Company scheduled appointment as soon as I reached out to them through Angies. Appointment was kept and installation completed quickly. After a couple of days it turned out that the faucet was not working (which was due to product defect the faucet had). Advance Plumbing came back and installed a replacement faucet at no charge although I had purchased the faucet myself and the issue was not related to their installation. Very professional and customer focused.

I discovered problem, called and they were there the same day. Very helpful and very nice.

One of the 2 furnace circulator pumps failed. As a consequence, one of the heating circuits in our house (lower floor) did not receive hot water and the floor became cold. Night temperatures were well below freezing. I called Advance in the morning and they sent someone out on the same day in the late afternoon. Because of the recent record cold wave, the company was very busy and I was glad to receive same day service. Kevin, the plumber/technician was very friendly, professional and had all the right tools and equipment on board of his truck, including a proper circulator pump for exchange. He completed the job in about two and a half hours and made sure the heating system worked properly. We are very satisfied.

The N/A rating for price is due to the fact we did not get quotes from any other plumber as we just wanted to pipe fixed ASAP! Not having experience in this field, we did not feel qualified to rate their price. What gives Advanced the A rating is great service from Tim and Stan. Tim was responsive and communicative over the phone, and Stan did more than just come, fix the pipe and leave. As first time home owners he provided us with a "Piping 101" as far as how our home was setup and what was working and what wasn't. He helped us understand what happened and why and how we could avoid it in the future. He seemed genuinely concerned, caring, and passionate about his job providing that little extra compassion that you don't find too often these days.

I was in from New Jersey to have a new dishwasher and garbage disposal installed in my condo. I found Mike through Angie's List. I called and made the appointment. There was a terrible snow storm (unexpected) on the day of my appointment. Regardless, Michael E. was at the condo before the appointment time. He was extremely polite and professional. Since he needed a part, he couldn't finish the job while he was there. We set up a time for the next morning. Much to my delight, he was able to retrieve the needed part and returned to complete the job. I would recommend Advance without hesitation.

The day we discovered the leak & called, they sent out Michael to assess & quote us the cost of the repair by the end of the day. We were able to set up the repair for a few days later (our schedule). Michael returned, on time, did a great job, no mess, cleaned up, overall did a great job! We definitely recommend this company.

We woke up to a very leaky kitchen faucet and called Advance Plumbing around 8:30 am. Tim, who was our phone contact, was extremely polite and said they could have someone there by 9:00 am - wow! Jeff, the plumber, arrived at 9:00 am sharp. He looked at the problem, explained the situation, and concluded we really needed a new faucet. This was not a total surprise, as we had been having other problems with the faucet for months. He checked his truck but did not have the model we desired. We called the place where we purchased the faucet many years ago but they didn't have one in stock and ordering it would take a few days. We called Tim to see if he had any suggestions about where we might get the replacement that day. He actually gave us quite a few leads. We followed up on his first lead and found out that they had our faucet in stock. We called Tim back to make an appointment for later in the day and he even volunteered to have one of his people pick the faucet up, since they were in the town where it was available. That saved us a trip. On top of that Tim only charged us the contractor's price, not the retail price. Jeff came back right after lunch with the new faucet and installed it. He was pleasant and professional throughout the whole process. The total cost was $415 for parts and labor. We we're extremely pleased with the team at Advance Plumbing and would use them again.

Mike arrived on schedule and spent a good deal of time with us and our tenant, evaluating all of the minor issues that our tenant had. He was courteous and very helpful.

The service manager Tim responded quickly and he was able to arrange the repair on the weekend on a short notice, which we are very grateful for, given that our kitchen was not usable.

