It went excellent. They came right away and did a thorough inspection. Very pleased with their service and everything is working great.

The guys at Advanced are extremely nice. They explained things well, weren't pushy in which course of action to take. Responsiveness left something to be desired. They were scheduled to come out and never showed, never called. They had emergency jobs which took priority, I get that, but a call would have been nice. When they were able to come and start the job, the tech who'd been out before was dealing with personal issues that were very apparent in his frustration level and the amount of curse words he used all day. At the end of the day, and 3 visits, the job was complete and overall I am pleased.

Great, the workers were respectful, professional, and knowledgeable. Workers looked over all the jobs I needed fixed, in detail and answered all my questions. Came back in the house with a written quote for each job to be completed. I then picked the jobs and the work to be completed right then. Just moving to Middletown I was very happy with overall service, professionalism, and work completed. Workers covered work area before starting and had me look at the work when completed, the did a very good job cleaning everything in there work area. Will call back Advanced Plumbing and Heating for any needs in the future.

The bathtub drain went fine except that the plumber who came removed the built-in latch thing and I was never able to fit it back in. :( The heating problem took a lot of effort. The first team they sent just replaced the thermostat. I called and said that the problem wasn't fixed. Mike (the head guy) sent out somebody he thought could do a better job, and that person spent several hours diagnosing a complicated problem with the boiler that ultimately solved the problem. I would use them again but I was frustrated that the first team was not up to the job.

The owner was the one that came out and they came out the day that we called which I thought was fantastic. The guy, I believe it is Mike, he's the owner, he saw this toilet plans that was scammed. In his spirit of helping me out, his intent was to top it out, hand it to me and be on his way, no charge and no expectations. He just was willing to help out. In trying to repair it, he ended up breaking it more and so the next day, he brought back two other guys and took care of it. They didn't charge a thing. They did it without destroying the floor the I just put in, the ceiling or the floor below. They were very creative, has an effective solution and the ability for him to just come in and do it because he messed it up more than it was. They did a great job and went above and beyond the service. They were courteous and nice to be around. I spent half a day with these guys helping them out. I'm somebody who very much cherishes and values companies that are willing to go above and beyond. I offered to pay a little bit and they wouldn't even have it. They will absolutely be the plumber that I use in the future.

Paul arrived and assessed the bathroom to see what needed to be done. He was happy to answer questions about a few other minor things, then he set to work. After less than 2 hours the work was done. He took the vanity door off its hinges to avoid damaging it while he worked, and he even hooked up the supply lines for the sink. Paul was friendly, courteous, and thorough. I made the right choice to call Advance.

Wow. What an exceptional service!!! Tim Connelly, the customer service manager, promptly responded to my online message and followed with a call. Their expert technician Nick showed up wtihin 30 mins, evaluated the problem, provided a crisp and clear estimate and successfully repaired the issue and replaced the faulty parts. The experience exceeded all our expectation. They're great. Highly recommend.

Mike did excellent work and was punctual. If MDC had not shown up about 1 hour late, he would have been in and out in just about one hour.

They also worked on the toilet to fix the leak.

I supplied the filters. We have always had a great experience with this company.

Turns out the real issue was not simply a clog. Price was quite steep for services provided (unfortunately I'm not experienced with plumbers, so I learned that after the fact). Guys were friendly and knowledgable, but once we found the problem (piping pitched incorrectly by previous home owner, which caused a propensity to clog). After we found the real issue during the second visit, and after being charged an additional $475 dollars (not included in the $700 above) basically for using the camera to see what was in the drain, I was told to "call back in 7-10 days, maybe 2 weeks" (given how busy they were) to schedule another visit for them to investigate and come up with a plan to fix... meanwhile I'd not be able to use my master bathroom. I decided to go ahead and find a different service provider - I completely understand that they're busy, but it took a week to get someone out there after my follow-up call, and then asking me to wait 2 weeks to get things fixed, just wasn't what I wanted to do. Again, these guys were professional and quite knowledgable - but ultimately i was disappointed and now after having someone else fix the problem, feeling a bit "gouged". Not trying to knock these guys down, just giving an honest review of my experience (i.e. if you look at my scores, they're not bad, most folks seem to go A's across the board OR D's and F's if things didn't go 100% perfectly, thats not my style, trying to give an honest and useful review here which is the point, right :) ). They ARE good plumbers, that was definitely evident.

