Description of Work: Nate arrived the next day after my call. He was able to provide minimal repairs to get our door ready for painting. Additionally he suggested an automated door opener that addressed all of our security concerns. After the work was completed we found the trim to be a little crooked. This was due to a warp in our door. Nate came out and fixed this right away. We would use this company again.

Description of Work: I was on my lunch hour and while the service great, I was late getting back to work, took a little longer than I expected.

Description of Work: They initially did just a tune up. There work was terrific and he provided some information about protecting the doors. Very nice people. When I later needed an emergency fix, I called them. Once again they went over and above what I expected. I was essentially locked out of my house because a spring broke and they came over immediately. I liked the fact that they left a label with dates of service.

Description of Work: Ned arrived promptly, well within the timeframe we had decided upon. I had purchased his Angie's List online $39 garage door tuneup deal that I would recommend for everyone, just as maintenance. Our remote openers were not working, nor were the buttons at the door into the house and at the garage door itself. Ned adjusted and tightened the sensors, examined, tested and lubed the door's hardware. He was quick, thorough, professional, and he did not charge extra for the repairs. I recommend Advanced Door Works and Ned Schvaneveldt for any garage door issues..

Description of Work: Ned responded about 6 hours after calling him. He is very professional and honest. He came and diagnosed the problem and took care of it quickly. He even programed the doors to my car opener. He is great and his receptionist was very helpful.

Description of Work: We have been having problems with our garage door opening and/or closing whenever there were extreme cold or hot days. This has happened since we had Ankmar Door out a year ago to replace a spring that had broken. Ankmar replaced the spring however, the door started refusing to open totally on cold days. Ankmar came back out and told my husband that the problem with the garage door not opening fully was due to the fact that we needed to perform a seasonal adjustment on the garage door as the weather changed. Over the last couple months this problem has been happening in the 85+ degree days that Colorado has been experiencing so we decided to have an independent company come out to do maintenance. Ned came for the tune-up today that we purchased as one of Angie's Big Deals for $39. He was punctual, very knowledgeable and capable. After he evaluated the situation he advised us that the spring that Ankmar installed was the incorrect size (too small) for our double garage door which was causing the inability of the door to open fully. To correct this problem Ned had to replace the spring which meant we had to pay additional money taking our total cost for this maintenance up to around $100, that is, another $60 due to correct the problem. He even advised us that because of the incorrect spring being installed it was due to break within another 6 months. We are totally satisfied with Advanced Door Works and will be a repeat customer. We are disappointed that Ankmar who is in the business of installing and maintaining their doors didnt know how to repair the garage door properly the first time around and even through the responsibility of adjusting it back to us. By the way, Ankmar charged 3 times the amount that we were charged by Ned from Advanced Door Works. Kudo's to Ned and we looked forward to a problem free door no matter what the weather is outside.

Description of Work: Checked, adjusted, and lubricated the doors. Discovered a badly frayed cable, and replaced it. Did every thing promptly, efficiently and courteously. One of our best house services experiences years.
