Kenny's Concrete

Saturday the guy came out. Said he'd email me a quote "this weekend". It's Wednesday and I am still waiting........I won't use them, if they can't even get me a quote in 4 days who knows what kind of communication issues we'd have down the line. Also thought it was strange that the other contractors I have had out could give me a quote on the spot but not the Kenny's Concrete guy.

The price was competitive. They did a great job. You could definitely tell they knew what they were doing and they were quick. I thought it would take two days and it only took one. This company stands behind their work.

I worked with Kenny and his staff to determine how the sidewalk and drain would be done, and enjoyed working with Kenny and using his knowledge that helped us come to a successful design. The sidewalk looks great, and we think it will have a much longer life than the one that was replaced.

The work was done quickly and the quality is excellent.

It went very well. He did a great job. He showed up when he said he was going to and they worked hard. They also did it when I wasn’t home so they were very trustworthy, very courteous and took care of my property.

Kennys Concrete was a life saver for us. We are building a new garage and weather is a factor this time of year. We had another contractor lined up to pour the garage floor, however, he told us at the last minute he was booked up until 10/27. Not only is that when the weather is turning, but we have lumber, trusses and a framing contractor scheduled for 10/29 and needed the concrete cured by then. We called Kennys Concrete who not only gave us a very fair price, but understood our situation and worked us into his schedule to get the work done immediately. Not only was Kenny very professional but so were his men working around our home. We will be using Kennys Concrete to pour our new driveway, as well as any other concrete work we find we need in the future. I highly recommend this company to any individual or company that needs any type of concrete work done.

It went perfectly. They did what they said they would do, and they did it very well.

They were not interested in a small project.

He seemed like he knew what he was doing. They took a look and gave me some suggestions but they were just more expensive. He was over here pretty quickly and was on time.

I didn't use them because I decided not go with concrete. They were very good.

Curtis arrived to bid the job on time and I asked if it was possible to start work in just a few days. He accommodated my request and I had a new garage floor by the end of the week. Great customer service, couldn't ask for more.

We really appreciated the personable service. He went beyond our expectations as far as doing a good job, and he was concerned about what we wanted and needed. The price wasn’t unreasonable but he wasn’t the cheapest. It looks good now and he followed-up looking for cracks and things like that.

Without warning the estimator came at a time different than scheduled - after I set aside time in my schedule. He left a written estimate. Never heard from him. No follow up phone call - no apparent interest in the job.

The estimator was punctual and met early in the morning to work with my schedule. The company seemed very professional and I have a feeling would do quality work however I went with another company that spaced the same material at half the cost and construction time.

Our only contact with Kenny's was when he came over to give us a bid.

I needed my driveway replaced due to standing water next to my house. Kenny proposed to dig 4 foot wide/4 foot deep hole next to my house for the water to drain into . When I asked him how a 4 foot hole next to my house was any better than the standing water problem I already had he then decided it would be best to put the hole on the other side of the driveway, but never gave me an explanation. When I told him about other advice I had been given, he called the person who gave me that advice a f***er. He came back later to give me the addresses of satisfied customers and apologized to me, saying that he forgot that when he talks to women he has to remember that women don't want to hear facts. I was thoroughly insulted by this guy.

They never responded until I had someone else lined up. I was going to use them but didn't.

The contractor was a couple hours late for the estimate and didn't call to let us know he'd be late. Curtis, the guy who gave us the estimate was very friendly and professional, once he arrived. Once we accepted, we received a call on the 14th of July asking if they could come prep the area for the concrete that afternoon. They arrived on time and did a great job. The concrete sidewalk was to be placed in an area that sloped away from the house. They leveled the ground, placed a new drain from the guttering under the proposed concrete and cut off the bottom of the gate to facilitate the concrete. The next day they poured the concrete in the morning as scheduled. We were very happy with the finished product and we enjoy the convenience of our new sidewalk and pad.

Overall good experience from estimate to finished product.

Got an estimate from them to replace my driveway and garage concrete, and install a heated driveway. I agreed to their price and signed a contract. Apparently, a contract does not apply to them, as they said they could not do it for that price, and did not fulfill their obligations to perform the work. I did not pursue a remedy with them, and just let it go as I would not want someone to do the work who treats a contract in this this way.

He was prompt and courteous but we postponed the project.

The person I spoke to did not identify himself but he sounded friendly and enthusiastic. He agreed to stop by the same afternoon to give me a quote. Unfortunately, he never showed and didn't call either. I think these people are way too busy or else they have someone sabotaging the workload!

They were about $1000 more expensive than the company we hired, so we chose another company. Other than that, I had no problem with them, as they were very professional.

It went very well. Kenny was extremely knowledgeable about the concrete business and made imaginative suggestions to deal with the lack of slope at our property. His crew was first rate. They were hardworking and very skilled. It was a pleasure to watch them work as they knew their trade so well. The one criticism I have is in customer relations. Kenny is a gruff old bird, prone to using lots of foul language. I nearly cancelled when Curtis was rude to my wife on the phone. I'm glad I didn't cancel though, as they did great work.
