I hired Dan and his team to repair, repoint and mortar wash and stain our 118 year old brick house and they did a bang up job! People have been stopping by asking about what we did to make it look so great! Dan called me right away after my first contact, scheduled an appointment and showed up and on time! He has called me each day and showed up when he says he will. He has motivated, respectful, skilled workers who even work weekends. He and his crew are hard working and leave the jobsite cleaned up each night. Dan really cares about his work and respects my wishes—and I’m pretty picky! He is a very interesting person with a great personality and I trust him. I also now hired him for another big project including a flagstone patio on our second home. I wouldn’t have found Dan or our Architect without Home Advisor—and finding folks ready and willing to work, who actually show up, communicate with you, do a good job at a very fair price--is like finding a pot of gold these days! Even as stressful as home projects are, I very much enjoy working with Dan! (If I could add a photo of our project I would!)

I hired Daniel and the project start date was June on 2017. We had an overlay and color done on existing concrete, retaining wall with a patio, a concrete slab pour for a wood shed and additional concert work done on the deck post and the foundation around the house. It's now 9/8/17 and the repairs still remain unfinished. We're very disappointed with the quality of work done, but have learned a valuable lesson when it comes to trusting and hiring a concrete professional.

The price on the base bid was very reasonable. As work progressed, several ideas came up. Pricing was consistent with base bid so we had quite a bit more done. Much attention to detail. Job was done right even where it would never show. Easy going man, pleasure to do business with. Will use again without hesitation.

Awesome detail. Very kind and honest. We feel we got more than expected. We ended up hiring him for 2 additional jobs. He's a very hard worker.

Quality craftsmanship and very accommodating

Dan Halbrook is truly a man of many talents! His work for us is exactly what he promised or even better. If he says that he can do something for you, he really can. Dan is also a "hoot" to work with on a project. Would recommend him for any work around your house.

Dan cored a new vent hole in a brick face for a new gas stove. He also filled in the old existing hole. The repair on the old hole is really good. You would never see it if you didn't know where to look. Very pleased with his work and attention to detail.

I like the work they did. HOWEVER, a tool I borrowed from my dad went missing and when I asked Dan to check to see if they picked it up by mistake he never followed up with me after multiple attempts to reach him by email and phone. This has led me to assume the worst and I would not use them again or recommend them unfortunately.

We had them install a 750sqft stone patio, stairs, and dry creek bed and we absolutely love the patio. There was a miss-communication on the stairs portion, but the crew did everything possible to correct it and make it right. They would've received 5 stars if they had some photos to share with us at the proposal time, then the miss-communication would have never taken place. Overall very happy with the project, glad we did it.

If there were 10 stars Dan and his crew would have earned them! They put in over 400 square feet of brick patio, repaired window wells and steps for me. They did outstanding work, very professional, and went above and beyond to ensure this job was done to my very, very, very high standards. These guys are not just brick layers, they are master masons and experts in their field!

I recommended hoim to my neighbor and he did her patio as well and is going to do 2 future jobs as well....very pleased with his work and his crew...a;; pro's !
