I just hope that they are ok in terms of their health and business because I can't think of any other reason why they would have been so unresponsive - maybe they have closed their business? We liked them very much from the start. Sara McCool is very knowledgeable, has an infectious passion for her work and works within budgets very well. The trees were planted in November 2012 and were chosen because they grow fast, keep their leaves year-round and provide flowers in the Spring. They were six feet tall. In the Spring of 2014, we noticed that all three trees had brown leaves and showed signs of failing. When we called Ungemack McCool, we were told that they had driven by and seen them and figured it was winter burn. They indicated that they should recover. I asked if they could come by and take a look at them and I emailed them pictures. They said they would but we never heard from them again. I tried calling them multiple times and never heard back. I figured they would know how to get ones like them if we needed to replace them. I sprayed winter burn protection on the trees that Fall hoping that maybe they would recover, but they were much worse the following Spring. Two of the three trees lost their leaves and are down to about 18" tall. My wife and I both tried to call Ungemack McCool at both #s we had for them and left messages for them probably 10 times between us over the course of a few months and never heard back. We now have had three Springs with no screening after having spent $1,000 and people who visit ask us why we have one tall tree and two dwarves next to it. It's a shame but we hope they are ok.
Description of Work: Plant three trees to provide screening for us.