My entire experience with Advance Plumbing & Heating Inc- Newington has been very positive. I decided to join Angie's list to search for reliable plumbers. I came across the high ratings of Advance Plumbing & Heating Inc- Newington and decided to give them a call for my plumbing issue. I called Advanced Plumbing on a Tue and was greeted by a pleasant receptionist. I was expecting either an answering machine or reaching voicemail as I have so many times before with other plumbers. When I spoke with the receptionist and described the problem, she mentioned that she could have someone take a look at the issue the next day. On Wed, Stan from Advance Plumbing showed up promptly for the appointment. He assessed the issue and answered all my questions. He called the front office to discuss estimate and potential schedule for the work. When he returned, Stan gave me a fair price for excavation, removal and replacement of the new drainage pipe in the basement. He also told me that he could get the work done on Fri. I signed the contract. Advanced did not charge me for the estimate as some other plumbers do. On Friday a crew arrived promptly in morning. The crew was very courteous and friendly. They answered all my questions and walked me through what was going to be done during the day. When the crew noticed how severe the drainage pipe was clogged, they contacted the owner of Advance Plumbing & Heating Inc of Newington. The owner suggested that in addition to replacing the clogged pipe, a thorough pressure/power wash be done in the drainage pipe from the house to the street main to ensure there was no blockage. Within an hour, another crew member arrived and was as courteous and friendly as the primary crew. He explained the whole pressure washer process with me and assured me that any remaining blockage from the house to the street main would be taken care of through the pressure washer. While the work was being done, I stayed in the basement to watch. During the job, I mentioned to the crew how I found Advance Plumbing & Heating Inc- Newington and the high ratings on Angie's List. It was very clear to me how much they all liked working at Advanced Plumbing and took pride in their work. My whole experience from start to finish was outstanding starting from a friendly receptionist, the prompt assessment of the issue and the work to resolve the issue. What impressed me the most was that Advanced Plumbing was very proactive to ensure my problem would be solved and to ensure any clogs were removed from the house all the way to the street main. This additional service and having another crew member pressure wash the main drainage pipe was at NO ADDITIONAL COST. Overall, the crew was prompt, did an excellent job, cleaned up after the work was done and performed additional services to ensure the job was 100% complete. Thank you, Advance Plumbing & Heating. Woke up today to no hot water, and a leak in the hot water heater. Called the place we have given a lot of business to, and had a good experience with, and they told me they were booked solid for at least a week, maybe two. Hit up Angie's List and found Advance. They had me email a couple pics so they could get a preliminary idea of the situation, and the equipment involved. A short while later, someone was on the way. In-person assessment determined it was a replacement, and several options were offered. We came to an agreement, and just a few hours later they are done and gone. Mike the owner stopped by to check in and offer a hand with the heavy lifting. He and Corie the technician were both class acts. These guys deserve your business.

Quick and effiicient job producing exactly what I was looking for. After the job was done, I had an issue with my hot water and thought it might be due to the work that was done but a different technician came out for free to double check the work and I am confident that my new issue is not related to the work they did. On top of it, I got free estimates for the initial work and then my new issue when they came back to validate the work. I feel they're a very honest team to work with and would definitely use their services again.

The project went very well. We were very pleased. The cost was the same as the original estimate. The team handled everything, including the re-piping, some sheet-rock restoration, and repainting of the full basement ceiling. The coordination went very smoothly. Mike and his team were very flexible. During the course of this project, for a very modest cost, they helped us out on a separate project and repaired our kitchen ceiling, that had been damaged a long time ago. We were pleased to Mike Mancini (owner) took time in the beginning to help figure out the root cause of our problem. As we planned out the project, but before the re-piping work took place, we did have one last last pin-hole leak from the original faulty pipes. On short notice, Mike came by on a Sunday morning to repair the leak, so that our family would have available water in the house that weekend. No extra charge for this repair. We appreciated this sacrifice. There have been no problems with leaks in the basement, since the re-piping work was done.

I called early in morning advising them that my tub was backed up and would not drain. Mike E. came early afternoon and fixed the problem. He cleared tub line stoppage. After he fixed the problem he scrubbed my tub clean and return everything back where it belong in the bathroom. Mike was very pleasant and professional. I would call them again with any plumbing problem.

Was a difficult job. Required patience and persistence. Had to go the extra mile to find the stoppage. Other plumbers have been in but did not solve the problem which has been building up for decades.

