Description of Work: He came out 3 times and said his equipment wouldn't work then after 2 weeks i asked for a refund, he said he refunded it already. I haven't seen the $75.00 thanks!

Description of Work: I purchased the deal c. 8/29/13 and was needing to get some rooms painted by the end of the next week (9/7/13). The provider was booked until at least 9/18/13 but was very courteous and helpful.

Description of Work: I had an e-mail from Mr, Lyons saying he would start the job on July 22nd. On that day I prepared the room by taking down fixtures, curtains,towel holders and taping off around mirror. By 10:00a.m. he did not show up, so I called him and got an recording saying he would be back on July 29th. he never called to tell me his would not be here on the 22nd.

Description of Work: The company and I were a complete mismatch. I found the owner to be arrogant and rude. I told him that I was very particular with my painting and that I had painted our house. While looking at our home he stated, "Oh, this is a horrible cut in job...oh wait you did that." He then continued to tell me about other painters that he had heard of that slept on the job and bad mouth difficult clients. His bid was well over $1,000 higher than other quotes I received. I sent him an email explaining that his quote was significantly higher and gave him the option to perform the 7 hours of work or refund my money. He replied to my email that I could get a refund. Overall, it would have been easier for him to tell me that he was not interested in our project. I was definitely not impressed with the company and would not recommend him. I ended up selecting someone that was not on Angie's List.

Description of Work: We just received a quote at this point, but his service and professionalism for that process was exceptional. I called to request a quote for work to be done to my grandmother's house. I received a call back within a hour on a Saturday, and he came out on a Sunday. He wasn't pushy and he re-worked the quote a couple of times based on my feedback. Since we still have some work to get done before we can even get the room painted, we haven't booked yet, but the price was fair ($800 for a large room and a bathroom), especially given that parts of the house have not been painted in 50 years. We intend to use him based on his professionalism, courtesy, and willingness to accomodate.

Description of Work: I purchased a service deal through Angie's List from this company to paint one inside room. After an initial scheduling snafu, the crew of two painters arrived within an hour of the agreed-upon time (after being unable to get their vehicle started, and waiting for a jump-start.) They set to work immediately. I am admittedly very particular about taping around trim and door frames. Their level of precision and attention to those details was at least as good as my own, probably better. They applied the first coat, took a break for less than an hour to allow it to set, then applied the second coat. The job was finished within about four hours, and the room including the attached bathroom where they cleaned up, were spotless. The finished product is flawless. I would definitely hire this company again, and highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Rich came out to look at the townhome I had just purchased and give me an estimate for painting the entire house, as well as the interior of the front and back doors and a stair railing. His estimate was clear-cut and he broke out everything so that I could choose the items I wanted done. He was quick to respond and set up a date to paint the house and help me with questions I had about colors, etc. He made the whole process easy and stress free from start to finish and the final price I paid was the same as what he had told me in the original estimate, which, unfortunately, I am not able to say about some of the other contractors in different trades that I've been dealing with. The house looks great now -- A+ job guys! Thanks!

Description of Work: I had "botched" a paint job in my living room that had very high ceiling. I had purchased a deal for painting many months ago from A Brush with Success but had never used it. Rich looked at my painting and said he could fix it. He and his crew did an awesome job fixing my paint job on the ceiling. They left my home very neat.

Description of Work: Rich and his team were extremely professional, punctual and the quality of work was exceptional. His crew painted our finished basement as well as a last minute request to paint the kitchen pantry (lots of detail) and the master bedroom closet. I would highly recommend his services!

Description of Work: We received an exterior painting estimate only at this time. Due to the changing weather he advised and we agreed to wait until spring to paint. Rich was timely, professional and helpful.

Description of Work: Rich is fantastic and his work and his employees are great. he is on time, gets the work done fast and then gets out of your life/way. I have seen other contractors, especially for outdoor painting, spend weeks on a job. RIch and his crew were done in days and did the job incredibly well. Rich is busy and there is a reason for that - he does great work, does it fast, uses great materials and is always on time. so those who complain on here that Rick is not getting back to them promptly ought to see that as a positive. when he calls you, he will be on time, will give you a comprehensive quote and will perform flawlessly. They have done 2 jobs for me already - full exterior and almost 1/2 interior - and I am going to call them to do 2 more rooms.
