I originally purchased a $99.00 special to have a tune up and roller replacement or keypad. When Ryan got here I informed him that my door wasn't opening and he told me I had a broken spring. I had him replace the two springs as he recommended they both be done at the same time. The total charge for the springs being done was $300.00! That is very high. Then I looked back at their angie's list site and found they were also running a special for spring replacement at $212.00. I feel if they were a company that really cared about their clients, he would have offered me that price. Ryan was very nice and professional, but I will not use this company again nor will I recommend it to my friends.

We can't even put a keypad from Lowe's on our garage door because it would not be compatible with their system.

The garage opener is getting very old but they did not pressure me into replacing it yet. They did leave information on a new opener for when I do decide to replace it.

The experience turned out moderate. This particular deal was $99 for a new keypad for an overhead door and when the technician came out here, he knew nothing about the new keypad. He did repair the one that I've got, but part of the reason I bought it, was to get a new keypad. So I just let him repair the keypad, but he knew nothing about the deal and the new keypad. So I let it go. I didn't pay any more, but I don't think I got what I was supposed to get. He didn't really know how to repair the keypad. The keypad was repaired, but it was done with help from the office. He had to call back in. That technician really didn't know what he was doing. He was a young guy. Maybe he was new.

Technician was behind in schedule and called to keep us updated. He stayed until the job was finished. Did replace the rubber bumper on the bottom of the door - did a great job!

I am extremely pleased with this company. I set up an appointment with their dispatcher over a week ago for a garage door tune-up at our newly purchased older home and was given a service date along with an arrival window. That morning, the dispatcher phoned me to tell me that the technician was on the way. This was the first great example of their customer service; by doing this I didn't have to waste my time hanging around wonder when they were going to show and that there wasn't going to be a stranger at my door. Ryan showed up ready to go even though the weather was brutally cold with light snow showers. He went over exactly what he was going to do and listened to my concerns about the door before he started. He was extremely polite and professional, did a wonderful job, and left my garage neat and tidy. I am very pleased with how the door is operating now and have confidence that we will get through another cold and snowy Colorado winter without any problems getting in and out of our garage!

Everything was done promptly and professionally. Their tech was very helpful and answering my questions and assured me if I had additional questions they could help me over the phone. I will use them again on my rentals in the future.

Replaced rollers and put touch pad on door.

Great. Really needed good communication and a call as one of the service locations is a rental. All perfect - great communication, service deal with new rollers and a new touch opener and repair of spring all made on Friday afternoon with little problems.

I purchased a Big Deal for a Garage Door Tune-Up. The guys recommended that I replace the rollers on the garage door, and the price was still under the regular price for a Tune-Up. They were great guys, it was a great deal, and I'm very happy with the work.

They were overwhelmed by the response to the special. But, once I called them to set up the appointment all went well. On time, job well done. No more squeaky garage door.

Great. Prompt - and I mean- EXACTLY ON TIME - I was floored. Professional, courteous, and advised me of something that potentially could have been disastrous - to a car, one of our dogs, or one of us - had we not fixed it. (broken spring) The extra, unfortunately, cost more than the "Great Deal," it was regular price. But I am very happy they came out.

The best. The tech knew exactly what he was doing and he did it well and quickly. He felt bad that he was slightly late and tuned both garage doors for the same price that they normally charge for one. It wasn't expected, but it was a generous gesture. I won't hesitate to hire them again!!

Jerry, the owner, came on the appointment to provide the services to do a basic inspection and provide new rollers. He had some good suggestions on continued maintenence and did not try to sell me anything that I did not need at this time. The garage door opener is getting a little worn after 22 years and still works. jerry lubricated some parts but advised that it would go out in the near future but he told me not to replace it until it failed or started to act up. Jerry and the service were good eneough for me to do the same thing on my 2nd garage door. I will definitly use Academy when I need any garage door service or product.

After making contact with Academy Overhead Door and arranging an appointment, the serviceman came on the date we agreed. He was actually early as for the time. He introduced himself and explained what he was going to do and went about his work. He adjusted and lubricated the door and belt drive and changed the rollers out. He also lubricated the springs while he was here. He checked the emergency stop and also checked the weather stripping around the door. It went well and was worth the money for the service provided.

It was okay. He didn't spent much time. He didn't seem to do a whole lot, he just did tune up and that was fine. I really don't like that whenever they put those things on, they try to do up sales.

Jason the technician was very professional and tuned up my garage door. Very pleased with the work he did . Garage Door goes down smoothly now. Very Quiet.

It was all right but for the money, I think the price was too much money for what they did. They were nice and friendly. They talked me in to buy new wheels for the garage door. He said I need new rollers. They weren’t rude and inconsiderate as far as they treated me. They came and explained to me what they did. I was a little put out by the price that I paid them. It’s not that they did me wrong but it was a way for them to generate more revenue.
