We had to turn off water on Saturday morning due to a leak which flooded the basement. We were able to move out until Monday to avoid weekend charges, but scheduled work for 1 p.m. They were able to come early, fixed everything and even told me where to print out a coupon.

The estimator (Gary) was great to work with and helped me determine the best approach to plumbing for a new bathroom that was not convenient to existing drain lines. We came to a decision which involved jack-hammering a trench in the basement floor to tie into the main sewer line. I decided to do that work myself and Gary was very helpful in letting me know exactly what was needed. The crew showed up exactly as expected and completed the work in the time alloted. There was a slight problem with the inspection, which was immediately addressed. All-in-all, this was a great experience with a very professional and customer-focused company.

It went ok, wasn't terrific, wasn't bad. Guys were courteous, prompt, clean and did a pretty good job. Took a lot longer than it should have because of the broken tile (12X12) that had to be replaced.

Very professional and clean. They called prior to the appointment and were actually able to get there early, which was nice. They fixed what they came to fix; I was very happy with the service and would recommend them to anyone, especially in my building.

They are punctual. I am just a little bit afraid, and I could not say much other than that. For the air conditioning service thing, I would say they're bad. However, I have used them for plumbing, and they have been good.

They were more than professional, couture and did more than I hired them for. They were on time, and cleaned up everything afterwards.

The guys were right on time this morning. Clean, professional, and took measures to protect all work areas. I will certainly use this company in the future! Priceing was reasonable compared to others we have used in he past. Good experience!

The toilet is working, no leaks the sink pop up is working!!! It is all great! The plumbers were friendly, instructive, thorough and as I mentioned cleaned everything up! Great service! Again, this was my first time use of Angie's list and if this is any indication what a fabulous concept! Thank you Bill Smith Plumbing (especially Mike and Guy - the plumbers)!!!!

Scott came out and fixed both items quickly and efficiently. I appreciate receiving the call beforehand that someone is on the way also, which they did. We will be calling again, and asking for Scott, to fix an exterior/interior hose hookup pipe because they will have to come inside and go through the ceiling to fix it. So I will plan to schedule time for that work to be done. Scott was very professional and pleasant. I have not used this company before, but as stated above, will be calling for additional work.

I have been a customer of Bill Smith for many, many years and have had many different workmen doing various jobs at my house. I have had only one recall (to my memory!) for a new toilet that was not their fault - just a fluke with the inner mechanism which they fixed right away. I have never ever met or dealt with a "bad apple" at Bill Smith and highly recommend them for any and all kinds of plumbing and heating work - not only for professionalism, but also for quality work and price. They are certainly to be trusted to do it right.

I contacted Bill Smith originally to quote replacing my water heater and putting in a new outside frost-free water faucet sillcock. Gary, the estimator, came to my house and inspected the water heater and the existing sillcock and provided a written quote after a few days via email. They were the best quote for both, but unfortunately I could not do the water heater at the time so I only had them do the water faucet replacement. Gary was very patient with my changes to the quoted services. I made an appointment for May 23 at 1 pm, and the plumbers showed up on time to do the work and were friendly and professional. They finished the job in less time than I expected, cleaned up the work, and accepted payment right there. I've been using the faucet now for several weeks and it works fine, with no sign of sweating of the solder joints in the copper lines in my crawlspace or outright leaking. They did a good job and I intend to eventually take them up on their water heater quote as well.

We had received a bid from another Angie's List provider that seemed excessively high. We elected to get a second opinion from Bill Smith Plumbing. Their bid was roughly half what they other provider quoted. Because of that, we asked them to do that work and repair and replace 3 outside spigots while they were at our house. They arrived on time and completed all of the work in less than 90 minutes. We were very pleased.

