David is a gifted wood working craftsman. He has an eye for details. The stairs are solid and sound. And the bannister and balusters are beautiful. We are very pleased with his work and thankful that we had the opportunity to get to know him. We would definitely recommend him and would work with him again.

David is very detailed and thorough and does not quit until the job is done and done well. He fixed a wonky cabinet door and a cabinet drawer that had been going off the track. Both had been "fixed" for us before but the solution only lasted for a very short time. Now, I can honestly say that the door and the drawer are both better than ever. He also fixed two drawer faces that had begun to detach from the drawer and now they are secure and I can use them confidently. I would highly recommend him for the quality of the work he does and because he explains what he is doing and why. Great work skillfully performed by a master!

Very impressed with the work that David did in replacing my kitchen cabinet lazy Susan type shelf. He took extra precautions to ensure the new shelves would not give me any problems and explained what he was doing and why. Also, he was only hired to replace the one badly cracked shelf but noticed that the other shelf was also showing early signs of cracks and replaced that shelf as well at no extra charge.

I can not recommend David highly enough. He has worked wonders on our old kitchen with regard to drawers, cabinets, and floor trim. In particular, he individually crafted each of our kitchen drawers to accomodate soft-glides, an activity that required considerable ingenuity. Also, he significantly strengthed our basement stairs and first floor stairs and refinished the latter which now look great. Finally, he designed a clever fix for a problem with a deck railing. David is a real gentleman and will always work around your schedule to accomodate you needs. If you are having issues with old kitchens, stairs, etc, he is the man for you!

David Tisdale is a seasoned pro when it comes to woodworking of any kind, i.e. cabinets, stairs,doors, and even furniture. He is an expert in repairs and is very conscientious in his work. David did an absolutely beautiful job in refinishing our stair rail. Every detail was attended to and his color suggestion for the hand rail is just gorgeous. We were very happy with his work and would definitely recommend him!

The Stair Doctor is the perfect name. If they had a school for Doctors of Stairs ,the Stair Doctor, would have the building named after him. We appreciate the craftsmanship and care given to our project. We have a fifty year old house and the stairs needed a complete refresh. We found the right person for the job! Dave goes above and beyond with his attention to detail and we appreciated that so much. He refurbished kitchen drawers for us (they were falling apart) and they will probably outlast everything else in the house now.

David was professional and conscientious. He did a great job trimming down a cabinet to make room for a taller refrigerator. He masked off the area to contain the sawdust and vacuumed up the debris from the job. Here fit us in on short notice and his price for the work was extremely fair. We will definitely call him again when we need woodwork around the house.

Dave is a true professional and someone who shows great pride in their work. I was pleased to work with Dave on a relatively small but urgent project to help with my mother s mobility needs. Dave created time in his busy schedule and even installed the railing after hours on a Friday! It really helped us out in a pinch and the work was fantastic. We will be doing future projects with The Stair Doctor soon! Highly recommended.

David is very professional, friendly and honest! He helped me disign my project and order all the right items. His work was above and beyond all my expectations! He is definitely knowledgeable in the area of spindle replacements.

I had a tricky job, changing old cabinets to accept a larger and newer refrigerator. The house had settled and the refit was for an area no longer having 90 degree angles. The old stain no longer exists. Carpentry Magic was performed and my wife and I are very happy campers (5-star happy!).
