Very prompt responding to my request. Provider was very friendly and professional. I recommend him.

It went fine. The provider showed up on time, did the work, and did an estimate for some other repairs. The garage doors do not work noticeably better than before the maintenance, but I think they did a competent job. The thing that really ticked me off was that I had a sticker with contact information for my previous garage door service company on the wall, which this company removed and replaced with their own without my permission. Now, I have lost the information for the other company, which did a better job. Hence the D rating for professionalism.

We had a problem with our garage door opener and needed assistance. I contacted the original installer and was told that Tuesday was the earliest that they could schedule a visit (I contacted them on Thursday). I then contacted Academy Overhead Door of Monument to see what they could do. They worked us into their schedule the same day. The opener problem was corrected within 15 minutes of the their arrival. I would highly recommend anyone having garage door or garage door opener problems to contact Academy Overhead Door of Monument! I know that I will.

I called them because I needed a new garage door. They came to my house and gave me an estimate. The nice man also showed me pictures of different garage doors. We where able to pick just the one we wanted and it only took a week for them to get it. Because my husband is veteran of the Army he gave me a substantial discount. I certainly appreciated it. It took them less than one day to instal the new door. The finished product was above my expectations. the door looks great and functions beautifully. I would recommend this company to all my friends and colleagues. They are the best in the business as far as I am concerned.

We got an Angie's List special deal from Academy Overhead Door for $111 which included garage door reconditioning and replacement of all the rollers. James was prompt and did a professional job. The door would not open the following day so James came the next morning and said that unfortunately the spring broke, that we needed a new one, and suggested that we replace both. He said that the normal cost to do this is $379 and that he would give us a special at $250. Since both springs were fairly new (replaced August, 2011), I suspected that the spring breakage could have been caused by both sides of the door not being adjusted evenly the day before. James denied any responsibility in this issue. I then told him I found another deal they were running on Angie's List by his company for $189 to replace BOTH springs (quoted twice in the fine print). He said Angie's List had made an error and that it was for only ONE spring, however he would honor that price. I was then told twice... "What a great deal I was getting". When I later called his competitor who had replaced the springs prior, their everyday prices were lower than the $189. I contacted Academy Overhead Door a second time regarding some compensation on this issue and once again they took no responsibility in the breakage. All I got was a letter stating that "builders put in the cheapest doors/openers no matter how expensive the house is (this had nothing to do with the door or opener), they complained about the high cost of running a business, made negative comments about their competition, etc and did not address MY issue. I was finally offered another deal for a free adjustment a year from now which I decline. All was great with Academy Overhead Door until I needed them for follow up on what was an issue most likely caused by them. I also felt sorry for his young son who seems to have to accompany him on calls...he looked pretty bored.

On time, VERY professional, accomplished work in a timely manner. They had to move some things to access the rails and put everything back like it was. Definitely will recommend them to my friends!

They were quick, good and the guy was very knowledgeable. I will be having them come back out and replace the unit.

It went fine, he brought his sun along to assist by giving him tools and parts while his dad did the work.It took about a 45 min.. He also checked all the hardware to the garage door for tight ness..

He was promptly on time and brought his son to help him. The service was great and thorough. The garage door is quiet and smooth operating again. And it was great that Angie's List had a great deal of a pre-purchased coupon for the $250 service for only $99.00! But even at full price, we would use this company again!

The provider was prompt during the appointment window and came to repair a garage door that was sticking and not opening without issues. They replaced all of the rollers and a hinge and oiled everything. It now works without an issue and opens and closes smoothly! James was exceedingly professional and will definitely be using them again if we require work on the garage door!

I was through happy with the service provided. He was punctual and professional and answered all my questions that I asked about what was being done. I was happy that if needed I can get a 2nd remote opener from him. I would use this company again in a heartbeat.

James had just let a worker go for not maintaining his company's standards and so took on quite an extra workload himself. That's why he had to delay our appointment so as to get earlier jobs done right rather than done fast. The job went quickly and very well. Our door works better than when it was new.

My garage door had not been serviced in years. I called Academy and they were able to get a tech out the same evening (about 4 hours after I called them). He performed the maintenance and the door has been working wonderfully since. Also, here informed me to call if the door stopped working in the next month.

Great service! I was pleased with the work! The only downfall was my initial 'window of time' for service was changed at the last minute, the afternoon prior. Overall very satisfied!

They were terrific and we are very happy with the service. When they found another problem in the motor, they were able to resolve it with only replacing the gears. They were honest, truthful, and weren’t trying to up-sale me on the service. I appreciated their integrity. They got there when they said they would, did all the work in a timely manner, and the cost was excellent.

The work was good! They provided a warranty on it as well. They came out quickly. They even left a convenient sticker to advise when the next service date should be instead of us having to file it away with paperwork. We are very pleased with the work.

The work turned out good. If the price was right, I would hire them again.

The technician was efficient, courteous and professional. During the inspection, he found one of my cables was frayed and near failure. He replaced them and only charged me for the parts. It was a very pleasant experience and went a lot faster than I thought it would. I would definitely use these guys again and recommend them highly.

I called on a Monday morning, got an estimate over the phone, and an appointment for about 3 hours later. They gave me a 2-hour window for arrival, and the technician showed up and got it fixed with no problem. I also used a $35 coupon for "Angie's List members" to bring the cost down by $35. The technician was pleasant and professional. I would use this company again.
