My garage door spring broke during the night, and I could not get my door open in the morning. My cars were stuck in the garage until I could get it repaired. Academy Overhead got a repairman there that afternoon. The door runs smooth and quiet now, sounds better than it ever has. Price seemed reasonable, I have nothing to compare it to. The repairman gladly took the $35 anglielist coupon. I will use this company again.

The technition was very proffesional. For the first time, our garage door stays down when the weather is cold. We don't have to wait to make sure it doesn't go back up on its own. I am very pleased.

It turned out well. They were prompt, easy to contact, and did the work as promised. In addition, the technicians were professional and courteous.

I called and set up an appointment. The service tech showed up and said he was not qualified to work on that door. He was going to try and set up another appointment with another tech but it would take a few days. I told him to cancel the order and that I would take care of it myself.

Representative showed up on time and was very courteous. He took the time to answer all my questions and concerns and explained exactly what he did before leaving. The service call was very quick, but I certainly feel that I got my moneys worth both in terms of customer service and actual work performed. A great value! I wouldn't hesitate to call them for larger service or repairs in the future.

Everything turned out well. They responded quickly, did a good job in a timely manner, and acted professionally when dealing with me. In fact, I had no problems with the service at all, and I found the price to be a great value.

Tuned-Up the Garage door. The door was old but in working order, just needed a chain adjustment per our home warranty suggestion. After the tune up, they recommended a replacement because it was old. After the service, the garage door did not work so well. We called them out again to fix and they did for an extra fee because my renter told me outside the thirty day window that it had not worked well since they worked on the tune up.

It was OK. It just seemed to me like the guy was in a hurry and I presume he has done everything he said he was going to do. I didn't watch him. Maybe I am being a little overactive here, but I just wasn't totally impressed. I think he has done the whole thing in 15 or 20 minutes and I thought to myself now how can a person do that much work in that length of time. That is the thing that didn't really impress me. He was on time.

I was happy with it. The guy seemed to know what he was doing and checked everything out. I have no complaints. It was a good price.

That turned out fine. They did what they were suppose to do. They were late arriving, but he was polite when he got here. He looked around and they did not have to do anything for the garage door tune up. He stayed for about 10 minutes.

Checked and tuned opener, replaced rollers, installed keyless entry pad.

After they left we had another problem and they were quick to come out and fix it. Nice to know they back up there work. It has worked great ever since.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was great. The only problem was I got charged twice and have requested a reimbursement form from Angie's List. I have yet to receive my refund. My husband says the technician was wonderful and he was impressed.

I got the garage door "tune-up." They did it while I was gone and my 19-year-old son was at home.

They sent me a message through Angie's List and told me to contact them when I was ready to schedule the deal. Their service turned out well and they did a good job. Two gentleman came out on time and did exactly what they were supposed to do. I was pleased with the work.

The worked was performed on Dec 11th and the door does functions much better than it did before. It had been jerky and uneven going up and down but is much smoother now. I gave them a C for Responsiveness because it has taken more than one phone call or email each time we contact them to get a response. I do believe the coupon they offered brought in a lot of business and that perhaps they were a little overwhelmed with the amount of calls they were receiving. I have emailed them requesting a copy of the work order for the job but as of today have not received any reply from them. We were not home at the time of the service and no receipt was left behind by the technician. We would just like to have the invoice for our records but other than that they did a good job with the door and we would use them again.

The service was good but my only complaints is ... The service person tried to sell me a lot of products / upgrades .

It went very quickly. They were finished in no time. The door operates more quietly now, and it's 13 or 14 years old.
