One Clear Choice

Everything went great. One of the two springs had broken, disabling the garage door. I had used 1 Clear Choice back in 2007 to install two garage door openers and tune up the doors. That was before I was familiar with Angie's List. Had I been, I would have written a great review back then. So, that said, it was a no-brainer to call them again to help with this issue. The Technician John arrived right on time and did the work in a quick and effecient manner. The door once again works great and we are very happy. Contract # 34078-101

Ty was the person that repaired my garage door. He was punctual, polite and explained everything to me in a way that I could understand. He showed me how I can save money as well as maintain my garage door for years to come. I will definitely recommend One Clear Choice to my friends and families.

They came early and did the job under what they bid me on the phone. They actually upgraded some of the parts because they didn't have the other ones I needed.

I called One Clear Choice this morning and an appointment was made for this evening. Ty came out within the time agreed upon, and quickly and efficiently made the repairs. He reset the sensitivity on the controls for raising and lowering the door and made sure everything was functioning correctly. I have used them before, and I will continue to use them for repair/replacement of my garage door and opener.

As soon as the repairman had Ieft, I noticed that the door when first opening was making a sticking/grinding sound as if the door was initially stuck. As soon as the door reached about two feet up it was fine. It got progressively worse so, that a couple of weeks after the repair I called 1 Clear choice and asked them if they could come out and check out was what going on because the door had never made the sticking /grinding sound until after they had "repaired" the door. I just wanted Clear Chioce to see if maybe just the tension needed to be adjusted. A repairman came out and without looking at anything or doing anything said, it would be $118 to look at it. Additionally he wanted to sell me numerous new parts. I told him I didn't want to pay anymore than the $224 I had already paid him and just wanted him to adjust the door if possible. He called his office and I spoke with Chris the owner. He became quite belligerant on the phone with me, called me an extremeist, and insuiated that I just wanted the door repaired for free. He claimed the problem was not their doing. He really wouldn't even listen to me. I want to add that this so-called owner was the most disrespectful business or business owner I have ever dealt with. I have never been treated so poorly by a company in my life. The bottom line is, they would not stand behind their work, the owner speaks abusively to his customers and I would NOT recommend this company to anyone.

I came home on the evening of the 29th to find my garage door wouldn't open. After checking my garage door opener, I found I had a broken spring. I found 1 Clear Choice on Angie's List and sent them a quick email. Chris Chapman contacted me that evening and gave me the phone number to call the next morning. I contacted the office and they scheduled Ty to come out between 4 pm and 6 pm on the 30th. Ty was early and quickly replaced both springs. He pointed out the fact my rollers were bad and I had him replace those as well. The cost was a little higher than I had anticipated, but I did get a lifetime warantee on the springs and the rollers, so I'm not complaining. Ty was very efficient, quick and friendly. He made sure he cleaned up and thoroughly explained the bill and what I needed to do to properly maintain my garage door. I would highly reccommend 1 Clear Choice to anyone who has garage door problems, and I would not hesitate to use them again for any garage door repair.

They were just fine. They were prompt, timely, and efficient. The price was reasonable. The technician was professional and knowledgeable. I would recommend their services.

Overall, the work got done but it was uncomfortable for me when I had told them from the beginning that I wanted to only fix the spring that was broken.

John came on time. He explained what needed to be done and how much it cost. He gave me several options. He worked without stopping. Now my door works like silk. It was a good experience.

I'd been having problems with the garage door opener for some time. Part of the time it would refuse to close, starting down and then going back up. Also, the door would open occasionally when I hadn't pushed the remote. I called 1 Clear Choice, and they responded quickly. I explained the problems to Dave, who saw there was a roller out of the track. (I hadn't noticed it.) I told him about the unwanted opening problem. He suggested the tune-up to see if that would fix the situation. He replaced 10 rollers and lubricated the track. He also changed the code on the opener, thinking possibly that would fix the opening issue. This fixed the problem of the door not coming down, but it still went up the next day without the remote being activated. I called 1 Clear Choice again, and Ty came out and replaced the opener. It's working just fine now. I appreciated the fact that they tried to fix it without replacing the opener. I believe the tune-up was needed, and since they didn't charge a trip charge, it cost no more for them to come out twice.

It went fine but I thought that is was expensive for the service. I would use them again but not before I got other bids.

He was here on time and did a good job. He gave me a discount and the work was very satisfactory.

I liked their service. I was not present when they came to work but they did the job well.

I was able to get an appt. the next day for installation. I received a MoneyMailer coupon and used it to get a Liftmaster 3280 Belt Drive installed for $249 + tax (another company wanted $325 but that one had an extra remote and keypad that I didn't need). They were out of the advertised opener and instead upgraded it for free to a 3/4 hp Liftmaster 3585 belt drive opener. The installer Chip was prompt, did a fine job of installation, and was professional and courteous. He went over the new features of the garage door opener, told me things to look out for in the future, and cut apart the beam of the old garage door opener so I could fit it in my garbage can. Excellent service!

They arrived exactly on time, told me what they would be installing, went over some of our existing safety issues regarding springs which I didn't end up upgrading at the time, but they were very efficient and thourough with the install and operating instructions.

They were excellent. They came out on time. I was pleased with the job. They offer 24/7 service and we needed the work done quickly. They satisfied our need.