Michael was our technician and we were glad to have him. The outside copper line repair took 5 minutes. The bad problem was a simple water valve replacement in an absolute nightmare location in the basement. It took an understandably long time to get the valve replaced but Michael kept his composure and kept at it until it was installed. He even appologised for taking so long but I was happy with the completed job. I realized before calling for service that the job was going to be a bad one so I got the Angie's List deal that Bill Smith offered ($110 for 200) and saved myself some money (Thanks to Roy in thier office for the help with that). We are new to Colorado and this is the first plumbing job we have contracted for. We are very glad to have found Bill Smith Plumbing.

They showed up right on time. Two guys showed up, they were very professional. They got the job done quickly and everything worked right. I thought it was excellent service.

I purchased the $99 Coupon to have a leak in my bathroom tub repaired. I suspected a new gasket was needed to seal the overflow valve. After determining the new gasket would not fix the leak and the company could not repair the problem. I was charged an additional $86.00 for a total of $185.00 and given a $99 credit for a future job. This experience was one of the reasoned I joined Angie's list to avoid. I understand paying for the call out but $185.00 was extreme. I am afraid to use the remaining coupon credit for fear I will end up even deeper in the hole. In hindsight I wish I had just cancelled the coupon and cut my losses. I may not have another need for a plumber before it expires in September anyway. I suppose that is the risk you take when you pay upfront for work.

Bill Smith Plumbing & Heating Inc did a fabulous job. I think they are so good they have now become my regular plumber. The first time they came out it was such a small job that I had them back again to use my Big Deal. They are very responsive when you make the appointments, they are right on time, the two servicemen that came were very professional, and I couldn't be happier. They were very neat, cleaned up after themselves, and they really did know what they were doing. I was worried because the faucet was a special faucet and it's a little tricky to install than the normal ones but the serviceman knew exactly what to do and he did it perfectly. I'm thrilled with Bill Smith Plumbing & Heating Inc. I'm having them back to put in a water heater.

Dan and Guy came in and installed my new shower head in minutes. I had tried to install it myself but after 30 minutes realized I did not have the right tools. My kitchen faucet was a little tricky but was installed perfectly.

They were responsive and they came out right away. They got everything they needed on the truck to fix my problem. The service rep was very pleasant.

They came out the same day and did the job.I did not have $200 worth of work for them to do so I now have a credit with them.

Scott showed up on time and was able to remove the broken sillcock through a small hole in a finished basement ceiling. He replaced it with a new, longer sillcock and completed the work professionally and within the quoted time and price. Very satisfied with the work and I would use Bill Smith Plumbing again.

Bill Smith Plumbing & Heating Inc. I thought they did a good job. They did what they said they were going to. They fixed the problem. After they left I had another problem I didn't have before they were here. They say they didn't cause it, but to me it was working before. And then you left and it wasn't working. So I don't know if they caused it, but it was a coincidence there. And I haven't fixed that problem yet. But overall, saying they didn't cause that problem they were a good company. I called them about the new problem, the guy that was on call explained to me how t disconnect the circulation system for my water heater so I could go ahead and use it without having someone come out on a weekend. I appreciated that. They were knowledgable in that way. This is the second time I've had them and both times they were pleasant, on time and they did a good job. Here is something I didn't expect. I believe I bought $100 coupon. The first time they came in January they fixed the faucets upstairs in the master bathroom, and they explained to me and showed it to me. The coupon was for $100 for $200 worth of services I think that's what it was. In any event, the faucet didn't come to that and so they credited me back, I had a credit of like $45. So it hadn't been used on the coupon. When the water heater started leaking I call them and they applied that $45 to their bill here and gave me a different coupon that they had going at the time. They saved me like $50 or $60 with discounts and coupons. Then the most recent water heater thing happened. I'm going to say the second week in May.

They've been very good. They are efficient and knowledgeable.

Roy Yehle from the company came out, was informative and said I would receive the estimate by the following Monday. Did not receive an estimate and called to determine status. Was told the gentleman was behind on his work load and that I should receive it by weeks end. Still have not received it and unfortunately will not do business with this company. 05/31/13 - The owner of the company contacted me to discuss the situation and said the estimate would be sent within a day. I did receive the estimate. Thank you.
