R & B Refrigeration, Inc. is an excellent company. I have a background in working with small businesses and was a business counselor for a large university in Connecticut. This company was wonderful to work with and the office and field personnel are polite and efficient. It is hard to believe that in today's world that a company puts their customers concerns before their profits and listens to their concerns. I am impressed with their skills and business practices.

The ice machine was not working. The fixing cost was about $800 and after the machine was fixed about two months, it didn't work again. I called R&B again. They said it would cost more money to fix it. I wish they would have told me the first time before the first repair so I could put money toward a new machine.

Very Well.  Brian of R&B is the owner and is terrific.  Another company told me that my equipment was bad and needed to be completely replaced for a charge of 3,000 dollars.  Brian came out and checked everything.  Told me nothing was wrong--just that thermostats needed to be reset and pipe fixed.  Very honest and knowledgeable, particularly about Trane equipment.  I engaged this company with a service contract because i was so impressed with their service and honesty and knowledge.

After a cool summer, we turned on our central air and . . nothing. I contacted R&B who dispatched someone immediately. In less than an hour they were on the scene. Because our unit was ancient when we moved in almost nine years ago, I expected the verdict to be "Replace this clunker!" Instead, the repairman diagnosed the problem, popped back to the office for replacement parts, and had the unit working like a charm before we could break a sweat. When I asked how much we owed, he said they'd bill me. They were so laid back about billing me that I wound up calling to make sure the bill hadn't gotten lost in the mail! Total cost, about $240, worth every penny.

They did have to do some maintenance on it but it was just a quick repair and everything seemed to go just fine. They seem to be a real professional company if you ask me. I do not recall a charge but they charge by the hour.
