Very well. They cleaned up afterwards, and were careful with their work.

Estimate was good, best in class. Friendly and honest about expectations. My scheduling and paint selection delays with testing and changing, not knowing how they would look on interior until it was done/sampled and dried. Some miscommunication with these changes caused conflict with completion dates ahead of our vacation and delay in scheduling of his best crew...so, not really their fault entirely. All worked out in the end and they did a fair job, for a fair price.

They were not actually good for me. I did communicate with the guy. They actually destroyed some bushes of mine in front of my house, and when I e-mailed him regarding that issue, he was not helpful at all. First of all I had to call them back to finish part of the trim that they failed to paint which was very obvious. So, they came back. When they came back, they destroyed the bushes because of the ladder that they used. I think they just stuck the ladder in the bushes. So, it destroyed the bushes, and we had to cut them all out. I e-mailed him about it, told him that I was very unhappy with it, and wanted him to somehow rectify it or something. All he said was “pretty hard to paint around bushes” and that’s all he said. He was not professional at all. He did not care. We told him that we were going to leave a review unless he tried to fix the issue and he never responded. I would definitely not use him again. They really do not care about their customer. The quality of their work is okay. It is not great. It is just very average, and it is somewhat flabby.

Called Rich for a bid to paint some new doors that were installed by Wood n things (also Angie's list). He came over Saturday morning and we looked at the older doors and trim that needed paint. Bid came in on Sunday, he was able to start on Monday and all work was done by Wednesday AM. Painting trim is tedious and exacting work. Rich and the boys did a great job. I will definitely use them again.

Painting was done quickly and neatly. However.... in spite of my instructions they left the yard gate open, so my dog escaped and I spent quite a while tracking her down and bringing her back home. Very upsetting. They loosened the electrical input wiring to the garage, allwoing the wiring to drop over 5 feet down from where it was, disconnecting the interior electrical and the door opener. Since the garage door was electrically opened, and the entrance door was locked from the inside, I had to take the entrance door off the hinges to get into the garage. I have to have an electrician come out to reconnect the wiring so I can open and shut the garage door, and that will cost several hundred collars. not happy. they also left the outdoor water spigot running when they left, and I did not find that the water was on for over 5 hours. No excuse for this lack of detail.

The work was great. Dealing with the owner was a little difficult. But the two guys were great.

Overall a great experience! Extremely professional and careful of all the floors, windows coverings, rugs, etc. Team was quick, yet complete. We will use them again and would highly recommend.

This is an update of a previous score of f. Rich had tried to use an incorrect email so no fault, no foul. We will evaluate Rich's bid against some others and will go with the most qualified provider.

Good painters, very neat and punctual.

The estimate was quick and efficient and reasonable. The day of the painting, the two men that did the work were very friendly and professional. I had my own paint pre-purchased and was using leftover paint from a friend for the small nook. They were able to make it work even though it was a 1/3-1/2 galloon. The bedroom and nook look fantastic! I would use them again.

The brother pair that painted our bedroom and bathroom were courteous, and efficient. They got done in one day what would have taken me three days to do on my own. I'm one picky b****** and they did a better job than I could have done. I wish all craftspersons did such fine work! I would definitely have them back to paint.

