Todd and the Apple Aire team were fantastic. Our boiler (hot water and radiant heat system) failed in the winter and they were so responsive, came with good suggestions, worked with us on project details, and did great work. I truly can't recommend them enough. Everyone we talked to in the back office as well as on site was very professional and they gave us very sound advice/recommendations. If you have a repair or a brand new install (which is what we ended up doing) Todd and the team are so trustworthy, honest, and talented.

It was very good. They came in and did the work quickly. No problems with the work so far. Bit expensive but i checked other companies but it seems they have the same price range . Helpful with my question.

Given that our 30-year-old old forced-air gas furnace was at the point to where we were getting a little concerned over its future reliability, we decided to have someone come out to have a look. Based on this family-run heating and air company’s great reviews, I gave Apple Aire the first shot at the job. And then, upon meeting and discussing the issue with Shane, we decided to look no further. Shane Terry, fourth-generation member of the well-recommended team, came out to our house for a thorough inspection. Noting the scaly residue outside of the heat exchanger, along with a couple of hairline fractures in the exchanger itself, he recommended replacement. Even though the quote was quite reasonable, I was somewhat reluctant at first but, all things considered—worry over failure at the least opportune moment, along with other factors—we gave Shane the go-ahead. I liked it that he did not try to sell us up to a more expensive high-efficiency model (which I already had in mind). To the contrary, Shane explained that the extra expense and materials involved (would require a nearby floor drain, for example) would offset any future heating-bill savings, in our case. So we went with the new 2-stage Amana (manufactured by Goodman). [The heat exchanger on this unit comes with an amazing guarantee, by the way.] This was a big job. The old furnace did not have properly vented combustion air, for one thing—something of which I was already keenly aware. The only source of combustion air was from natural “infiltration,” such as leaks from the bottom of an old garage door. In addition, in order to continue to use our brick chimney for exhaust air, an inside liner was required. Hence, Shane brought three other crew members with him (in order to get the complete job completed inside of one day). Darrell, Dave and Chris arrived on time and hit the ground running (Shane, who was following up on another job, arrived a little later)! While Dave was working on the new venting and other ductwork, Darrel and Chris proceeded to dismantle and remove the old furnace. Before long, they had the new unit in place, and matched up to the existing heating and return air ducts in the basement. They also installed a new filter box, which makes essential filter changes a breeze! Before, I had to get down on my hands and knees on the hard concrete floor, unplug a few wires (cutting my fingers in the process) just to get to the filter. Between that, and stuffing a new one in place, without bending or damaging it, this did not exactly encourage me to change filters as often as I should! While Darrell installed a new digital thermostat upstairs, Shane was finishing up some furnace wiring downstairs. Then we went through a final walk-through. These guys were thoroughly competent, pleasant, and overall great to work with (not that I did any work, myself!). The finished job was extremely tidy, and they kept things clean as they went. And, considering all of the work that had to be done, I was pleasantly surprised that they could get it all completed for the reasonable price as quoted. And, lastly, a word about the new Amana itself... In a sentence, we couldn’t be happier with our new furnace! It runs a lot quieter than the old one (single stage). And, being a 2-stage, there’s no unpleasant blast of hot air rushing through the ductwork on startup...which is one of the things I used to hate about forced air systems. With this dual-stage furnace, the first stage burns the natural gas at a reduced rate as it brings the air up to temperature (almost without notice). You would only see the second stage kick in on the colder days, where the full-capacity gas supply is required. [As you may have already imagined, a 2-stage system will reduce your heating bill.] Once again, we are more than happy with the job done by Apple Aire. We would enthusiastically recommend them to anyone!

It was great, professional, fast and they matched the price of the previous guy who left me in a lurch. Would definitely recommend.

Everything went great. They are like the best. They have been out 2 or 3 times. I thought it was pretty reasonable. They are pretty much the only person I'd ever call again.

