Tom is a great guy to work with on every level. His quality is excellent... He took a dated light oak desk and gave it a whole new look. We almost bought a similar desk at Arhaus and decided to just refinish and update what we had and I'm so glad we did. Beautiful!! In fact he is going to refinish some bar stools for us next week. I highly recommend him!

I first contacted Ablyss to have the work done and they were scheduling three weeks out before they could even begin work on our furniture. They also had a "we'll call you when we can get to it" attitude when I tried calling a couple times to arrange the work. We were needing the headboard back within a short timeframe due to some guests coming into town so I gave Tom Loner a call with American Heritage. Tom is very friendly and after playing a brief game of phone tag we were able to set up a time for him to come check out the furniture. He came promptly and didn't charge a fee to give us an estimate which I have experienced with other companies. His estimate was $150 for both pieces which was about half the price I would have paid his competitors. He explained that he had a few other projects lined up but would try to have the furniture back to us within the next couple days. He was able to pick up the furniture on the spot and take it back to his work shop, again without a fee. About three days later Tom called to say the pieces were finished and that he could deliver them after an appointment with another client. He got everything back to us really quickly and we are happy with the quality of his work. He also guarantees his repairs to last. Overall, we are very happy with the services that American Heritage provided and will be calling Tom in the future for any other repairs we may need.

Tom Loner came out to see us April 24, 2013. He was very punctual, energetic and very knowledgeable about furniture refinishing. We showed him our 1959 Baldwin Acrosonic piano that was originally my mother's. He offered great suggestions and a very reasonable price for his work. He really made this process easy, giving us the name of an outstanding keyboard mover! They came and picked it up a few days later and transported the piano to Tom's studio. He took great care of our "special" piano and restored it to the original color! All I can say is "WOW!!!!! What a pro! The piano was returned to us and "Proudly" resides in a place of honor in our home. Thank you, Tom Loner!

I was having the wood ballusters replaced with metal on my staircase and wanted the banisters to be stained a darker color. Tom did a great job of changing the color to just what I was looking for. He was great to work with, they look awesome, were done in a timely manner (one day) and with very little mess (just a small amount of dust close to the work area). Will now use him to refinish some kitchen cabinet doors that have been scratched.

It went very well overall. I phone Tom, he comes to my home looks at the piece and gives me a price on the spot. If I agree he will pick it up and put it in his van and take it to his shop. I have no don'ts. Tom is a very good communicator. I just needed to be home when he was ready to return the piece.

He did a wonderful job restoring and repairing the damaged table and it looks amazing! His prices are VERY fair and his turn-around time was 3-4 times faster than what I expected.
