 + -1 moreJon estimated the work and stayed within his estimate. The work was completed within one day. He and his associate were tidy and cleaned up after themselves--very professional and friendly too. Jon also made sure the house's circuits were properly labeled in the breaker box. The inspector required Jon to come back and replace a damaged flange between the mast and the breaker box (it is not uncommon for inspectors to fail large service changes due to relatively minor issues). Jon gladly came back the next day to correct the problem, enabling it to pass inspection.
Description of Work: 150 amp service change. My 1940s era home was way overloaded and has needed a service upgrade for quite some time. I also recently finished my basement and needed additional capacity for my new loads. Jon and his associate pulled a permit and installed a new breaker box and mast outside the back door and converted the old circuit breakers into junction boxes per code. Current electrical code now requres the work to comply with more stringent requirements for grounding, mast height, etc.
