc). During the day, the slop-sink they brought was replaced with a wall-mount unit (the floor-based unit did not allow for enough grade on the drain). The new sink was express delivered by 3rd party to my place and I didn't even know there had been an issue until it showed up. Great attention was given to details and they didn't skip on hardware. In fact, as part of moving the water line to one of the outdoor faucets, they replaced the old shut-off valve with a nice ball-valve (easy to actuate). I noticed the toilet that had been installed was not the Kohler toilet, which, when I pointed out to the crew, was brought to Mike's attention right away. Mike personally brought over the correct toilet, apologizing for the mix-up (his administrative assistant was out that week). The correct toilet was installed, and best of all, they still found time to inspect the storm-drain pipe at the rear of the property at the end of the day. They cleaned up well after themselves and I would definitely use them again. The biggest thing to keep in mind is that you will be paying more for their services, but its important to realize that part of that extra cost goes to cover unforeseen things (be it extra time to re-route a line, extra hardware/fittings, etc.) so that they know they can do the job in the best way possible and not nickle and dime you for every little thing that comes up. This is why I think their price is "Fair", because if all you go for is price regardless of quality or service, you can do better elsewhere.

Nick A was the service provider from Advanced Plumbing and did a great job. The company called me at 8:10 and let me know he was on his way. Nick then showed up at 8:32 for an 8:30 appointment. Perfect! Throughout he was friendly and courteous. He found additional issues with the pipe then what we first discussed and took his time to deliver the best quote. He did an excellent job. I look forward to working with him again.

Advance Plumbing & Heating returned to finish an outside faucet repair. "Jeff" (and his inside partner "Bonnie") kept me current on their quest for parts to a special freeze resistant faucet that was installed over 20 years ago. The original pieces were replaced with bronze metal fittings, tested and then Jeff explained what to expect and why the kit was a "fix" that should last for a very long time. He and Advance had given me a $25 coupon, based on my senior status and as a referral to Angie's List. That was applied to the completed job costs. The Advance Plumbing focus on customer satisfaction and support was again evident from the moment he arrived to when he left. Good company with superbly skilled professionals, based on my experiences.

There are not enough good words to describe the entire experience I had with Advanced. I was scrambling to find a plumber because a basement fixture drain was no match for my small plumbing snake, and we had wastewater spilling onto the basement floor when we ran most of the fixtures in the house. Things got off to a great start when they answerd the phone after a couple rings. So many service providers nowadays are so busy that they don't pick up, or a machine tells you to leave a message. I remember the feeling of relief that a person actually picked up the phone. They said they'd send somebody to my house within about 2 hours, and gave a 2-hour window for when the person would show up. Jeff, the service technician, arrived promptly at the beginning of the appointment window. He was professional, courteous, clean, personable, etc. He quoted me a price before starting the work, which is always appreciated. He worked for almost two hours to snake out the particularly difficult clog, tested the cleaned pipe several times to ensure it was draining properly from the fixture all the way through the house trap, and gave me some tips on how to handle the original cast iron piping in my house.

Jeff was just superb, courteous and quite complete in his explanations--I would use Advanced for any plumbing need without reservation.

The experience was incredible. The initial call I placed to their office on a Saturday afternoon resulted in a plumber calling me back within 20 minutes. About an hour later, someone showed up to my house, diagnosed the problem, and repaired it in less than 2 hours. The repair included removing the old sump pump, installing a new one, and fixing the pipes leading to the outside as they were not installed correctly in the first place.

All went well with the technician arriving on time, and working diligently to solve problem and leaving after cleaning up.

We have not had the work done yet but have been very impressed by this service provider so far.

It was an unsatisfactory experience. The technician who came out, was a little disheveled, and he couldn't fix what was wrong. He said that we had a torpedo in the basement that was leaking, and he said that he didn't know what the model was. He said he would call us back after getting to the office, but he didn't call us. That was a waste of 75 Dollars that I had to pay. Our plumbing is still leaking, but we haven't called another plumber, because it is not so bad. I would give them an F grade except that the girl on the phone was good. They were very responsive, and he was on time. I won't use them again.

First appointment met expectations; seemed like a good referral. Quote never received after two additional calls and requests. Owner committed appointment after third call but never showed up and never called.

Advance mechanic cleaned off the pump and explained what happened to it and why it wasn't working. Got it to work and saved me a good amount of money by not trying to sell me something I did not need. I will use them for all my plumbing needs in the future.

Dan provided an honest appraisal of the system and let me know the expected cost of bleeding the pipes given the design of the system. It was determined that the service was not essential given the job and cost involved.

I bought this special, and the plumber came promptly and inspected my home plumbing and answered some questions. He was able to identify a specific problem as originating in the kitchen faucet and not in the pipes, and encouraged me to ask the company for a new faucet. That worked out well. He was informative and helpful although did not perform any actual work. |I ended up hiring a plumber who lives closer to do routine work.

One of the person came on time and performed the small work and it was good but the price was very high for 15 mins with a seal costing 6 bucks so if the price is is less then i can go for next time so request top have the estim ates were informed on phone so that it will be easy for us to call or not, if not it is a rip off
