Description of Work: I received multiple quotes of over $1200 to replace the A/C compressor on my car. Hawker's did the job for about $650. Plus the compressor has a life time warranty.

My daughter was impressed with her visit and related to me that she had just found her new automobile repair shop! Aaron, thank you, so much. You have no idea of how appreciative she and I are.
Description of Work: My daughter, who had just moved across the country from Virginia to Fort Collins, was experiencing screeching problem in engine compartment of her Yaris, which had been increasing as the weather was getting colder.

Description of Work: I had brought my car in prior to today because there was a rattling noise coming from the back. They looked at it, tested it, and realized, after over an hour, that it was the brake calipers so they called the part in and replaced it. However, a couple weeks later - the noise was back. I brought it in again to see what they could do for me and they looked at the car again, figured out it was the links in the back. They ended up replacing them for free as they felt it was their fault that they didn't catch this the first go around.

Description of Work: Our daughter is away from home (AZ) in grad school at CSU. She had overheating problems in her car, even though it was cold. I searched Angie's List and contacted Hawker from AZ. I found them very easy to talk to on the phone. They told me what they thought and what they would do to diagnose the problem. Ultimately, the pressure test of the radiator revealed a severe leak (not surprising considering the car had 163,000 miles). But they got the job done on time and even took my Visa payment over the phone. Also, our daughter said she felt comfortable with everybody she spoke with at Hawker. | |Three weeks later I was in Ft. Collins to swap cars with her. So I got to see them in action first hand. I had them go over the second car to make sure it was ready for winter and do an oil change. They had the car ready 3 hours before the time we had agreed. | |After dealing with them both on the phone and in person, I am very pleased with their service and business ethics. I now know my daughter will have a safe honest and reliable shop for her car for the next 3 1/2 years while in Ft. Collins. I wish they had a shop near me in AZ!!!

 + -1 moreIt is difficult for me to be without my work van so I am so grateful that Hawkers has Saturday hours. They are always good about getting the van back to me the same day. Prices are VERY reasonable and they get it right the first time, something that can't always said about the dealer service department. Cory at the front counter knows his stuff and is very good at communicating with me so I know where things stand. Their shuttle makes getting a vehicle worked on very convenient. Nice to find a mechanic you can trust.

They took me right in and installed a new performance muffler ( That's what the old one was ). They also took care of a minor exhaust strap problem while doing the muffler, no extra charge. Very efficient, fast, reasonable cost.

 + -1 moreI originally went in thinking my differential was on the way out based on a $3000.00 estimate I received from another shop. These folks called and said it was just the U-joints. I was so impressed with their honesty that I went ahead and had them replace the brakes and install new sway bars. Total bill was approx 415.00 and everything was done in 1-day. In addition they gave me a 10% senior discount off all parts Car is running like a dream. Great service. I will certainly use them in the future.

 + -1 moreI went in to get an estimate of the cost. I had previously checked out the cost of parts of the web. The price they quoted for the installed exhaust system was essentially what it would have cost me to order the parts and do the installation myself. Then they said they could do the work in less than an hour which they did. They do the pipe bending right in the shop, a very interesting process to watch. Then they welded the pipes and muffle and I was out of there in less than 45 minutes. I was very impressed. They also do automotive mechanical repair, brakes, etc.
Description of Work: Installed a new exhaust system on my 1995 Chevy pickup, from the CAT back.

Description of Work: Took car in to get brakes done. A friend who recently had brakes done for a similar car at another place told me to expect $600 for new rotors and pads. When Hawkers told me it would be half that I was in dis belief. Picked up the car and brakes worked great. Had someone check and yes, rotors and pads were new.