I hired Rich to paint 2 rental homes I own. The 1st house his crew painted was the exterior of a small renter-occupied home in HR and the 2nd was the interior and exterior of a much larger HR home that I was temporarily living in while fixing it up for rental. This working relationship went from great (before the sale) to a nightmare (after the sale). Rich was non-existent for the majority of the work. He had a crew of non-English speaking painters who were on their own except for a few fast walk-throughs by Rich 3-4 days/week, appeared to be for the sole purpose of telling them to work faster. On the final day he rushed them out of the house so fast I didn't even know they were leaving until they were packed up and ready to drive away. he assured me he'd be back the next day to do a walk-thru. Before leaving on the last day of painting he was paid and he asked me to identify areas that needed touchup.. He returned the next day with one of his crew who he had paint the areas I identifed but, again, it was a rush-rush situation so I missed things. There were things not painted at all, areas painted that were done very poorly, overflow paint on areas that shouldn't have been painted, thinly painted areas with old paint (different color) show-through, paint splatters on woodwork and ceilings, window coverings, wall plates, and grates that were not replaced, etc... Rich assured me over and over again BEFORE payment that 'they do everything'...not even close. The quality of the interior work ranged from adequate to very poor. There was no opportunity to go over the exterior of the home (the last thing painted). The quality of the exterior work on the 1st house ranged from adequate to poor (in spite of Rich going over twice himself to correct the problems, but always going without me to point out the issues (after assuring me each time he'd let me know when he was going so I could meet him there, he never did call me). The quality of the exterior of the 2nd home was fair to very poor. Peeling paint was not scraped before painting, exposed nails were not hammered in, screens in many cases were not removed to paint the sills,holes were not filled etc. They left a mess outside and in the garage that I had to clean up. Within days the areas of loose paint that was painted over was already peeling (large areas), sills left unpainted, a razor blade was left on a sill and rusted,. It took several weeks to finally reach Rich (phone, emails, voice messages) to ask that he come back to make the corrections (as he assured me he would until I "was satisfied" - and per contract. When he did return he was defensive and hostile and refused to make the corrections. I am forced to hire another painter to correct the poor quaility of interior and experior painting so that I can rent the house out.

They did an excellent job and were wonderful to deal with. I recommend them without reservation.

Even though my review of this particular company has been delayed I feel its important that future potential customers be aware of how I was treated by Rich. I first contacted this company for an interior paint bid that was to include approximately 75% of my home. I scheduled an appointment with Rich for an in-home estimate, at which time I explained to him that I was also obtaining two other bids from his competition. Unfortunately, when Rich came for his appointment another painting contractor was just finishing up his bid (was having computer problems) and was literally five minutes away from leaving. When I explained to Rich the other contractor was having computer problems and would be done in five minutes he immediately developed an attitude and rudely walked out. At the time I was having a new floor installed and even my floor contractor was in shock at not only his attitude, but lack of professionalism. I did call Rich immediately after and apologized again, but he never returned my phone call. In rethinking how he responded and how quickly his attitude changed when things were not going his way, I had decided it was not someone I wanted in my home. If he was going to get this upset over a five minute delay, my concern was how would he respond if I had used him and was critical of his work.

Wasn't able to have the service completed. I purchased two coupons from Brush with Success. My husband passed away and I misplaced the coupons. We had someone else do this for us, we asked for a refund. We had no problems with this company whatsoever. They were very accommodating.

We had painting done to our converted upstairs. A brush with success did a nice job and in a timely manner. We will use them again.

I didn't realize my paint store didn't have computer paint matching and so the painters and I had to wait while the store experimented. The freezing cold made my walls sweat . I got some big fans. I got oil-based paint and they could only do 1 coat of paint on the trim--not their fault. Quick, expert and efficient.

We wanted the kitchen and a powder room painted. There was much prep work, taping around the edges. The painters worked fast and accurate, no spills or other mistakes. Cleanup was complete. The rooms look wonderful.

We had them paint 2 small bedrooms for us. The quality of their work was great. I guess I was not thrilled that Rich charged me an extra $40 for painting a reach in closet in a different color and another $50 for painting the ceiling in the other room. I was a little surprised by the invoice because he never mentioned the extra charges when he came by to give me an estimate for the rest of the house that same day. I just would have appreciated the heads up. The guys were on time and cleaned up after themselves. The rooms turned out great. Response - Lets clarify the room took 3 coats because they did not use the primer I bought for the room. Their fault, not mine. So I had to go buy more paint later on. Extra charges should be agreed on by the customer before proceeding. Common courtesy... Otherwise, the customer has no choice of how much they want to pay for the extra work.

Overall, I was very pleased with both the work and the courtesy and professionalism of the painters.

The job took two days to complete. We had no problems and were more than satisfied with the end result.

As related above. It was a good experience.

Completely our fault for purchasing the services and then not being able to use them. I did speak with the man over the phone and he was very professional. I would call him again.

In my opinion, these companies get involved with these Deals when they’re down on business, but then it takes them two months to actually do the work since they get so busy, even though I wanted to get the work done six months after I purchased the Deal. I got a refund for this Deal.
