He was very punctual and polite. He answered all my questions about other issues with the door and let me know how much fixing those other things would be. He was very informative about other services Academy Overhead could do for me, but was not pushy when I declined those services at this time. I would certainly call them again for future service. Their online scheduling system was also well organized and someone got to me promptly to schedule my appointment and was very communicative about the process.

.Young man who is a professional at what he did tuning up our garage door. He did what we had done 5 years ago for a whole lot of money. We have a garage door from 1965 and he will look for parts to replace rollers. We trust him to help with this old door.

It went well. They were only here for about 30 minutes, but it seemed that they lubricated everything necessary. The doors definitely sound quieter, and seem to work a lot smoother!

The men got here on time did the work very fast and efficient. We were very pleased with the work they did the garage doors have never sounded so quiet. They are still working good. Very pleased with what was done. I felt it was a very good deal.

Technician arrived on time, was very professional, answered all my questions (I ask lots of questions - knowledge is power!). He performed all tasks in an efficient manner, gathered all his tools and materials, and left a card. His company called a few days later and asked a few brief questions about the service. I was completely satisfied with the service.

My garage door spring was broken so it quit working. They came out on short notice, fixed it up and honored the Angie's List coupon so it was a good deal. They pointed out a couple of things that also needed work but they weren't trying to hard sale or anything, they were just being thorough. I opted for some additional stuff but they honored it for what they said they would do. I have no complaints.

We purchased a garage door tune-up special for $99. Our garage door was in a really bad condition with multiple broken rollers and it was making a terrible noise while operating. The Academy Overhead Door showed up on time. They replaced all the rollers to top quality nylon ones and they made all necessary adjustments. They even replaced one of the hinges. After all that was done, I could not believe how quietly and smoothly our garage door operated.

Our garage doors never sounded so good! The only surprise was..the special $49.00 was per door and we have 3 car garage with 2 garage door openers! So it cost more and also they replaced some large bolts parts...but our doors work great now!!

Travis, the technician who performed the work, was friendly and professional. Also, the office called because he was running a bit early and they wanted to see if it was ok for him to get here a bit ahead of schedule.

He was on time and explained what he was going to inspect and what might need to be done. Our track was off a little and he straightened it. He lubricated everything and gave insight for our opener which we didn't know about. I would highly recommend Academy Overhead Door

Very friendly and professional.

I booked a block of time and thought they would come at the beginning of the block of time, but apparently I misunderstood because their dispatcher called me about 45 minutes into the block of time to say they were on their way. Once they were there, they were quick and efficient so overall the block of time was not exceeded. Important that day because I had other appointments and had counted on them being done by a certain time, which they were. Very professional, introduced themselves (James and Dylan? ....sorry but can't recall the second person's name). Worked steadily and got the job done. Showed me what they had done when they were finished. Asked if I had any questions. Very responsible about the paperwork and making sure I was satisfied with the work they had done. Would definitely plan on having them back again when another inspection and 'conditioning' of the overhead garage doors is necessary in the future.

No problems, the guy was a professional, was quick & did a thorough job of inspecting the door system. Minimum impact on me, required only access to an outlet. The recommendation to replace the rollers was pressure free and he explained in detail why he made the recommendation. I would definitely use their services again.

On time, polite and helped us know how to maintain the garage door opener. Eliminated the vibration and excessive noise the opener made before being serviced.

I started with a $99 Big Deal for new rollers, check and adjustment, and lubrication. When James arrived with who appeared to be an apprentice, he noted that the cable on one side was frayed and he recommended replacing the set. Once he pointed it out, it was obvious that the cable was frayed. Naturally I wanted to have it replaced, and of course it only makes sense to replace in pairs. I thought he was going to say a large number, but in fact the cable set was just $65, including installation. James worked quickly and efficiently, and gave me a can of lubrication to use for regular maintenance. I had no idea how they could replace all the rollers for just $99, but with his experience James spent 30 seconds or less on each one. Watching him work, I joked to the apprentice, "He's done this before." They were quite on time, and the work went quickly. Very cordial, very professional. We'll replace our original 1981 door and closing mechanism next year, and I will definitely call Academy Overhead Door to do it. - Larry Valmore