Apple was very professional and responsive from start.  I did have to call them to come back for leveling twice and Matt came out, he did a very good job and spent a lot of time here ensuring everything was correct, they stood behind quality of their work and were responsive.

I had 4 or 5 different companies come out and give me a bid.  This one was not the highest or lowest price, but seemed to know their stuff.  So I scheduled to have them install me a cooler.
I was a little concerned the day before the install, when I had not heard yet what time they would be here. So I called, and they gave me a time, but they were 1-2 hours late (though they called me as they got closer to arriving)..  That's why I gave them a B rating on punctuality, but since it is an all day job, it was not that big a deal.
Everything else went great.  The crew was friendly and professional.  My preference was to have the control installed in a specific place, which they agreed was a good place, but it turned out the configuration of my house made this difficult or impossible.  We started brainstorming second choices, but they kept pulling each other aside, trying to find a solution for my preference, even once I had pretty much accepted a lesser plan.  They really hit this issue hard, and eventually found a way to do it the way I originally wanted it. with no badgering at all on my part.
Once the install was complete, they warned me there would be a funny smell for a while, and then showed me how everything worked.  All was great, but there was that smell. They were very diligent to understand how much I thought it would bother me.  I wasn't crazy about it, but I thought I could live with it.  But they were happy instead to run to the store and get some scented stuff to add to the water to make me more comfortable while the smell worked its way out.
There was a slight misunderstanding with me paying with a credit card - they seemed to have assumed a check - but that was worked out, also to my complete satisfaction.  The county inspectors came out a few days latter, and said all was well.  And two days later, this company sent me all the paperwork I needed to apply for the utility company rebate, filled out except for a couple places for me to fill in.
It is now 6 days after the install, and I am very happen with how everything has gone.  And I love my new swamp cooler.

In short, the mini-split air conditioning system has never worked at all.  At first, the wall units leaked condensation onto our new wood floors, ruining the area below the units.   But the units, when turned on failed to cool the rooms they serviced.  We called Todd at Apple Aire and he denied that there were any problems despite the obvious water dripping onto the floor.  We then turned to Builders Heating and Cooling to service the units since Todd at Apple Aire refused to help.  The technician at Builders described a horrible series of fatal errors in installation (and each error was contrary to the installation instructions).  The technician declared the system to be a total loss.  This is where we are today and still Todd and Apple Aire refuse to do anything.  So, the AC was a total loss and Apple Aire was hostile.

The boiler was also installed improperly (e.g., drain lines running upward is just the beginning) and Todd has failed to perform maintenance or stand up to remedy the poor quality installation.  We are working to fix this problem with the expected cost to be $3,000.

And finally, while Apple was actively working at our house, their product supplier put a lien on our home because Todd had failed to pay for the product he ordered.  Todd denied it at first, then admitted to not paying the supplier.

Of the dozen subcontractors we hired, Apple Aire was by far the most incompetent and least professional of them all.  I've read some positive reviews on Apple Aire but to me the real test of a company is when problems occur, which they will, and how the company responds.  Apple Aire does not stand behind their work and for us, we get to live with and pay for the Apple Aire catastrophe.

If you want to know more, ask Todd to give you my name and number.

Overall - my husband and I couldn't have asked for better service.  We called Apple Aire in a panic on a Sunday after Xcel came out and determined that our furnace (which was only a year old) was dangerous and needed to be shut down ("red tagged").  Apple Aire came out that same day, inspected the furnace to see if it could be saved, and provided us with a list of problems and code violations associated with its installation and function.  We ended up having to purchase a new furnace, and Todd was very patient with us, explaining each option that would best serve our needs.  We never felt pressured at any point, and never felt like he was trying to "up sell" us, despite our precarious situation.  They came the next day to install the furnace which has worked like a charm since day one.  They were prompt, respectful, and professional.  We were so happy with the experience that we hired them to come out again that following spring to install our new air conditioner.
