Chris was so wonderful. He went above and beyond on every task he did. None of these fixes were easy and he tackled every one with ease. The outside outlet he installed was done on one of the hottest days this year and he was in the sun. He wanted no assistance and didn't rush. The outlet was too low to the ground and not attached to the wall, it always got wet. He built it higher, put a waterproof cover on it (the last electrician had the cover on upside down) and he attached it firmly to our foundation. Beautiful job. All the repairs he did came out beautiful. The under the cabinet lights needed the wires to be hidden, boxes added and all was done perfectly. He was a joy to be with as a person and more than a joy as a professional. We would absolutely and without hesitation recommend him to any one. Thank you Chris! You and your work are outstanding.

Chris was awesome! He was in contact within two days of purchasing the Electrician for a Day deal through Angie's List. Because he literally lives around the corner from me, he was able to get started fairly quickly because he could fit me in between other appointments. He was able to work around my schedule by splitting the eight hours of work up in a few trips. He installed a ceiling fan in our bedroom from soup to nuts. There was no existing fixture, so he had to run the wires and install a new mount. He had it done and running smoothly and quietly in no time. And I can't emphasize this enough... he was very neat. He was very careful not to get plaster and sheet rock dust all over our bedroom! He also cleaned up after himself. He quickly wired an outlet I requested in the garage as well as one outdoors. He is coming back to install a new spotlight on the garage and swap out a light fixture in our foyer. Bottom line is that Chris is very knowledgeable and does excellent work!

No problems, Chris contacted me directly, promptly after I booked on Angie's List and we discussed what I needed done, he asked further questions and answered and we set up a time. Chris was on time and after going thru the house and discussing what was to be done he started the work and did not stop until done. I had intended to replace the bathroom fan/ light/heater unit in the bathroom but Chris noticed that there was a possibility of just replacing the exhaust fan instead of the entire unit, he called the company to confirm fan replacement (yes) so exhaust fan was ordered and replaced and the unit was returned for a savings of $200. After the exhaust fan was received Chris came back to install as was on time again and courteous. I would definelty recommend Chris.

I had already used Chris on another project before, so was pretty confident about his skill set. As expected Chris was punctual and did a fantastic job in installing the recessed lights. I had purchased his 8 hours of labor but the job took a little bit longer than the 8 hours so he just gave me an extension of labor time at the same rate. He showed up the next day to finish up the job. I did have to pay for materials but all in all it was a great experience and we would def use his services again in the future.

I purchased the "Electrician for the day" deal for $395. Chris was prompt, courteous, and professional. When an item was completed he immediately asked "what's next?" and moved on to the next issue. I have an older home and the doorbell was a little tricky, but he kept at it and I now have working door chimes (they haven't worked in many years!). I would definitely hire again for future projects.

I was very surprised when the response came back that availability was 3rd week of May. That is 5 weeks out. A service provider should not be offering services with such a big backlog. I did appreciate a prompt response.

Chris responded immediately to my message to set up a date for the work. He called the day before to go over exactly what I needed done. He arrived fifteen minutes earlier than I booked (which was fine with me). With out any problems he just went from one job to the next, he even replaced an outlet in my daughters room when I added it to the list last minute. We hired Additional Help for 8 hours for $395 under the "Electrician for the Day" program. Christopher worked his butt off the ENTIRE 8 hours! He never took a break. I was exhausted watching him! We couldn't get anyone to fix our foyer light because the wire was broken somewhere in the wall or ceiling. We were told by others the wall and ceiling would be severely damaged so they wouldn't even try to do the work. Chris was our last hope. He cut two clean, minimal holes and fixed the problem! After repairing the wiring, he replaced the drywall and was even preparing to mud it! I was shocked he hadn't used up the 8 hours on this issue like I had expected. He ended up installing 3 more outlets and there was STILL 45 minutes left on our contract! Instead of packing up, he raced to install one more outlet. I've never seen this kind of service! Chris was awesome and I highly recommend him! When we are ready to make improvements, I will DEFINITELY call him again.

The contractor was quite insistent that he come in the morning (the earlier the better, in his point of view), which does not work for me. I am concerned that the work I need done might well take more than two hours, as it involves finding a GFI either removed or hidden behind dry wall during a remodel three years ago. The contractor could not give me any hints about this issue (and that could well be impossible). The more I think about it, the more my gut tells me not to attempt this repair at this time, as I absolutely cannot afford to pay for any additional time. The fact that I was really pressured on the phone to consent to an early (early, for me) morning appointment makes me suspect that he wanted to come early because he expects the work to take all day. I just can't take that risk at this time.

Chris handled the installation of the external light with ease. While he did that I drove to Home Depot to buy a kit to replace the under cabinet lighting. Chris used the new and the old kit together, testing each part to determine which parts were not working. He then had to work the new lines through the cabinets, drilling new holes where necessary. He positioned the new external switch with dimmer capability. A full two hours of work and problem solving.