I was very happy with the professionalism in every aspect. The serviceman was on-time (actually early but I received a call) and got right to diagnosing the 2 problems. He wrote out an estimate before performing the repairs and showed me what needed to be done. The repairs were done well - everything is working beautifully and the workspace was left clean and picked up. This person was very respectful and came prepared to work. I have not had any problems with the repairs. I found that the company responded very quickly to my Angie's List request. The price was perhaps more than I imagined but I find that to be often the case with the better providers. I asked if he was going to apply my Angie's List discount when I went to pay and he said that they apply that automatically. I guess that's the difference between booking them with the advertised discount and actually having a coupon that I can print and hand to them, like for the Big Deals. Anyway - I'm new to the ways of Angie's List and how this all works but I am very happy with the repair.

Great service and I would certainly recommend this company.

I contacted them about 10 days later and they said the water test was not back yet And that it can take 10 days to 2 weeks. Almost 6 weeks later I called again and they had just gotten my water sample back. They sent a quote and a nice apology explaining there was a problem with the water test vendor. We are deciding whether to move forward or not with them.

It went fine. I would use them again. Mike (the owner) is very friendly and knowledgeable.

These people were excellent. Mike Mancini was on time for all appointments, and was able to give me a quote the very first day as to what the cost would be. The cost was in line with what I expected and included removal of the old oil burner and furnace as well as the oil tank and disposal. They were quick and efficient and courteous as well as cleaning up after themselves. I was very pleased with the whole experience and will definitely use them in the future for all my plumbing and heating needs. They make you feel like you are the most important client they have. All phone calls are returned promptly and all questions are answered thoroughly. The entire crew of men were highly trained extremely efficient.

After searching Angie's List for a plumber to repair a 2nd floor shower that was leaking through the kitchen ceiling, I called Advance Plumbing and Heating. Yes, the reviews were encouraging but it was experiencing first-hand their superior quality service today that has earned them my accolades. My initial call at 8:15 am was answered by Mike who asked me to describe the problem as best I could. He told me that, although all of his service technicians were heading out to their morning appointments, I could be assured that I would hear back from him as soon as a technician became available. By 10:00 am, Mike called back to say that Jeff would be dispatched to my house between 1:00 and 2:00 pm. Jeff arrived on time, identified himself/his company and asked me several questions. He listened intently, asked to see the kitchen ceiling that had sustained water damage from the leak and then asked to see the 2nd floor tub/shower in an effort to isolate the source of the problem. Within minutes Jeff correctly diagnosed the problem, quoted me an estimate, obtained all of the necessary hardware from his truck and, before the hour was up, had successfully fixed the leak! I was impressed with Jeff's thoroughness in troubleshooting, his knowledge of his trade, his personable nature, his willingness to help me understand every step of the repair process and his attention to detail being certain the leak had been isolated as well as making sure the shower hardware/tub were squeaky clean when he finished. He even wiped the soles of his shoes before he stepped out of the tub! An added bonus was a $25 Angie's List membership discount!! Jeff (and Mike) from Advance Plumbing are, without a doubt, the best.

Excellent service. My water heater had been leaking for a few days and I was immediately helped when I called. I had taken the day off from work and never thought that I would get same day service. Mike was in the neighborhood and stopped by to determine what I needed. Within the hour, he was back with one of his workers to install the new water heater. Job was done quickly. I would definitely call Advance again.

This company way over charged me for a simple garbage disposal installation and to snake the drain. I got charged 635$! Everyone I have talked to has said how ridiculously high that is. I will never use this company again.

It turned out great. It took less than half a day to install and they installed it well.

Amazingly quick service. Technician arrived to do the work very shortly after I placed the first call. He was very efficient, pleasant, informative, answered questions, and cleaned up afterwards. So far so good. Couldn't ask for better service. It's true that I could have purchased the replacement kit (as I have in the past) but it took me forever to figure out how to do that repair myself and my time is worth the cost of the labor to do the repair. Also, I can now be confident that it is actually repaired properly.