That went okay. I have no complaints. They came when they said they would, the gentleman who came was very well informed, he did exactly what I needed done. There was no derogatory experience. My dish washer is running, I haven't had any problems since then. It was affordable and the end result is exactly what I wanted and hey did it in a reasonable length of time. I have an in wall AC unit and last year it wasn't working well, it just quit. I didn't want it to go through the summer without it working, I asked them for a quote and I didn't really get one. First they asked me to measure it and I said I preferred someone else measuring it because I wasn't confident enough about my abilities. They told me when somebody would come. I believe I told them that I would only be home say like 1:00 o'clock that day and I had to be somewhere else.They didn't come until after I'd left here, I had no idea that they came, when I contacted them, they told me that someone had already been there and had measured it from the outside. I wasn't totally comfortable with that. The bottom line is, I changed out the filter and cleaned it out and its been running fine so I never had to pursue that issue. But I just wasn't happy with their response to that. I think the price was reasonable, it was something I could afford.

Well, I am still working with them. They are waiting for the parts to come in. So far, they are responsive and very good. They get a very high rating. They are personable and go out of the way to help you. To me they are excellent.

The guy verified that the disposal was not repairable. He installed an industrial grade insinkerator disposal.

I called Advance to reconnect the pipework from my garbage disposal out after I had new counters and sink put in. They were very professional on the phone and very helpful. They scheduled someone to come out the very next day. They were on time and the person, Michael E., who they sent out was great. Michael E. was very professional and polite. He was extremely knowledgable and performed the work quickly and it looks great. I would recommend Advance to everyone, especially Michael E.

We discovered a leak in our master bathroom tub/shower area about one week prior to Advance Plumbing making the repair. Prior to their analysis we had two other plumbing companies provide us with analysis of the problem, recommended solution, and estimates for the repair. Each of these companies did a visual inspection of the plumbing, shower walls, shower pan, and surrounding walls. Each recommended that the entire shower/tub area must be demolished and all new walls and fixtures installed for a complete. Cost for this started at around $15,000. The Advance Plumbing plumber tested the plumbing, shower floor, and pan under pressure, not just visually, and identified our problem as leaks in the shower and tub plumbing fixtures due to age and gradual disintegration. His solution was to install all new hardware and plumbing for both tub and shower at a cost of $3,000. To date, this repair is working, with absolutely no leaks. We are extremely grateful to Advance Plumbing for their accurate analysis of our problem, saving us a great deal of money and mess. They guarantee their work, adding to our satisfaction with their work.

I called Advance as I used them once before and had very good luck. I had a new P-trap installed after I put a new vanity and sink into a half bath back in January. Their technician did a great job, he answered all my questions, and the price was reasonable despite the "B" I had seen on their Angie's List page. When their technician Mike arrived today, he certainly lived up to my expectations! He was prompt, courteous, and demonstrated real concern for the fact that he would need to cut into a wall and ceiling to make the repair, to a leaking bathtub drain above my living room. The living room has a faux wall about 2 feet away from the cinder block firewall between my condo and my neighbor's, which accommodates a fireplace. Built into the wall on the side where the leak was located is a wood box, lined with old boards, that stretches back from the faux wall to the firewall. Mike realized that if he could get through the top of the wood box, he would be able to access the pipes he needed without cutting through any drywall, and that's exactly what he did! Major kudos to him for thinking outside the box and saving my recently-painted wall and ceiling! Mike had the repair done in about 3 hours and was very thorough about cleaning up after himself. As requested, he left all the parts behind for the insurance adjuster to inspect. My only shock came when he presented me with the bill. I've heard from others who had similar work done, involving cutting into drywall, and was expecting a bill close to $1,000. This bill was twice that! I paid it, which may have been a mistake, but I'm still in shock. Guaranteed I'll be shopping around the next time I need plumbing work done.

It went fine. The man sent was new and had some trouble finding the right flapped on the truck. The first one he put in didn't work. After that all was resolved.

No previous relationship with the provider. Obtained name & contact information from Angie's list website. Called and they had someone at the house in less than 2 hours. Repairman identified the problem as leakage from the pan of the dishwasher. He then shut off water flow to stop the leak. Rating is due to the quick response and professionalism demonstrated by the repairman and the reasonable cost for same.
